the Dreadnok Air Assault Gyro Copter
While Cobra usually has seasoned helicopter combatants at the joystick of their F.A.N.G.s, the truth is that this mini-copter is relatively easy to fly, when you get down to it. As such, it was no surprise that the Dreadnoks 'borrowed' a few
Repainting them and taking them out for a joy ride now and then, the Dreadnoks refer to these as their 'Air Assault' Gyro Copters, though most self-respecting Cobras know better. The Air Assault Gyro Copters have these abilities:
85mm Rapid Fire Cannon (a): the primary armament on the Gyro Copter, this rather large firearm is located on a front-mounted 'bubble turret', allowing a 45 degree horizontal/vertical swing. It can be fired to inflict damage per a +5 weapon in a short burst, +6 in a stream of sustained fire.
Flight (a): naturally the primary use for this vehicle, the Gyro Copter is capable of flying at pretty decent speeds - and for quite awhile, too. It can fly at up to intensity 6 air speeds (195 m.p.h.), and may do so for up to 550 miles before it must land for a refueling.
Heat-Seeking Air to Air Rockets (i): the secondary armament on the Gyro Copter, these four missiles can be used to inflict considerable damage to other airborne vessels in its vicinity. These missiles track a target by its heat signature, and inflict intensity 10 damage to whatever they hit.
As well as anything else within striking (near missile) distance.
Passengers: while the Gyro Copter is mostly a one-man (or one-woman, depending) aircraft, it can haul additional folks in a pinch - though the ride is somewhat uncomfortable. You see, in order to hitch a ride on a Gyro Copter, one must stand on its landing skids and hang on tight...
