the Split Fire

Engineering challenge! Imagine you have the job of taking an ordinary pickup truck design, and weaponizing it as much as is physically possible. Once you've completed this exercise, you might come up with something that resembles the Gi Joe Split Fire.

On the most casual inspection, it looks like an ordinary pickup truck. Of course, then there's the two seated gun stations behind the cab, and the missile launchers hidden next to the headlights. And it still has a whole lot of open bed cargo space!

The Split Fire has these vehicular characteristics:

Body Armor: the frame of the Split Fire is built tough - possibly Ford ™ tough! It possesses an effective m.s. of Excellent (20), which only offers its cab's occupants -2 CS protection from attack (it lacks doors, after all, exposing them to harm more).

Communications Array: the Split Fire is equipped with a gigahertz frequency, frequency wobbler clandestine operations radio system, allowing for constant team communications. This provides Excellent (20) comm power (a 100 mile range) with Remarkable (30) ranked signal encryption.

Headlights: the front of the Split Fire is graced with several xenon lamps - and those that aren't disguised missile launchers even work! Overall, the Split Fire can pump out Excellent (20) illumination, enough to fill an area at night or blind foes in a surprise attack.

Machine Guns: each side of the Split Fire has a gun station mounted on, just behind the cab. These must be operated by individual gunners to be fired, and come equipped with a compact seat for just such a purpose; they are not controlled by those inside the cab.

These oversized guns can be fired to inflict Excellent (20) Shooting damage in a short burst, raised to Remarkable (30) Shooting damage in a continuous hail of lead. If both gunners concentrate their fire on a singular target, they can boost their output (of either type) by +1 CS.

Missile Launchers: the Split Fire has two missile launchers, one hidden next to each headlight. These projectiles inflict the damage listed below, and behave as their statistics dictate, but can increase their damage by +1 CS if both are fired simultaneously:

Passengers: as a modified pickup truck, the Split Fire can hold a bunch of folk. Its cab seats two comfortably, and it has two gunner stations - one on each side. Furthermore, several additional Joes can fit in the open bed cargo space if it's unused!

Winch: this front-mounted, heavy-duty instrument allows the Split Fire to pull any manner of vehicles, objects, or people around. It can effectively do this with Incredible (40) strength, allowing it to move a maximum weight of ten tons before the high tensile strength wire cable will snap.
