Known Powers:

Equipment:

Colt Python .357 Revolvers:
though skilled in most basic firearms, Alison prefers these classic, nickel-plated hand cannons. They can be fired to inflict damage as would any other +4 weapon per shot, though they have no high tech gimmicks like ported muzzles or laser sights; Alison has no need for such 'sissy' tools.

the Joe-Com *: this is a new device given to all Joes upon the group's reactivation. This high-tech wristband functions as an audio/video transceiver with an intensity 6 - 250 mile - range, is equipped with a G.P.S. system, a heart monitor, and can store up to a terabyte of raw data - not bad, eh?

Of course, this device also stores a variety of nutrients it can use to supplement activity, which are absorbed directly into one's pores (think of this as intensity 1 life support, where food is concerned). So, not only is the thing a nice, high tech video phone, but it can also save one's life in a pinch!

Knife: Alison always has one of these weapons handy on a mission, for you never know when you need to cut something. Made from strength 12 metals, this blade can be used to cut through items of like strength, and allows Alison to inflict +2 damage in melee if she must.

Spy Troops Disguise: making good use of her acting skills, Alison has been known to pull a perfect 'Baroness' impersonation in the past. Aided by this ready to use disguise, she can easily pose as that dastardly Cobra villainess in a pinch, in order to gain vital intelligence when needed.

* The Joe-Com is something that the Joes started using in their new (as of 2001) comic, but wasn't featured on the 2003 Lady Jaye action figure.

Hindrances:

(none)

Skills:

Boxing:
knowing that you can't always blast away with a hand cannon, Alison has learned rather well how to fight hand to hand. In melee, she can divide her pre-cardplay action score between two unarmed attacks, the last of which will occur as a contingent action.

(Cross)bows: in addition to learning how to use most firearms during her basic training, Alison has pursued training in the use of the reflex crossbow - quite possibly in some sort of urge to compete with Scarlett's crossbow use. When firing such weaponry, Alison does so at a reduced difficulty level.

Espionage: a graduate of the Intelligence School at Fort Holabird, Alison is well-versed in information gathering and surveillance operations. Whenever engaged in detective work or other spy-type missions, Alison should make applicable actions at a reduced difficulty level.

Marksmanship: as a part of her required basic training regimen, Alison learned how to use most standard Army firearms - even if she prefers her simple Colt revolver. When using standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic firearms, Alison may do so at a reduced difficulty level.

Military / United States: the source of the vast majority of her skills, this 'background' talent demonstrates Alison's inherent understanding of military protocols and procedures. In addition to providing her a convenient origin, per se, this skill allows Alison to lead fighting folk into battle if necessary.

Languages / Afghani, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, and Russian: a large part of Alison's intelligence training has involved her learning multiple languages, in order to better blend in on foreign soil. As such, she can speak, read, and write in all of these languages.

Martial Arts: supplementing her boxing skill rather nicely, this skill represents Alison's advanced melee abilities. This skill allows her to fight with either her Strength or Agility score (even when trumping), and also reduces the difficulty of actions meant to dodge attacks or lower falling damage.

Performer: before she became a major intelligence operative, Alison was quite an accomplished actress. She can easily adopt the body language, mannerisms, and even speech patterns of others, and can attempt an average difficulty Willpower (willpower) action to distract a body for one exchange.

Piloting: Alison is a fully competent and accredited pilot of single-engine, fixed wing aircraft - and could likely fly similar airplanes in a pinch, if necessary. While not actually a trained combat pilot, Alison can nonetheless fly most airplanes with ease, making any control actions at a reduced difficulty level.

Spears: since she uses so many of the things while in the course of a mission, Alison has learned how to wield these weapons rather competently. Whether she's brandishing it in melee at a body, or throwing it at someone (or something), Alison may do so at a reduced difficulty level.

Calling:

Soldier:
Alison has a no-nonsense nature about her while she's on the job that allows her true motivations to shine through. She does her job as a part of her duty to her country, to be sure, but Alison mostly strives to do her level best on a mission just to prove that she can, really.

Costume:

Alison's third field uniform is somewhat like her first. It includes a pair of green trousers, a long sleeved green shirt over a white T shirt, black leather gloves with cut-off fingers, brown leather boots, a brown leather belt, brown webbing, black knee pads, a black baseball cap, and a silvery necklace.

Personality:

Alison is a highly skilled actor, one who can easily blend in just about anywhere. She aims to excel at just about everything she does, whether it be acting, flying, or fighting - she's just very competitive. That may be why, for some reason, she just doesn't get along with anyone of the female persuasion.

Or not, it's hard to tell. Regardless, on the few occasions when she does let her guard down, Alison can be warm and friendly to those around her - especially those she works with on a regular basis.

Story:

The young woman that would become the G.I. Joe team's one and only Lady Jaye began her adult life with aspirations of a serious acting career, graduating from Bryn Mawr and receiving her graduate acting work at the Trinity college in Dublin - which accounts for the slight Gaelic lilt in her voice.

While she did indeed become an great actress, she wasn't destined for fame and stardom. You see, the Army is always on the lookout for people with her particular skills, and as such she was successfully recruited into their ranks, and then pushed into Intelligence School after her basic training was done.

The lady has proven to be more than effective in several spheres of talent, though, becoming highly proficient in more than a half dozen of languages, all kinds of intelligence operations, single engine, fixed wing aircraft piloting, and even the use of various odd weapons, such as crossbows and javelins.

A veritable jack of all trades that is in fact good at everything she puts her mind to, Alison proved to be quite a good fit for membership in the G.I. Joe team, though once she was placed in that anti-terrorist outfit, it quickly became apparent that Alison has a problem working with - or even dealing with - other women.

In fact, she's sort of caused a caustic working relationship to come about between herself and Scarlett from the day she entered the Joe team's headquarters, the Pit, though the two have at least come to terms over time; no longer actively hostile towards Scarlett, Alison can even be civil towards her at times.

At the same time, Alison was also put off by the loud, almost arrogant demeanor of another Joe who signed up with the team at same time - Flint. Naturally, though, the man was enamored with her, and he kept working on getting a date with the lady until she finally was able to see through his boisterous exterior.

After this, the two began a sort of on-again, off-again relationship, and wound up working on all kinds of missions together; it is unknown if this was done because of their status or simply because the two Joes do, in fact, have complementary talents that help them to accomplish most of their mission goals.

Either way, Alison doesn't let her personal life interfere with the job at hand, and as such has proven to be a true boon to the Joe team's intelligence-gathering mechanism; her acting skills, mastery of many languages, and sheer stubbornness have meant success for the Joe team time and time again.

She was present during all kinds of major G.I. Joe operations, including the battle of Springfield, the Cobra Island Civil War, an extended mission in Sierra Gordo and Borovia, the Battle of Benzheen, and plenty of still-classified, G.I. Joe 'special missions' vital to national security - some not even involving Cobra!

Alison served on the G.I. Joe team until it was deactivated in 1994, at which point she partially retired from the military, working as an advisor in intelligence circles for several years. During this time, she and Flint eventually tied the knot, and lived 'happily ever after' - at least until Cobra returned.

She was one of the first former Joes to volunteer to resume the fight against evil, alongside her new husband. Alison stuck with the team through thick and thin in their second war against that terrorist organization, and was around to see it crumble anew - though this was not a sign of good things to come.

While investigating lingering concerns regarding this latest fall of Cobra, the Joes stumbled across the existence of another terrorist group, this one calling itself the Red Shadows. During a Red Shadow attack on Flint, Alison tried to save her husband from Dela Eden, one of the chief Shadows, but died in the attempt.
