Johnny Do: Heatseeker F A S E R I P Res Pop Ty 6 Gd 10 Pr 4 Ex 20 Ty 6 Pr 4 Gd 10 Ex 20 Ty -5 Health: 40 Karma: 20 Origin: Johnny is a paranormal, a sort of altered human who gained his powers during the White Event, a bizarre astronomical phenomenon that forever set the New Universe apart from our standard, mundane reality. His pyrokinetic powers are psionic in nature. Known Powers: Natural Psi Powers (psikinetic) Energy Generation (a): Johnny's natural psionic power is the ability to generate flames. He can do this by psionically igniting air molecules around him. He can generate fire with Incredible (40) ability, inflicting similar SD En damage with each fiery attack. Energy Control (t): Johnny can manipulate the shape of the flames he generates, and likely other flames as well, at Excellent (20) rank. He can use this energy to produce an energy shield as well, providing himself the following protection from attack: -1 CS / -0 CS / -4 CS / -6 CS / -8 CS Flight (t): While his energy shield is active, Johnny Do can fly - more or less. He does so rather slowly, but he can do it. He flies at Feeble (1) speeds, or 15 m.p.h.; this is actually more like levitation than telekinesis, but since he can move horizontally if he feels like it, there you go. Equipment: (none) Quirks: Illiteracy: Johnny Do cannot read. Heck, he can barely even SPEAK. He can understand basic English and Russian, but he can't communicate very well on his own. This may change with time, what with him getting proper care these days, but only time will tell. Talents: (none) Contacts: Johnny is a member of Psi-Force, and can probably rely on any team member for whatever help he could need. The Medusa Web should also be considered a reliable contact, as they went to great lengths to recruit the Psi-Force, and would not like to lose them. Costume: Johnny isn't really into the covert, subversive style of adventuring that his team-mates favor. While in action, he simply wears a black pair of pants, a black 'muscle' shirt with a stylized red hawk on the front, a red headband, and of course, a pair of sneakers. Personality: For most of his life, Johnny Do has been in mental institutions, thanks to the Soviet government. With his eventual liberation at the hands of Psi-Force and the Medusa Web, Johnny's started to evolve as a person, and sees Psi-Force as his family. Real Name: unknown Occupation: vigilante, former test subject Legal Status: U.S.S.R. citizen wanted by most authorities Marital Status: single Alias(es), if any: Dehman Doosha ("the Demon Within"), Heatseeker Group Affiliation: Psi-Force, the Medusa Web Height: 5' 2" Hair: sandy blond Eyes: blue Weight: 95 lbs. Other Distinguishing Characteristics: none Story: Johnny Do lived in Russian mental institutions for most of his life, until the White Event, where he manifested powerful fire generation abilities. He was then shipped out to the Siberian Project, where the Soviets began studying his powers. Their ultimate goal was to add Johnny to a Soviet paranormal hit squad, called Crasniye Solleetsi (translated as 'Red Sun' in English). However, his limited mental state was a deterrent to this goal, and the Siberian Project scientists took to binding Johnny in an asbestos suit to keep him under control. However, they let him loose so he could participate in Red Sun's quashing of the Afghanistani rebellion against Soviet rule. Of course, he went absolutely wild upon being set free, and Red Sun had to put him down in addition to the rebels, and drug him back to the Project. Once back, he was about to be lobotomized (he kept burning things uncontrollably), when Thomas Boyd, a recent Project capture, discovered his presence and scheduled fate. Not liking this idea, he went to save Johnny, and he took charge of his care. Boyd began to bring the child back to life, mentally speaking, trying to give him the desire to learn how to take care of himself. He did this until the Medusa Web broke Psi-Force out of the Project, and Johnny Do followed his newfound 'father' to freedom. Of course, the paranormals had to defeat Rodstvow, first. Johnny Do joined Psi-Force, the Medusa Web, Justice, and Red Sun (what was left of them, anyway) to do this, and after a grim battle, the mad Russian was finally defeated. After this mess, Psi-Force journeyed to France, and joined up with the Medusa Web on a contract basis. They continued working for the subversive organization through the War (which was the 'end' of the New Universe line of comics).
