Powers:

Lightning Speed:
Susana's power is her ability to run (and otherwise move) at really great speeds; she has the power to run at approximately intensity 7 ground speed (105 m.p.h.). She can perform actions at a comparable rate of speed, but it's just comparable. Running is her forte.

Equipment:

Helmet:
Susana has communications gear inside her helmet, gear that allows her to keep in touch with Babel with intensity 5 range - 100 miles. It can send and receive audio transmissions, can transmit video to a waiting command center, and provides her head +1 protection from attack.

Hindrances:

(none)

Skills:

Boxing:
Susana has been well trained in the art of unarmed melee combat by the Medusa Web. As such, she can divide her pre-cardplay action score between two such attacks, the last of which will occur as a contingent action. These attacks are, of course, made at a lower difficulty level.

Languages / Spanish and English: Susana speaks fluent Spanish, being from Chile, but she is believed to be able to at least speak broken English, as do most of the Medusa Web's international members. This has never been demonstrated, of course, but it is quite likely.

Martial Arts: enhancing her considerable boxing skill, this talent allows Susana to make unarmed melee attacks with her Agility instead of her Strength (including trumps). Furthermore, it lowers the difficulty of attempts to reduce falling damage or to catch weapons thrown at her.

Calling:

Protector:
from what limited accounts are available regarding Susana, it would appear that she'd set herself up as a local heroine back in Chile before she'd been recruited into the Medusa Web. It's hard to say what carrot Babel dangled before her, but it likely appealed to her urge to protect others from harm.

Costume:

Susana uses a heroic costume, since she's earned the love of her people. She wears green stretch fabric pants with white racing stripes down the sides, an orange vest, orange gloves, orange boots, and a white helmet (with yellow lightning bolt) with a big ol' visor. The visor is a glass shield covering her entire face.

Personality:

It's hard to gauge Susana's basic personality, as she was only active for one issue before her untimely death. What she did portray was the silently efficient mercenary, though this may not have been entirely accurate. However, her teammates seem to have held her in exceptionally high regard.

Story:

Not a whole lot was known about the paranormal speedster known as Relampago, other than her first name is Susana, and the fact that she became a cult hero in her native Chile after developing her powers. Soon after she became well known, she was recruited into the Medusa Web.

She was yet another of their super human operatives for a time, until she was accidentally killed by Anastasia Inyushin. Susana was beating up on her when she and the Medusa Web cornered half of Psi-Force in the Horton Plaza, down in San Diego.

Anastasia kept healing herself as soon as she was hit, however, so Susana couldn't take her down. Fleeing from the super fast merc, the psionic healer pulled on a line of X-mas wires to trip Susana up; this had a more drastic effect than Anastasia could have guessed.

Moving at her usual, great speed, Susana tripped on the line of lights, not seeing them, and fell down hard. She rolled and broke her neck, pretty much dying instantaneously. Of course, the force of this tripping sliced Anastasia's fingers off, which is probably little consolation for the dead Susana...
