the Conquest X-30 The Conquest X-30 is a powerful, experimental fighter jet first put into use in '86. The curious, forward-swept wing design of the Conquest is a truly distinctive feature, both for the look and due to the fact that, technically, it shouldn't be able to fly (but can thanks to revolutionary computer-assisted controls). The Conquest has an effective material strength of 10, and a maximum operating radius of 1,200 miles (six hundred out, and six hundred back) - when fitted with two under-wing, 300 gallon fuel tanks, at least. The Conquest has the following vehicular capabilities: Advanced Computer-Aided Control (i): the Conquest, as stated above, shouldn't be able to fly according to standard aeronautics science. However, it is equipped with extremely powerful, computer-assisted control surfaces, which not only enable the Conquest to fly, but provides its pilot a +1 to all flight actions. AIM-12 Light Sparrow Air to Air Missiles (i): the Conquest X-30 has four of these deadly missiles when fully loaded, which its pilot can use to strike opponents who are out of the range of its cannons. These laser-guided anti-aircraft rockets inflict intensity 12 damage to whatever they hit. They do like damage to all within striking (near missile) distance of their impact zone. Blast-Proof Tilt-Back Canopy (s): the Conquest's cockpit has been enhanced by this canopy, one that is made from strength 14 materials. This transparent marvel allows the Conquest to offer its pilot the full benefit of its material strength, which significantly increases the odds of his survival in a dogfight. Double-Blast 25mm Twin Cannons (a): these twin cannons can be fired separately or in tandem. If one cannon is fired at an opponent, it will inflict armor piercing (-2 vs defense) damage per a +5 weapon , while dual fire boosts this deadly damage to +6. This powerful weapon can chew up even the mightiest of aircraft. Flight (a): its basic purpose for existing, the Conquest X-30 can fly - and rather fast. Possessing this technological power at intensity 12, thanks to its 26 thousand pound thrust turbofan engines, the Conquest can fly at Mach 2.42, making it very, very fast indeed. Radio Frequency Array (w): the Conquest can use RF signals for two purposes: to communicate with an airfield (or aircraft carrier) with intensity 6 range (500 miles, give or take), and to track both opponents and the terrain with a powerful, 'Bogey' threat sensor, one that functions with intensity 10 effectiveness. the Conquest X-30 (reissue) Shortly after the Joe team was reinstated, they pulled their remaining fleet of Conquests out of mothballs, and modernized them somewhat. While they were given the G.I. Joe camo pattern, as opposed to the Conquest's original, white paint job (with black fins), these Conquests function the same as the old ones.
