Equipment:
Knife (s): a handy tool to have should you need to cut something - or someone - in the field, Everett always keeps this blade handy. Built from m.s. 12 materials, it can cut through items of like m.s... or be used to inflict Everett's Strength +2 damage in melee combat.
Machine Guns (a): later in his career, Everett began to carry some heavier hand cannons with him while fighting Cobra. He can fire either of these guns to inflict his Agility +5 damage in a short, semi-auto burst, or his Agility +6 damage if he opens them up 'full auto'.
Missile Launcher (i): loaded up with anti-aircraft missiles, this launcher is Everett's direct, personal answer to airborne enemy targets. Heat seeking for a +2 to hit on mechanical targets, Everett's missiles inflict intensity 10 damage to all within near-missile range of where they hit.
Semi-automatic Pistol (a): Everett always carries a side-arm with him while on duty, and often while he's not; you never know when you'll need to fend off Cobra goons, after all. He can fire this weapon to inflict his Agility +4 damage in a single shot, +5 in a semi-auto spread.
the U.S.S. Flagg (i): his pride and joy, this aircraft carrier is Everett's command. Armed with a massive array of defensive weaponry, not to mention a small arsenal of fighter jets, the U.S.S. Flagg serves as a mobile base for the Gi Joe team, and is described in its own vehicular entry.
Hindrances:
(none)
Skills:
Aerial Combat (a): an accomplished fighter pilot, Everett can skillfully engage in combat while airborne - preferably in a more advanced aircraft than his old F-4. When attempting to fight in aerial battle, Everett may attempt all attacks at one difficulty level lower than is usually necessary.
Boating (a): as a product of the United States Navy, and a high ranking officer in that organization, Everett naturally has the ability to operate most water-based vehicles should he be fored to pilot them directly. When doing so, Everett makes applicable actions at a reduced difficulty.
Boxing (s): a skill everyone picks up during their initial training in the Navy, Everett can handily defend himself should he find himself without weaponry. He may divide his pre-cardplay action score between two unarmed attacks, the last of which occurs as a contingent action.
History (i): Everett is a scholar of military history, believing the best way to avoid the mistakes of the past are to know them intimately. As such, whenever confronted with a matter of history involving the military (both ours and others), his Rsn should be considered +1 CS in rank.
Marksmanship (a): a skill everyone learns in the Navy, Everett has mastered the use of most conventional firearms. Whether he's packing a standard, semi-automatic or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Everett may fire such weapons at one difficulty level lower than is normally required.
Military / United States (w): a Vice-Admiral of the United States Navy, Everett has this skill as a general matter of course; it is both an origin and a calling for him. He is intimately familiar with the S.O.P., and can readily lead fighting men and women into battle as is necessary.
Piloting (a): advanced training and experience in the Navy has helped Everett master the fine art of flying most standard airplanes. Though he hasn't shown ability with a helicopter, he can operate most fixed and swing-wing aircraft at one difficulty level lower than is typically required.
Calling:
Soldier, with a secondary calling of Explorer: Everett loves his career in the Navy, appreciating the opportunity to defend his country from its enemies. He's a thoughtful, analytical fellow though, and is usually studying both friend and foe while doing so.
Costume:
Everett's second Gi Joe uniform is a modified version of his original. It includes dark green trousers, a brown collared T-shirt beneath a blue leather jacket, black leather boots and gloves, brown belts and holsters for his sidearm, and of course his black and white Admiral's cap.
Personality:
Everett is a smart and aggressive man, known to be both a military historian and a master chess player. He likes to analyze a situation but does not hesitate to act when necessary - even if it means placing himself in considerable risk to defend those he's responsible for.

Story:
Everett grew up in Virginia with an itch to join the Navy, and indulged it as soon as he could get away with it. He excelled at most everything he did while in training, and even managed to graduate from both Annapolis and the Navy Flight School, proving his skills even more.
Originally serving as a Navy pilot, Everett has flown several aircraft in his time, including F-4 Phantoms off the U.S.S. Intrepid. Having attended the Navy War College and the Armed Forces Staff College, Everett had the education and martial accomplishments needed to 'go places'.
Imagine his surprise when the powers that be offered him his own ship - his own aircraft carrier, even! Unable to pass up such an opportunity, Everett gladly accepted this commission, though it wouldn't be an ordinary one. No, his ship would serve as a mobile base for the Gi Joe team!
This highly trained, special missions force is a covert operation that pulls its members from all branches of the military, and were primarily tasked with keeping the terrorist organization known as Cobra from getting away with their mad schemes - though they did face other terrorists now and then.
Glad to help defend his country in a more direct fashion, Everett does everything he can to help the Joes in the execution of their duties, and has been made a member of their team - they can always use a man with his skills and temperament, after all.
And he's always glad to show the team just what he can do. Whether it involves getting them where they need to be or hopping into the cockpit of a fighter jet when no one else is around to handle the job, Everett goes out of his way to protect his ship and his fellow Joes!
