the Tiger Storm Copter
The Gi Joe team's Missile Storm Copter is a vehicle that they built after considerable 'study' (read: reverse engineering) of the Mark 3 Cobra F.A.N.G. It uses a lot of the same components, though the electronics are produced by more 'friendly' parties, of course.
While the craft essentially flies the same, the Joes modified it somewhat in armaments, in that the Missile Storm replaces the optional bombs with a secondary, side-mounted machine gun. The Missile Storm comes in a dark green camouflage pattern.
The Gi Joe team's Tiger Storm Copter, on the other hand, has a tan camouflage pattern painted across it, but is otherwise identical. It has these vehicular characteristics:
| C Gd 10 |
S Rm 30 |
B Ex 20 |
P Sh 0 |
Flight: naturally the primary use for this vehicle, the Tiger Storm Copter autogyro is capable of flying at pretty decent speeds - and for quite awhile, too. It can fly at up to Remarkable (30) air speeds (225 m.p.h.), and may do so for up to 600 miles before it must land for a refueling.
Heat-Seeking Air to Air Rockets: the secondary armament on the Tiger Storm Copter, this bottom-mounted missile can be used to inflict considerable damage to other airborne vessels in its vicinity. It tracks a target by its heat signature, and is possessed of these vehicular statistics:
| C Ex 20 |
S Am 50 |
B Ex 20 |
Damage Remarkable (30) Edged Attack |
Machine Guns: the main weapon on the Tiger Storm Copter is its twinned, rotary-barreled cannons, mounted on the front of the craft. It can fire a short burst of lead to inflict Excellent (20) Shooting damage, raised to Remarkable (30) Shooting damage in a stream of sustained fire.
Side Gun: the Tiger Storm Copter also has a left side-mounted gun, which always faces forward. It can only hit whatever is directly in front of the craft (as opposed to the front-mounted cannons, which can be swiveled about 45 degrees). The side gun otherwise functions the same.
