Known Powers:

Equipment:

Helmet:
a part of his standard flight suit, this helmet provides Victor +2 protection against physical and energy attacks aimed at his head (assuming a face shot isn't involved). Its goggles offer him intensity 10 protected senses (sight), and it has a built-in microphone as well.

This microphone usually ties into whatever aircraft he's currently flying.

Semi-Automatic Pistol: while he may be a combat helicopter pilot, Victor knows that he may somehow get dislodged from his aircraft, and thus carries this piece with him on missions. He can use this pistol to inflict damage per a +4 weapon in a single shot, +5 in a semi-auto hail of lead.

Tomahawk: sometimes it's hard to picture Victor without one of these heavily armed transport / rescue helicopters, as he's served at the stick of one for most of his time as a G.I. Joe - and the team has made use of them for quite a few years. Check out this vehicle's very own description.

Hindrances:

(none)

Skills:

Aerial Combat:
while he can fly a chopper or airplane, a significant part of Victor's Warrant Officer Flight School training involved learning how to fight in such a vehicle. In any airborne combat maneuvers, Victor may make any applicable actions at one difficulty level lower than is usually required.

Boxing: trained in the use of unarmed combat should he find himself without the benefit of his Tomahawk - or any other engine of destruction - Victor can attempt two unarmed melee attacks, whether it be a punch, kick, head butt, knee smash, or whatever, though the second will occur as a contingent action.

Marksmanship: a part of his basic training, Victor has become well-versed in the use of firearms - mostly those of American make, but a few more on top of that, just in case. Whether he's using a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Victor may do so at a reduced difficulty level.

Military / United States: the military has been good to Victor, allowing him to learn all of his other skills - at no charge, really! In addition to knowing American military protocols and procedures like the back of his hand, this skill also accounts for his other, exceptional training.

Piloting: his primary job on the Joe team, Victor is naturally adept in the operation of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft; while he can fly a plane, though, he's truly at home behind the stick of a helicopter. When operating any such vehicles, he may make flight actions at a reduced difficulty level.

Calling:

Soldier:
though he joined the Army as a means to an end, Victor has found it to be a highly rewarding way of life, what with the free training, the sense of accomplishment, and of course the active defense of liberty and freedom against the forces of tyranny and evil - usually meaning Cobra, of course.

Costume:

On the job, Victor wears a green pair of trousers with red knee-pads attached, a tan flight jacket with green sleeves and red shoulder pads, black leather boots, black leather gloves, a black leather belt, black pouches and holsters for his gear, and a distinctive red flight helmet (with attached goggles).

Personality:

Victor has been described as skillful, persistent, and lucky. He's an unexpectedly bright fellow who enjoys what he does - and is real good at it. He's happy to be in the Army as it allows him to both learn a viable trade and serve his country at the same time - and he gets to see the world too - that never hurts.

Story:

Victor was like a whole lot of kids who joined the Army, in that he was doing so simply to get away from his home town - and fast. The difference between Victor and all these other kids, though, is that he's pretty darn sharp when you get down to it - he scored extremely well on the Army aptitude tests.

He did so well, in fact, that he qualified for West Point Prep, the Officer's Candidate School, and the Warrant Officer's Flight School. With all these choices before him, Victor then showed how smart he really was by choosing the last of the three - it was the only one that offered training applicable to civilian life.

Arriving in flight school, Victor was well-trained in the operation of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft piloting, and quickly proved just how well he handles such craft under pressure. His continual excellent performance got him noticed by G.I. Joe team recruiters, and they snatched Victor up quick.

Though the Joes already had a competent helicopter pilot in Wild Bill, the team was experiencing growing pains almost every year, and Victor was more than welcome in the Joes' ranks. In fact, on his very first mission, he got to fly his trademark Tomahawk helicopter in the team's assault on Springfield.

The Tomahawk is a rescue and transport helicopter - albeit a heavily armed one - that Victor felt right at home in, and he's used it during his fair share of G.I. Joe operations against the terrorist organization known as Cobra. When not piloting a Tomahawk, though, Victor often co-pilots the Joe's C-130 with Wild Bill.

Victor worked for the Joe team in both capacities until its untimely dissolution back in '94, and his activities during the time the Joe team was out of commission are as of yet unrevealed. However, he readily returned to the Joe team when it was recommissioned just a scant few years later.

Victor remains on the G.I. Joe team to this very day!
