Known Powers:

Equipment:
Grenades: for the most part, Christopher carries tear gas grenades while on duty, allowing him to disperse large crowds with their stunning effect. Of course, when in more active duty, Christopher also carries some incendiary (energy damage) grenades. These devices work at intensity 10 effectiveness.
Helmet: Christopher always wears a helmet while on duty, in order to minimize his risk of injury on patrol. This helmet is comprised of a composite of various materials layered for maximum protection, and affords Christopher +2 protection from non-facial head injuries.
the Joe-Com *: this is a new device given to all Joes since the group's reactivation. This high-tech wristband functions as an audio/video transceiver with an intensity 6 - 250 mile - range, is equipped with a G.P.S. system, a heart monitor, and can store up to a terabyte of raw data - not bad, eh?
Of course, this device also stores a variety of nutrients it can use to supplement activity, which are absorbed directly into one's pores (think of this as intensity 1 life support, where food is concerned). So, not only is the thing a nice, high tech video phone, but it can also save one's life in a pinch!
Night Stick: since he isn't out to fill ordinary criminal-types full of lead (most of the time, at least), Christopher carries this handy weapon in order to subdue folks while on duty. In melee, he can use this tried and true police weapon to inflict an impressive +3 damage.
Semi-Automatic Pistol: a back-up for all of his other weaponry, this small hand cannon is the last thing between Christopher and melee combat most of the time. It can be fired to inflict damage per a +4 weapon in a single shot, or damage per a +5 weapon in a semi-auto burst.
Uzi 9mm: whether he wields this gun or one of like ability, Christopher usually carries at least one of these with him while on duty. It can be fired to inflict damage per a +4 weapon with a single shot, damage per a +5 weapon with a small burst, or damage per a +6 weapon by expending a full clip on a target.
* The Joe-Com is something that the Joes started using in their new (as of 2001) comic, but (naturally) wasn't been featured on the Law action figure; he came out first after all.
Hindrances:
(none)
Skills:
Animal Handling: Christopher has always had a way with animals, especially dogs. In fact, he gets on very well with such animals, so much so that it seems that they understand whatever he says to them. When trying to convince animals to do something, Christopher makes such efforts at a reduced difficulty.
Boxing: a part of the training he received with the Houston P.D., training which was enhanced in his Army basic training, this talent reflects Christopher's ability to defend himself unarmed. He can divide his pre-cardplay action score between two attacks, the last of which occurs as a contingent action.
Law Enforcement: Christopher was a beat cop for several years before he even enlisted in the armed forces. His training with the Houston P.D. has given him a familiarity with the law and most legal agencies, and while acting as an enforcer of the law, he can legally carry arms and make arrests.
Marksmanship: a talent that is necessary as both a civilian and military police officer, this skill represents Christopher's ability to wield a gun in combat if necessary. Whether it be a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol, or even an energy caster, Christopher may use a gun at a reduced difficulty.
Military / United States: while he had a good job with his local police, Christopher felt that he could be a police officer in a more fulfilling fashion, and as such enlisted to become an M.P. He managed that easily, and in addition to his above skills, has gained an understanding of military protocols and procedures.
Calling:
Soldier: Christopher truly loves his job with the Joes, as it is the ultimate expression of a policeman's duty, after all - he's helping to bring the scum of the earth to justice. He gleefully does his duty as the G.I. Joe team's chief of security, and relishes his opportunity to do so.
Costume:
Christopher's fourth uniform is a return to his original style. This outfit includes a dark brown pair of pants, a white T-shirt under a black vest, a black 'M.P.' arm band, a black pair of leather boots, a black leather belt, a silver belt buckle, a silver 'M.P.' badge on his vest, a black gun holster, and a white 'M.P.' helmet.
Personality:
Christopher has been described as a 'slow-talking, mule-headed, obstreperous hoot owl with an attitude', and the description is rather apt. In addition to being rather single-minded, he likes working with animals, and truly enjoys seeing a guilty party brought to justice - it just makes him feel good about the world.

Story:
Christopher was a beat cop in Houston's Fifth District with his dog, Order, enforcing the law as best as he could for over two years. One night on the job, he decided that there had to be a better way to work the law than as a beat cop, and as such enlisted in order to get a job as an M.P.
He took Order with him, of course, and his love for the law - in addition to his stubborn nature - meant that there was no doubt that he'd get the job he wanted. Christopher did feel that his job was more fulfilling, and as such he performed his duty with a peace of mind that bordered on Zen meditation.
This got him noticed by his various superiors, who recommended him for a position on the G.I. Joe team. However, Christopher was sucked into a strange 'covert op within a covert op' with Chuckles, Fast-Draw, and Lieutenant Falcon, and assigned to guard an experimental missile system with their lives.
This operation was, in fact, an incredibly illegal one, and the missile - written off the books in an accounting 'error' years ago - was aimed square at Cobra Island. This being a huge diplomatic no-no currently, these ersatz Joes started digging into the situation, and figured out what was really going on.
As such, they abducted Hawk, the leader of the actual G.I. Joe team, and told him what was going on. Though they received significant opposition from Zarana and several Dreadnoks, this team ultimately got rid of the missile, as well as the corrupt politician and general behind this scheme.
Impressed with the performance of these four would-be Joes, Hawk then invited them onto the team for real. These fellows quickly made their mark on the team, and Christopher, now calling himself Law (to conveniently work with the name of his dog, Order) was put on the G.I. Joe team's security detail.
When not active on some mission or another, Christopher and Order saw to the security of the team's base, the third Pit installation, alongside Mutt and Junkyard. They filled this role for the duration of their time with the G.I. Joe team, only stopping in their duty when the team was disbanded back in '94.
What Christopher and his trusty canine decided to do with themselves at this point has yet to be revealed; they may've stayed on as M.P.s, or even returned to civilian police duties. However, when the Joe team was reinstated several years later, both Christopher and his dog, Order, answered the call.
They've presumably been with the team ever since!
