the Venom Striker

Cobra liked the Gi Joe team's Assault Quad so much that they stole the designs for it! Using them, they concocted the Venom Striker, which is functionally the same under the hood. Thus, it is a lightweight (1,500 lbs) all-terrain, four wheel drive, with a 230 mile range.

Mind you, that's not all Cobra's technician did. No, they also replaced the Quad's box missile launcher with a powerful, four-barreled laser turret, which a secondary operator can fire to devastating effect. The Venom Striker has these vehicular characteristics:

* The Venom Striker has a road speed of 85 m.p.h., limited to 60 m.p.h. (Gd 10 Speed) off-road.

Communications Suite: the Venom Striker is equipped with a radio transceiver system, allowing the driver to send battle-field data to a central command, and then receive new orders in turn. This functions at Excellent (20) rank, and has a maximum range of about 100 miles.

Grill Missile Launcher: the Venom Striker's sole missile launcher, this projectile system is concealed beneath the vehicle's grill. This launcher can fire a single, short-range incendiary missile at the driver's target, which inflicts SD Energy damage. This missile has these statistics:

Halogen Lamps: the Venom Striker's headlights are quartz-halogen bulbs that can illuminate an area with Excellent (20) ability. In addition to being able to brighten up one's ride, they can also be used in a pinch to launch a surprise, blinding attack under the right circumstances...

Laser Cannon: this powerful weapon is situated on a rear-mounted turret, and operated by a second Cobra. It emits four continuous beams of energy which combine on their target to inflict Remarkable (30) Armor Piercing Energy damage with each deadly attack!

Machine Gun: mounted on the front left side of the Striker is a small, rotary barrel machine gun. This weapon can be used to fire a short burst of ammunition which inflicts Good (10) Shooting damage, or a sustained stream of fire that increases this damage to Excellent (20).
