the Joe-Com (i): this is a new device given to all Joes since the group's reactivation. This high-tech wristband functions as an audio/video transceiver with various other goodies built in to help a soldier on the go, and is described in greater detail in its own equipment entry.
Naginata (s): Kimi's weapon of choice, she can wield this double bladed, staff-like weapon with ease. A two handed weapon, Kimi can use her naginatas to inflict her Strength +4 in either blunt or edged damage, depending on if she hits with the flat of her blades or the edges.
Shuriken (a): because sometimes you need just a bit of range, Kimi usually has at least two shuriken on her person at any given time. She can fling these short, disc-like weapons to inflict her Strength +2 in lethal damage, easily hitting targets within near missile range.
Swords (s): while she prefers her naginata, Kimi can also wield her swords in a fight effectively as well. She can use these two shorter sword blades to inflict her Strength +3 damage with every deadly strike - and can actually handle two of them at once!

Skills:
Acrobatics (a): possessing a grace almost unheard of, Kimi is able to move in an almost flowing fashion. A world class acrobat, she gains an autotrump when attempting actions to reduce falling damage and to dodge attacks - no to mention walking tight ropes...
Boxing (s): more than just a competent hand to hand combatant, Kimi excels in fighting unarmed. She can divide her pre-cardplay action score between two unarmed attacks, the second of which will occur as a contingent action.
Climbing (s): Kimi can ascend and descend vertical surfaces as if she were a natural-born mountain climber. She can receive a reduced difficulty on any climbing attempts (in either an up or down direction), with added bonuses when she has climbing equipment handy.
Dual Weapons (s): Kimi has trained extensively in the art of wielding two weapons simultaneously. She can do this with swords or with a naginata broken in half, and can divide her pre-cardplay action score between two such attacks, the last of which occurs as a contingent action.
Espionage (i): after her original stint with the military, Kimi worked for the C.I.A. for a short while. During this time, she acquired additional skills in intelligence matters, and should receive a reduced difficulty in matters of information extraction.
Languages / English and Japanese (i): officially, Kimi worked as a translator for both the Army and the C.I.A., though of course she had other duties for both government agencies. Nonetheless, she can read, write and speak in both of these languages with ease.
Marksmanship (a): though she doesn't need it, nor does she ever use it, Kimi has been trained in the art of gunplay by the Army. She may fire any standard, semi-automatic or fully automatic rifle or pistol at one difficulty level lower than is normally required.
Martial Arts (a): Kimi is a ninja! She can resolve unarmed melee attacks with either her Strength or Agility (her choice at the time), and may attempt maneuvers to reduce falling damage or to catch thrown weapons at a reduced difficulty level.
Martial Arts Weapons (s): it may not be much of a surprise, but as a ninja Kimi has trained extensively in the use of various weapons with origins in the Orient. She may use such weapons, including crossbows, kris, katana, sais, shuriken, and even washizashi at a reduced difficulty.
Military / United States (w): after returning to America upon the dissolution of the Arashikage ninja clan, Kimi enlisted in the Army. As such, she knows the S.O.P. in an almost instinctual manner, and can easily integrate herself into a martial environment when necessary.
Thievery (a): once again, Kimi is a ninja! While she's not criminally minded per se, she can definitely skulk around with the best of them. She should receive a reduced difficulty when attempting to hide, blend in, open locks, or pick pockets.
Calling:
Soldier, with a secondary calling of Peace of Mind: Jinx does what she does because she's always trying to be the best she can possibly be - which can be hard sometimes, when everybody's going out of their way to assume that she's just not good enough...
Costume:
Kimi Tiger Force uniform is like her first: conspicuous. It includes a loose fitting pair of green trousers with yellow tiger stripes, a loose-fitting, long sleeved green robe with yellow tiger stripes and a dragon emblem over the left breast, soft green shoes, a yellow belt, and a green hood.
Personality:
Kimi is one of the nicest, most outgoing people you're ever likely to meet. Why, you'd hardly ever guess she was one of the single most deadly people on earth today. Though highly skilled in the lethal arts, Kimi does not bring them to bear unless absolutely necessary.

Story:
Kimi comes from a long line of Arashikage ninjas, martial artists of the highest caliber. Though her parents were completely with the clan, they felt it a good idea to move to America for reasons unknown, and Kimi spent her early childhood unaware of her heritage.
Of course, this all changed when upon her seventh birthday, her family returned to Japan for a time. Once she was told what her history was, Kimi decided to follow the family traditions, and excelled in multiple martial arts styles throughout her high school years.
Upon her graduation from high school, Kimi was brought into the Arashikage clan as a full member, and continued her training at their ninja compound in Japan until calamity - wrought by Cobra - broke the clan up. Kimi then returned to the States to continue her career.
In addition to spending time training with the Arashikage Blind Master, Kimi also served time in the United States Army, and it is believed that she spent at least a little bit of time working for the C.I.A. This continued until she was recruited onto the Gi Joe team by Hawk.
Kimi proved her capabilities time and time again with the Joes, either on her own or when working with her various teammates. She has shown that in addition to being an incredibly deadly combatant, her infiltration and espionage skills are second to none.
She has served on several of the Gi Joe group's 'special teams' in her day, including its Ninja Force (alongside several other members of the Arashikage clan, including her cousin Storm Shadow) and its Tiger Force, both of which prove just how useful the Joes find her.
When the Joes were deactivated for a time, Kimi moved to Japan again, and began a bounty hunter and bail bondsman business with fellow Joe and romantic interest Budo - even though their diametrically opposed disciplines causes them tension now and then.
Although the Gi Joe team has since been reactivated, Kimi has chosen to stay in the land of her birth, though she's more than happy to lend a hand to the team whenever they need her experience. This happens more often than not, with Cobra occasionally up to no good in Japan.
When she's not helping the Joes though, she's rounding up all manner of criminals with Budo, and the two have a reputation for being very, very good at what they do. But then they are former Joes, as well as master martial artists, so what else did you expect?
