the Persuader

A highly advanced vehicle, the Persuader is a ten-wheeled ride that has an immense laser cannon mounted on top - along with a secondary cannon for its driver to deal with personnel. This rather futuristic Gi Joe vehicle has the following vehicular capabilities:

AGT Engine / Generator (i): this 1200 HP engine generates the power the Persuader needs to move, as well as the massive electrical power needed to operate its laser weaponry. Thanks to this engine, the Persuader can move with intensity 3 Lightning Speed (75 m.p.h.).

Body Armor (s): in addition to its deflection-based shape, the Persuader itself is built rugged and to last. The vehicle itself has an effective m.s. of 10, for the purpose of taking damage (and inflicting it, as it can while ramming targets with its pushbar).

Communications Gear (i): the Persuader is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system. This makes for intensity 6 communications power (with a 250 mile range) that has intensity 10 signal encryption.

Dart Missiles (i): the Persuader has a complement of six SAM-37 surface to air missiles, mounted on the rear of the vehicle. These missiles inflict intensity 10 damage when fired singly, though they add +1 to the damage inflicted for each additional missile fired.

Deflection (i): the Persuader is built with defense in mind. It has a highly angular body, with deflective slopes covering most of it and the turret. This causes most attacks against the vehicle to suffer a -2 to hit, though passengers hanging on aren't quite so lucky...

Front Pushbar (s): this reinforced, tubular pushbar allows the Persuader to ram objects as though its m.s. were +4 higher than listed above, as well as push powerless vehicles or objects, without suffering any real damage to its own frame in the process.

Heatwave Laser Cannon (a): the primary weapon of the Persuader is this 10 megawatt laser cannon. Built to pierce armor (above and beyond most laser weaponry), the Heatwave cannon can inflict the gunner's Agility +9 energy damage with each terrifying blast.

Monopulse Laser Cannon (a): the secondary weapon on the Persuader, this cannon rests under the primary vehicle weapon. It can be swiveled side to side in order for the Persuader's driver to pick off smaller targets. It can inflict the driver's Agility +5 damage with each blast.

Passengers: the Persuader is equipped with emergency passenger space in a pinch. Two people can cling to the sides if they need a ride, for a total of six people on board (when you include the driver and the person manning the main laser turret).

Pinpoint Targeter (i): this laser reflective targeting mechanism, mounted on top of the Persuader's Heatwave cannon turret, allows the operator of said weapon to fire with, well, pinpoint precision. The Persuader's gunner may fire this weapon at a +2 to hit.

Xenon Headlamps: these high-intensity headlights allow the driver of the Persuader to move effortlessly at night. They cast intensity 8 illumination at whatever is right in front of the Persuader, and can be used as a blinding attack (with surprise).
