the Equalizer
After stripping the turret off an old Mauler for use in its new vehicle, the Lynx, the Slaughter's Marauders made use of the remaining tank body, mainly by adding an enormous missile launcher system where the turret was formerly mounted. The resulting Equalizer has these vehicular characteristics:
Anti-Personnel Charges (i): scattered about the Equalizer are several shaped charges rigged to explode should someone be foolish enough to try and hop on (assuming they're armed). If enemy personnel set these off, they will suffer intensity 10 damage - at point blank range!
Armored Hull (s): the Equalizer's 57 ton frame is built from a 60 layer, titanium alloy / micro-mesh bonded hull. Giving it considerable durability, this construction provides the Equalizer an effective m.s. of 15 and provides its occupants +4 armor, making it extremely difficult to defeat in battle.
Armored Side-Skirts (s): these steel plates offer the treads of the Equalizer the vehicle's armor bonus; however, they don't totally shield the things from enemy fire, so a called shot will hit them normally (they do, however, have a material strength of 12 all by themselves).
Communications Array (i): the Equalizer is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system, allowing for constant team communications. This makes for intensity 8 comm power (with a 2,500 mile range) that has intensity 10 signal encryption.
Diesel Engine (a): the Equalizer is equipped with a 12 cylinder, twin-supercharged diesel engine. Providing it 1800 HP, it allows the 57 ton vehicle move with intensity 3 Lightning Speed (65 m.p.h.) on the road, though only intensity 2 (37 m.p.h.) off-road.
Dual-Pulsing Machine Guns (a): mounted on the Equalizer's launcher, these twinned anti-lock machine guns can be fired in a short burst to inflict the gunner's Agility +6 damage, +7 damage in a full auto spread, adding +1 if both are fired in tandem (in either mode).
Gear Cases (s): the Equalizer has, spread about it, various cases filled with useful gear. It has a fully stocked first aid kit, tool kit, and a small case for its pilots' arms and ammo, should the Equalizer get disabled and its occupants have to fight it out directly.
Optical Targeting System (w): the mammoth MXZ-105 mm Earthquake cannon on the Equalizer is assisted by a powerful target acquisition system. This holographic system gives the tank gunner a 3-D view of his target and environs, allowing him a +1 to hit with the Earthquake cannon.
Radar Suite (w): the Equalizer is armed with an early-warning radar system, enhanced with sonic and infra red detectors. These serve to warn its operators of threats before they become critical, and help them to lock on to said threats with their missile launchers with intensity 8 ability.
Smoke Dispensers (a): the Equalizer is equipped with special smoke emitters that cause it and the area it occupies to be filled with an obscuring white smoke. This acts to defeat optical enemy targeting systems (or simple human opponents) with intensity 5 ability.
Surface to Air Missile Launcher (i): the Equalizer is armed with a large bank of missiles which it can launch at airborne targets. They inflict intensity 10 damage when fired singly, adding a +1 to said damage for each additional missile fired at a single target (to a maximum of 15).
