the Desert Coyote

Looking at the Desert Coyote, it's hard not to imagine a weaponized go-kart. And that's essentially what a Desert Coyote is - it's built in the same general shape, albeit one with a rear gunner station and a launcher on the side. The Desert Coyote has a m.s. of 8 and these characteristics:

Communications Suite (i): the Desert Coyote is equipped with an advanced radio transceiver system, allowing the operator to send battle-field data to a central command, and then receive new orders in turn. This functions at intensity 4, and has a maximum range of about 25 miles.

Driver's Cannon (a): mounted on the front of the Desert Coyote is a small machine gun - it rests over the steering wheel, in fact. It can be fired to inflict the driver's Agility +4 damage in a short burst, or his Agility +5 damage when fired full-auto.

Gunner Station (a): the Desert Coyote has a slightly extended rear bumper with a cage around it, allowing one Joe to hang on desperately to the rear of the vehicle and man its top-mounted gun. And this weapon is no joke, for it's a full-on heavy machine gun mount.

It can be fired in a short burst to inflict the gunner's Agility +6 damage, raised to his Agility +7 damage in a fully automatic hail of lead. This is more than enough to give most infantry pause, as the Desert Coyote can usually carry a whole lot of ammunition...

Launcher (i): finally, the Desert Coyote has a one-shot missile pod mounted on its left side. The vehicle doesn't have room for a reload, so its operator has to save it for the optimum usage (depending on the situation). It inflicts intensity 10 fragmentary damage to its target.

Lightning Speed (a): the Desert Coyote is pretty spry. The thing can move at intensity 3 speeds (around 75 miles per hour) on level ground, reduced to around 45 miles per hour (intensity 2 speeds) on less agreeable terrain (off-road).
