the Hoverstrike

The Hoverstrike is a relatively small, wedge-shaped green hovercraft the Gi Joe team can use to combat Cobra in almost any environment, on land or sea! It is propelled on a cushion of air by two large vectored turbo fans situated aside the craft's one-man piloting platform.

Of course, what is a Gi Joe vehicle without missile launchers! The Hoverstrike has two of these, one mounted in front of each of its vectored propulsion fans, and carries a large amount of reloads if the pilot (usually Mirage) finds the time. The Hoverstrike has these vehicular characteristics:

Body Armor: the frame of the Hoverstrike is constructed from rank value 30 strength materials, giving it an effective m.v. of rank value 20. Its skirts are a bit less durable however, only possessing a m.v. of 10, though they're rather rugged overall.

Communications Array: the Hoverstrike is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system, allowing for constant team communications. This makes for rank value 20 comm power (with a 100 mile range) that has rank value 30 signal encryption.

Missile Launchers: though it lacks actual guns, the Hoverstrike is equipped with not one, but two missile launchers - each in front of one of its vectored thrust fans. These launchers can be fired simultaneously to inflict +1 RS damage, as compared to the below:

Propulsion: the Hoverstrike floats a short distance over the ground, and can move in any direction on the surface thanks to its vectored turbo fans. It can glide along the water at rank value 6 speeds (40.91 m.p.h.), though ground travel is slightly slower (value 4 speed, or 27.27 m.p.h.).
