Equipment:
Grenade (i): because sometimes you just have to blow something up real good, Andrew always has at least one grenade on his person. He can chuck this explosive to inflict intensity 10 damage to any uncovered entity within near missile distance of where it detonates.
Grenade Launcher (i): should he encounter something that his M-16 can't dent, Andrew can blow it up with this one-shot weapon. This Light Anti-Tank Weapon can be an extreme detriment to enemy armor and personnel, and inflicts intensity 10 damage on contact.
Helmet (s): a handy precaution in the battle field, this head gear has managed to save Andrew's life on more than one occasion. It provides the man +2 protection from physical attacks that strike him in the head (assuming that they don't hit him in the face, of course).
Knife (s): you never know when your other hardware is going to fail you - or if you're going to need to cut something up. This is why Andrew always has a blade with him in the field. He can use it to inflict his Strength +2 damage in melee, or cut through stuff of up to m.s. 12.
M-16 Machine Gun (a): his primary combat implement, Andrew can use this to devastating effect in combat. It may be fired to inflict his Agility +4 damage in a single shot, his Agility +5 damage in a semi-automatic burst, or his Agility +6 damage when fired 'rock 'n roll'.
Semi-automatic Pistol (a): a backup should his other, more devastating hardware fail him in the field (it is produced by the lowest bidder, after all), Andrew always keeps this piece handy. He can use it to inflict his Strength +4 damage in a single shot, +5 in a short burst.
Hindrances:
(none)
Skills:
Boxing (s): one of those skills you always pick up in the military, Andrew has the ability to defend himself should he find himself without weaponry. He may divide his pre-cardplay action score between two unarmed attacks, the last of which occurs as a contingent action.
Marksmanship (a): another skill he picked up in Basic, Andrew is well-versed in the operation of most firearms. Whether they be standard, semi-automatic or fully automatic rifles or pistols, Andrew may use such guns at one difficulty level lower than is normally necessary.
Military / United States (w): the source of all his talents (though he had some in prototype before he enlisted), this skill serves both as an origin and as a paycheck for Andrew. It reflects his innate understanding of the S.O.P., as well as his advanced combat training.
Survival (w): an eagle scout as a youth, Andrew has always had the ability to get by when he finds himself without other people or hardware to support him - and the Army has only helped him in this regard. He can easily find enough food, water and shelter to get by in a pinch.
Calling:
Explorer: though many things can be said about Andrew, the truth is he's always looking for that glimmer of purpose, that reason for being. It's why he dropped out of college to begin with, and while he's found a home in the military, the man always has his eye out for new ideas.
Costume:
While active on the Gi Joe team, Andrew wears a two-toned, collared camouflage patterned green T-shirt, a two-toned, camouflage patterned pair of trousers, grass green webbing for his gear, a grass green belt, black and green two-tone boots, and a green and brown camouflaged helmet.
Personality:
Andrew is a very laid back individual. While he may lack ambition he definitely does not lack in drive; he usually excels in whatever he does, if he bothers to start something up. A friendly, relaxed fellow, Andrew tends to get along quite well with others, no matter how hostile they are.

Story:
Andrew is the kind of fellow that has always strived for purpose in life. He works hard at everything he does, but he doesn't always seem sure what he wants. He has been an Eagle scout, the captain of his high school track team and of course his high school Valedictorian.
He was riding a state scholarship to a degree in physical education when a switch flipped in his head, and Andrew just 'disappeared'. Wandering to the West Coast, Andrew grew 'quite weird' for several years, searching desperately for a purpose in life - finally realizing that he had none.
Deciding right then and there to change that, Andrew enlisted in the Army, and quickly became one of that service's most distinguished infantrymen. Trained in Fort Benning before receiving advanced training in jump school and desert warfare, Andrew was eventually recruited onto the Gi Joe team.
When he first arrived at the Pit, Andrew was pulled off by Wild Bill to help him pick up some cargo, a seemingly simple task that escalated into a full-blown conflict with the Crimson Guard and its leaders, Tomax and Xamot, during which Andrew put the Armadillo through its paces.
After this, Andrew went on to participate in a large number of missions against Cobra, including the Joe team's infamous invasion of Springfield. With his capabilities repeatedly on display, Andrew was chosen to join a special Gi Joe team, known as Slaughter's Marauders - led by the Sarge himself.
This squad of heavy hitters were designed as a sort of 'first wave' team of Joes to take on Cobra directly - even moreso than the Joes already did. He served in this capacity until the Joes were disbanded after a series of victories against those terrorist maniacs.
Of course they wouldn't stay down for long, and as such the Gi Joe team was quickly reactivated. Though not called on initially, Andrew was eventually pulled back into the fold when Cobra antics spiraled out of control, once again threatening to destroy the world in the process.
With their greatest attempt to conquer the world averted, Andrew presumably remains on the Gi Joe team to this very day, assisting in the capture of lingering Cobra fugitives, not to mention helping to improve world security while it rebuilds from the damage Cobra caused.
