The Universal Heroes System: Custom Classic Marvel Super Heroes RPG Rules
Introduction: If you're looking for some sort of reason why I'm going to all this bother to revamp the Classic (as they call it these days) Marvel Super Heroes Role Playing Game, this might help. This is just a wee explanation of how this project came about, and why I've never actually managed to finish the thing. Perhaps things will turn out differently this time - good luck to me, eh?
Character Sheets: Herein you can find the standard Universal Heroes System character sheet - at least, standard 'till I go over it and decide if I'm to build something simpler / more complex / whatever. I also included a variety of 'sample' character sheets, so you can see folks from various universes represented by the things - a showcase of what they can do, if you will.
Disclaimer: the sad truth in this day and age is that you can't build on anything, even a game system that's been inactive for 15 years, without making some sort of Legalese clarification of your intentions. I'd rather not get sued, since I am nigh-destitute, so I have made the effort of explaining what I am and am not taking credit for writing here. Silly that I have to, but what can you do?

So at this point (12/18/6), I have now completed the conversion of everything I've made public for the 13 rules-wise into a nifty .html format for those of you that don't like reading stuff by download. In doing so I added 'notes' to various portions of my rules since some of 'em, especially the 'core' business, are in an utter shambles. That's why I've got the stuff below that asterisk there; this is 'work in progress'.
See, I've had issues in the past with the way I write, so I'm attempting to resolve that by writing in a sort of 'live' process, instead of fidgeting with everything until it looks just right (and looks; I seemed to go with whatever looked nicest in a Word document, and I'm still kicking myself over that). So you'll be seeing the following works evolve dramatically over time as I polish up the rules the proper way.
This being a step by step, from the ground-up revision of all my Universal Heroes System rules. Starting with the Core Rules, I'm working through from there to the end, and once I've 'cemented' my Version 4 rules, I'll be able to better upgrade the Manual of the Psi - and finish my Book of Magic. And then, of course, I can start releasing the stuff I've been holding back on (like my Textbook Character thing).
Remember again: this stuff below is not at all complete. It's 'living writing', as it were, which is still something I have to bend my head around. It's highly subject to change; feel like commenting as I write, feel free - I will either justify what I'm doing rationally or go with suggestions and give credit. Most of it's really in my head already, but regardless. At any rate, here's the stuff in progress:
Where my Core Rules of the Universal Heroes business is concerned, I'd defined most of the ability scores, standard and 'split', as well as some of the basic rules of movement. I'd also written up quirks, which were virtually complete and usable, and I'm in the process of making all this available. This section will see the Massive Upgrade First, believe you me - it's the core!
As for the Book of Magic project, you can find what I've got done for that thing so far here. I haven't defined any of the spells yet - I think I'd stopped 'cause I knew I needed to work out the kinks of my 'core' rules before I continued. A thing about ranges and intensities that I had to sort out (and know I hadn't when I did the Manual, there). Check it out.
As for the Manual of the Psi, I've got that thing all html'd up and avaiable for your online browsing. Why I never did this before I don't know - especially since I had this site when I wrote the thing. But here goes. I seem to recall this 'yasser' guy made an html Manual way in the past, but something odd happened and it went away. Perhaps some sort of editorial issue? Memory betrays me.
That's about it - oh wait, I lie. Need a random number generator from 00-99? You know, instant percentile results? Then Click here. This was the foundation, the guts if you will, of something I never quite got around to finishing. I needed so many photos of dices... argh. But, here is the tool as it existed the last time I toyed with it. Just hit reload or f5 to get new results or something.
