the Tiger Sting

A revamping (heh) of the Mark 2 model of V.A.M.P. vehicle, the Tiger Sting is a late addition to the so-called Tiger Force's arsenal of refurbished G.I. Joe (and captured Cobra) vehicles. Other than giving it a primarily yellow color scheme (one with black tiger striping), it retains these capabilities:

Communications Suite: the Tiger Sting is equipped with a radio transceiver system, allowing the driver to send battle-field data to a central command, and then receive new orders in turn. This functions at Typical (6) rank, and has a maximum range of about 100 miles.

First Aid Kit: nestled within the outer wall of the passenger compartment on the Tiger Sting lies a fully stocked first aid kit, should the Tiger Sting's driver (or passengers) have a sudden need of emergency treatment. It has everything one needs to administer medical aid in the field.

Halogen Lamps: the Tiger Sting's headlights are quartz-halogen bulbs that can illuminate an area with Remarkable (30) ability. They are equipped with an electrical defrost capability, allowing them to cook ice and muck clean off of them in the event that this is necessary; this takes one round.

Missile Launcher: this swivel-mounted, mobile missile silo can be loaded with a total of four Stinger XK2 missiles. These ground to ground (or ground to air), computer guided high speed missiles are capable of inflicting Incredible (40) Edged Attack damage per strike, and have these missile abilities:

Roll-Cage: while the Tiger Sting doesn't actually offer it's driver or passenger (it seats two comfortably) any protection, in a game mechanics sense, its roll-cage allows for Excellent (20) protection from collision or incidental damage in the event that the Tiger Sting experiences a roll or crash.

Self-Sealing Gas Cans: these bizarre gas cans have an intermediate layer between the gas and the can itself, a layer of material that immediately seals the can in the event that it is punctured (or shot), preventing a loss of fuel or explosion.

Specialty Tires: these extremely expensive tires are of the off-road, self-sealing variety, and can withstand up to Remarkable (30) damage before being disabled. Also, these are flotation tires, allowing the Tiger Sting to even drive on water for short, short periods of time (about two turns) before it sinks.

Winch: this front-mounted, heavy-duty instrument allows the Tiger Sting to pull any manner of vehicles, objects, or people around. It can effectively do this with Remarkable (30) strength, allowing it to move a maximum weight of one ton before the high tensile strength wire cable will snap.
