the Tigerhawk

Something of an answer to Cobra's Firebat 'crotch rocket' micro-jets, the Tigerhawk is a similarly designed Gi Joe vehicle. This one-man aircraft primarily consists of a jet engine, folding wings (as if it weren't already compact enough for storage), and a cockpit barely large enough for the pilot.

Oh, and its weapons, of course. Furthermore, the Tigerhawk was available to the Gi Joe team in two camouflaged color schemes, depending on the mission profile they were used for: gray and brown. The Tigerhawk is equipped with the following vehicular characteristics:

Handling
RV 10
Velocity
RV 100
Durability
RV 20
Protection
RV 10

Bombs: on the bottom of the Tigerhawk, on each side of the cockpit, are bomb mounts. The Tigerhawk can drop one of these at a time to inflict rank value 40 Slashing (fragmentary) damage on whatever lies below, raised by +1 RS if both are used simultaneously.

Communications Array: the Tigerhawk is equipped with an extremely powerful, gigahertz-frequency, frequency-wobbler radio system. This makes for rank value 40 communications power (with a 1,000 mile range) that has rank value 30 signal encryption - not bad at all, that.

Flight: its primary function, the Tigerhawk is an aircraft. This vehicle is designed to fly - and to fly fast! About half of it is engine, while the rest is wing surfaces. This allows the Tigerhawk to reach speeds that are just shy of the speed of sound (681.81 m.p.h., or rank value 150 flight).

Missile Launchers: the bottom edges of the Tigerhawk's wings are equipped with missile launchers, each of which carries two projectiles. These can be fired one at a time or all at once, adding a +1 RS to the below damage for each doubling of mini-missiles launched:

Handling
RV 20
Velocity
RV 100
Durability
RV 10
Damage
RV 20 Slashing (fragmentary)

Radar Array: the Tigerhawk depends on both passive and active radar systems to pinpoint the movement of aircraft (friendly and otherwise) in the air. When fully active, its radar can detect targets with rank value 10 ability, functioning within a 50 mile range.

Twinned Machine Guns: there are two linked, rotary-barrel machine guns mounted on the Tigerhawk, one on each side of the cockpit. These can be fired (always in tandem) to inflict rank value 30 Piercing damage in a short burst, raised +1 RS if fired in a sustained burst of lead.
