G.I. Joe's 1997 Personnel

Ace - Classic Style! Ace: a gambler through and through, Brad likes nothing more than a good poker game - hence his code name. However, the name is fitting in two aspects, as Brad is also the Joe team's crack fighter pilot, who's downed more Cobra jets than you can shake a stick at! Ace comes in Classic and Saga styles! Ace - Saga Style!

Breaker - Classic Style! Breaker: Alvin was schooled in at least seven languages and the operation of most NATO communications gear. Despite his lack of combat experience, and being one of the youngest men to ever become a Joe, Alvin repeatedly proved his worth as the Joes' communications officer. Breaker comes in Classic and Saga styles! Breaker - Saga Style!

Duke - Classic Style! Duke: before being recruited onto the Joe team, Conrad had a history of working in Special Ops, and brought that sneaky expertise to the team as its field leader. Second only to Hawk in the team's leadership, Duke has consistently led the Joes to victory against Cobra over the years! Duke comes in Classic and Saga styles! Duke - Saga Style!

General Hawk - Classic Style! General Hawk: head of the G.I. Joe team since its inception in '82, Clayton has proven time and time again that he's a capable leader, tactician, and victor in the seemingly eternal war against the terrorist outfit (and occasional sovereign state) known to the world as Cobra. General Hawk comes in Classic and Saga styles! General Hawk - Saga Style!

Grunt - Classic Style! Grunt: after his enthusiasm helped him to graduate near the top of his class in his Advanced Infantry Training, Robert made quite a name for himself as an expert soldier in general. As such, he made the cut for the original G.I. Joe team, and returns from time to time to help them out. Grunt comes in Classic and Saga styles! Grunt - Saga Style!

Gung-Ho - Classic Style! Gung-Ho: one of the roughest and gruffest folk you'll ever meet, Ettienne was born and raised in a swamp. After joining the Marines, he proved himself time and time again, and has shown the same level of achievement as a long-standing member of the G.I. Joe team! Gung-Ho comes in Classic and Saga styles! Gung-Ho - Saga Style!

Rock 'n Roll - Classic Style! Rock 'n Roll: the team's original heavy machine gunner, Craig was born in beautiful Malibu, California. He eventually grew up and joined the Army, hoping to make the world a better place, and found that membership in the G.I. Joe team offers him the ability to do just that. Rock 'n Roll comes in Classic and Saga styles! Rock 'n Roll - Saga Style!

Scarlett - Classic Style! Scarlett: having trained as a martial artist since she was nine years old, and then being put through more 'dirty tricks' training in the Army, Shana makes for an excellent Joe. Her combat prowess and ability to gain intelligence on Cobra operations is second to none! Scarlett comes in Classic and Saga styles! Scarlett - Saga Style!

Short-Fuze - Classic Style! Short-Fuze: coming from two previous generations of Army guys, it was only natural that Eric would join with the Army himself. His natural mathematical capabilities made him a demon with a mortar, a skill which made him a candidate for the new G.I. Joe team! Short-Fuze comes in Classic and Saga styles! Short-Fuze - Saga Style!

Stalker - Classic Style! Stalker: though he started out as an urban warlord in Detroit, Lonzo cleaned up his act and joined the Army, only to become one of its very best operatives - and one of the first Joes. A qualified Ranger, helicopter pilot, and field medic, Lonzo is an invaluable G.I. Joe operative! Stalker comes in Classic and Saga styles! Stalker - Saga Style!

Torpedo - Classic Style! Torpedo: a diving instructor and triple black belt before enlisting, Edward made his way through the Navy with ease, and became a full-fledged S.E.A.L. in no time. As the Joe team's first Navy representative, Edward went out of his way to prove himself - as his performance shows. Torpedo comes in Classic and Saga styles! Torpedo - Saga Style!

Zap - Classic Style! Zap: a New York City native, Rafael was raised in awe of the gigantic structures around him. He joined the Army to get the education he needed to take part in the construction of such buildings, and became an engineer of sorts - he now knows how to best take buildings apart! Zap comes in Classic and Saga styles! Zap - Saga Style!

Arctic Mission Team:

Blizzard - Classic Style! Blizzard: Gregory is tough because he has to be, for he knows that with his job as a cold weather soldier - much less the instructor of other like soldiers - he will become a statistic if he goes easy on himself... and his charges will as well, if he goes easy on them. Blizzard comes in Classic and Saga styles! Blizzard - Saga Style!

Iceberg - Classic Style! Iceberg: growing up amidst the intense heat of the Brownsville, Texas summers, Clifton decided that he wanted to serve in a much colder climate upon enlisting in the Army. He found his element once he was assigned to Alaska, and quickly became one with his frozen environs. Iceberg comes in Classic and Saga styles! Iceberg - Saga Style!

Snow Job - Classic Style! Snow Job: an olympic contender, Harlan decided that he needed the best training that he could get - for cheap - and that such training could only come from of the Army. Expecting him to compete, you can imagine how unhappy they were when he accepted a job with the G.I. Joe team! Snow Job comes in Classic and Saga styles! Snow Job - Saga Style!

Commando Team:

Lady Jaye - Classic Style! Lady Jaye: a competent actress even before she was recruited by the U.S. Army, Alison became a master of espionage with the tutelage of Army master intelligence operatives. She's also a master of several obscure weapons, a master linguist, and a competent pilot! Lady Jaye comes in Classic and Saga styles! Lady Jaye - Saga Style!

Snake-Eyes - Classic Style! Snake-Eyes: a singularly mysterious man, the commando known only as Snake-Eyes has experienced nothing but tragedy in his life. However, he's persevered through the years, and become a true force to be reckoned with - as would any other patriotic ninja master! Snake-Eyes comes in Classic and Saga styles! Snake-Eyes - Saga Style!

Storm Shadow - Classic Style! Storm Shadow: Tommy didn't start out with a life of international terrorism in mind - at least, not until Cobra Commander meddled in his affairs. Having finally put all that behind him, Tommy is now working for the Joes, and performs various intelligence duties for the group. Storm Shadow comes in Classic and Saga styles! Storm Shadow - Saga Style!
