the Sky S.H.A.R.C.
The Sky S.H.A.R.C. - or Submersible High-Speed Attack and Reconnaissance Craft - is a true marvel of military engineering. It is essentially a flying submarine, a submersible craft that can move from water to air at the drop of a hat. This incredibly advanced, one man vehicle has the following vehicular capabilities:
Armor Plating: the Sky S.H.A.R.C. has boron epoxy plating on top of a basic titanium frame, along with an impact resistant tinted gull wing canopy. This heavy duty construction gives the Sky S.H.A.R.C. an effective material strength of 10, which provides its pilot an effective armor equal to his or her Strength +2.
Flight: the Sky S.H.A.R.C. is able to transition from water to air operation via extendable hydrofoil legs, which allow for high speed acceleration capable of letting it go airborne. When in the air, the Sky S.H.A.R.C. has a maximum flight speed of 830 miles per hour (intensity 10 flight), with a maximum range of 450 nautical miles.
Honeywell Mark 46 Acoustic Homing Torpedoes: under each wing of the Sky S.H.A.R.C. lies one of it's heavy hitters. Each of these torpedoes homes in on its target, chosen by the pilot's targeting computer, via advanced acoustic homing devices. These torpedoes inflict intensity 12 fragmentary damage to whatever they strike.
Invisibility to Radar: the Sky Patrol Sky S.H.A.R.C.s have been fitted with a new, chromium-based technology that allows them to deflect radar signals at oblique angles as opposed to sending them back to their source, effectively making them invisible to radar systems with intensity 15 ability.
Life Support / Air: the Sky S.H.A.R.C. can provide enough breathable air for its pilot to function for extended periods of time underwater. This power functions at intensity 15, allowing the Sky S.H.A.R.C. to support its driver for up to four days, assuming he has enough food and water to last that long.
Swimming: when it's on (or under) the surface of the water, the Sky S.H.A.R.C. can move with respectable speed. It has a rating of 25 knots, giving it this power by default at intensity 2. This translates into approximately 30 miles per hour (for those of you land lubbers that don't know their knots).
Tungsten Main Running Light: in the nose, below the cockpit proper, lies the Sky S.H.A.R.C.'s main source of undersea illumination. This powerful tungsten lamp provides intensity 10 illumination, and allows its pilot to attempt a surprise blinding attack if his or her opponent does not have a tinted canopy (like the Sky S.H.A.R.C.).
Twin 30mm "Tidalwave" Cannons: the Sky S.H.A.R.C. has one twinned pop-up, 30mm cannon on each wing. These cannons can each be fired to inflict the pilot's Agility +5 damage in a short burst, or his Agility +6 in a full auto spread. Of course both can be fired at once for an additional +1 to either rating listed here.
Water / Atmosphere Analyzers: the Sky S.H.A.R.C. has some basic sensor systems housed in the nose cone, which allow it to measure the temperature and direction of currents and/or air flow of the environment around it. These sensors can also be programmed to detect specific compounds if needed. These sensors work with intensity 8 ability.
