the Blockbuster

The Blockbuster is a large, 6WD snow and ice vehicle the Gi Joe team first rolled out in 1994. It is armed with a massive dual pom-pom launcher (which is, in fact, most of the vehicle) along with additional cannons and four (count 'em) front-mounted Gatling cannons.

Windchill is usually the operator of the Blockbuster, which has these vehicular characteristics:

Anti-aircraft Guns (a): the Blockbuster carries two of these, one mounted on each side. Each of these twinned cannons can be fired to 'dissuade' enemy aircraft or to merely flatten them, as they inflict their operator's Agility +6 damage in a short burst, +7 in a full-auto spread.

Body Armor (s): the whole of the Blockbuster is reinforced, from its all-terrain monster truck tires to its armored canopy cover. This vehicle is tough, having an overall m.s. of 13, and provides its occupants +3 body armor (those not hanging on outside, at least).

Communications Array (i): the Blockbuster is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system. This makes for intensity 6 communications power (with a 250 mile range) that has intensity 10 signal encryption.

Gatling Cannons (a): the front of the Blockbuster is armed with four linked Gatling cannons, allowing it to chew up most anything. These guns fire at once to inflict their operator's Agility +8 damage in a short burst, raised to his Agility +9 damage in a fully automatic spread.

Lightning Speed (a): the Joes' Blockbuster is rather fast for its size. It can move at around 75 miles per hour given decent terrain (intensity 3 lightning speed), reduced to a maximum of 60 miles per hour (intensity 2) on rougher terrain. Like hills of tundra...

Passengers: the rather large Blockbuster fits a whole lot of Joes. It can hold two within its armored canopy (a driver and a gunner), a secondary gunner can sit next to the pom-pom cannons, and two each may hang on outside on each side and on the rear.

Pom-pom Cannons (i): the rear of the Blockbuster is dominated by two large cannons. This dual-fire weapon can launch two projectiles in tandem, which together will strike a foe to inflict intensity 12 damage, raised +1 if both strike a foe simultaneously.
