the Silver Mirage
The Silver Mirage fills the role of an earlier, slightly antiquated piece of Gi Joe equipment, the R.A.M. A bit faster, and possessing more armaments, the Silver Mirage is a primarily silver motorcycle, with a green mortar launcher (on the side car) and green missiles scattered across the thing.
The Silver Mirage possesses these vehicular statistics and capabilities:
| C Gd 10 |
S Mn 75 |
B Ex 20 |
P Sh 0 |
AXJ-10 Ground Launch Missiles: these self-guided, 'fire and forget' miniature missiles are mounted on both sides of the Silver Mirage. Either the driver or passenger can fire them if need be, since you never know when you won't have someone in the sidecar... These rockets have the following statistics:
| C Ex 20 |
S Mn 75 |
B Ex 20 |
Damage Rm 30 Edged Attack |
Bullet-Resistant Molded Windshield: while the Silver Mirage offers its driver and passenger no overall Protection, per se, it does have at least a small amount of defense against attack - if you're the driver. This windshield offers the driver Excellent (20) protection from frontal attacks only.
Communications Array: the Silver Mirage is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system, allowing for constant team communications. This makes for Typical (6) comm power (with a 250 mile range) that has Remarkable (30) ranked signal encryption.
Mortar Launcher: the primary armament on the Silver Mirage, this front-facing weapon is an actual self-loading mortar, having a ten round ammunition drum. These impressive rounds can be fired to inflict Incredible (40) Edged Attack damage per shot - though they can only hit what's right in front of the cycle.
Quartz-Halogen Heated Lights: these are heavy duty, impressively warm bulbs that can be used to light up an area in front of the Silver Mirage with Excellent (20) illumination. Furthermore, the heat they generate is enough to quickly burn off mud and other impediments to forward vision.
