Universal Heroes: Deluxe Character Sheets
Listed here are the few deluxe character sheets I concocted in my 'deluxe' Universal Heroes format before I realized just how much time each of them seemed to be taking; I still want to finish up that Constructicon set, but we'll see how that goes. If you want to build your own, I am also including the original .pdf file I built for these things (in the event you have Photoshop available). Handy Downloads:
Universal Heroes Character Sheet (GIF): this is the current standard Universal Heroes system 'basic' character sheet. It does not take into account the 'split stat' thing - that sheet is forthcoming. Have made this available as a .gif file, as it is much smaller in storage space than a big ol' .pdf (though that is also available for your use; see below). Check it out - it's spiffy! 156 KB
Universal Heroes Character Sheet (PDF): this is the exact same deal as the above, except that I've built it as a .pdf file instead of a .gif - though I think I had this file first, truth be told. It's larger but essentially the same material as the above file, so feel free to grab this one if you were wanting to take them to a Fed-Ex Kinkos (or whatever they're called now). 365 KB
Universal Heroes Character Sheet (PSD): alternately, if you have Photoshop handy in some form or another (I got a free 'sample' version with some video card way back in the day), here are the actual .psd files I used to concoct these deluxe character sheets. This is in case you want to toy around with them to make your own, or wish to make your own version. 1.01 MB
Universal Heroes Blank Sheet (GIF): this is essentially a 'blank page' sort of sheet, a generic lined sheet of paper in the Universal Heroes style (with the curvy borders and everything), that can be used to further document extra long characters with the Universal Heroes character sheet, amongst other things. I put this together just in case you need it - or I do... 61 KB
Universal Heroes Blank Sheet (PDF): this is the exact same deal as the above, except that I've built it as a .pdf file instead of a .gif - though I think I had this file set first, truth be told. It's larger but essentially the same material contained by the above zip file, but I put it together (or found and uploaded it) so you could have it printed 'professionally'. 30 KB
Universal Heroes Blank Sheet (PSD): similar to the above .psd files, I have made the 'source' files for the blank sheets (such as they are) available for those of you who have Photoshop and would like to tinker around with the things, and / or make use of them when building your own deluxe Universal Heroes character sheets. They zipped up quite nicely. 72 KB
Universal Heroes Alternate Back Sheets (GIF): these are just optional versions of the back pages of the character sheet and blank page files above. The only difference between the rear pages of the above sheets and these are simply the lack of a 'continued on the next page' statement at the bottom of each; other than that, they're exactly the same (but available for convenience). 97 KB
(Note: Firebomb notes the lack of a .pdf file here; not sure where it went.)
Universal Heroes Alternate Back Sheets (PSD): again similar to the above .psd files, I offer you the 'source' material I used to make the alternate backs to the character sheet and blank page images listed above; these lack 'continued on the next page' blurbs at the bottom, but are otherwise the same as those which they are based on. Just for the sake of completion. 660 KB
Old Character Sheets
Universal Heroes Character Sheet (XLS): well, here's my original character sheet, made available for your ease of use... Made for use with Microsoft Excel, this sheet covers all the modifications I've inflicted upon the standard MSH system in order to create my Universal Heroes rules. It's an .xls format program (which is for Microsoft (tm) Excel (tm) programs, but if you can access it, enjoy! (22 KB)
Universal Heroes Character Sheet Samples (XLS): thought I'd lost these things, but when I found them recently I figured I would provide them as general samples of how I used the Excel sheet, above. It includes 13 sheets, being 12 characters and 1 suit of armor, and a whole lot of my old, horrible art. Well, my art's still horrible, but you know. Hope they amuse. 2.44 MB
Character Sheet Samples
What I'll be showcasing below are special character sheets that I've made up, sheets that cover folks from across the gamut of my Technoholic works... and beyond. These were once rather large .jpg files, causing the zipped up archive to be at least 1.5 megabytes apiece, but I've just switched over to the .gif file format, saving oodles of your download time! Check these spiffy folks out:
the Constructicons:
Bonecrusher: one of the very first character sheets I did in the deluxe format, this guy is one of the six Constructicons, those transformers who could combine to form the terrible Devastator. I know I don't do transformers for the 13 (I've seen two other sites trying to cover 'em, so I don't bother), but I dig these guys anyway, so here ya go. Was 2.5 MB, now 1.13 MB!
Hook: Hook, one of the six Constructicons, is another of my early character sheet experiments. Of course, he's been sitting on my hard drive until I could convert him over to my new, streamlined deluxe format for your gaming pleasure, but now this snotty, evil perfectionist is available for your gaming pleasure - can't have Devastator without him... Was 2.25 MB, now 1.02 MB!
Long Haul: the first new Constructicon description I've concocted in a good long while, Long Haul is the bitter guy of the bunch, a Constructicon who'd rather do more fighting than building. He doesn't perform his duties with the savage glee that his compatriots, such as Hook and Mixmaster, do; he'd rather be a full-time warrior! Is 1.10 MB!
Mixmaster: Mixmaster is an odd duck amongst the Constructicons, in that he's sort of unhinged. He performs his alchemical duties like unto a medieval witch, at least as far as the mad cackling goes, doing so while mixing anything from scrap metal to still-living Autobots in his drum to produce more construction supplies. Eesh. Is 1.15 MB!
the Manimals:
Iguanus: the most notorious of the Manimals, Iguanus is something of a cosmic menace, having terrorized the space ways for an untold number of years. In fact, this hunter is always on the lookout for new things to kill - the more difficult the hunt, the better! And, as it usually turns out, most aliens are too scared of him to put up a decent fight... File size: 1.20 MB!
Slythor: Slythor is a first rate space pilot, but he's better known for his occupation as an intergalactic bounty hunter. You see, he hunts dangerous cosmic criminals - not for justice, mind you, but the sheer thrill of it. That's why he often breaks more laws than his targets when in the process of hunting them down. That's why local authorities never like his visits... File size: 968 KB!
Warwolf: a slow, dim-witted kind of guy, Warwolf is a voracious eater of just about anything - whether it is technically 'food' or not. People, helicopters, meteors, you name it, Warwolf has eaten it - more than once, in fact. Of course, he eventually gets bored, and has to move on to a new world, thus necessitating his arms sales; got to pay for tickets somehow. File size: 1.22 MB!
Everyone Else:
Cobra Commander (Version 1): one of the greatest comic book villains ever, it was mandatory that I do a deluxe description of Cobra Commander as soon as I'd mastered the technique, and that I did. This sheet covers the man in his first incarnation, with or without his distinctive battle helmet, and offers him for your gaming pleasure at long, long last! Was 1.8 MB, now 822 KB!
Flash: the third Joe I've managed to build a deluxe character sheet for, this guy was the team's original high techie - he was the group's very first laser trooper, and he usually got to deal with the bizarre issues created by Cobra's super advanced technology (he got to take it all apart and figure out how it worked). Naturally, he's one of my favorite Joes! File size: 650 KB.
Grunt (Version 1): the Joe team's original infantryman, Grunt is a true stand-by of the team, having been associated with them since the very beginning. Sure, he left to get his engineering degree back in '86, but was always willing to help the team out when they really needed his assistance - which was more often than you would imagine...! File size: 686 KB.
Jack 'Mister Magnificent' Magniconte (Version 1): lead quarterback for the New York Smashers, Jack Magniconte gained super human powers in the wake of the White Event. After this bizarre occurrence, he had to deal with a dearth of paranormal threats to both himself and his friends, as he tried to use his powers to help his fellow man... Was 1.3 MB, now 727 KB!
Jack 'All-American' Magniconte (Version 2): lead quarterback for the New York Smashers, Jack Magniconte gained super human powers in the wake of the so-called White Event. Once the Man started snooping into his personal life, Jack rejoined the Army in the wake of the Draft, and got himself an all-new super-heroic identity... the All-American! Was 1.3 MB, now 690 KB!
Scarlett (Version 1): so Snake-Eyes wouldn't be outnumbered by a vast array of Cobra character sheets, I started to add some more Joe entries to my growing stack of deluxe character sheets. An expert martial artist in her own right, Scarlett is also a master of espionage and dirty tricks, and is the Joe team's resident covert ops specialist. Was 1.4 MB, now 675 KB!
Snake-Eyes (Version 1): this is the original character sheet I did up in my MSH RPG deluxe style. For those of you that have already downloaded this beauty, the file size is somewhat smaller than it was before, so it'll download quicker, but has lost absolutely no image quality in the translation - that, of course, because I redid it from scratch! Was 2.3 MB, now 991 KB!
Zartan (Version 1): leader of the Dreadnoks, optical genius and (most likely) mutant shapechanger, Zartan was a rather unique villain in the ranks of Cobra, in that he wasn't just another human flunky - and he had something of a conscience, one that showed through on occasion when he wasn't busy busting things up with his biker thug devotees. Was 2.1 MB, now 793 KB!
