Origin:
Michael is a paranormal, a sort of altered human who gained his powers during the White Event, an incident that set the New Universe apart from standard reality. His powers are psionic in nature.
Known Powers:
Natural Psi Powers (Psikinetic)
Psychokinesis (a): Michael can cause the potential energy of any matter to instantly change into kinetic energy, resulting in the explosion of said matter. He can do this at Incredible (40) rank. Inanimate targets will be destroyed if they fail a breaking FEAT versus this intensity.
Similarly, living targets are allowed an End (res) FEAT roll versus this power rank to resist. If this fails, they'll take power rank damage. Micheal used to also have to make a targeting roll with this power, but he has since mastered the use of this power, and no longer has to do this.
Trained Psi Powers (Superpsi)
Gestalt (a): Michael can combine his psychic essence with the rest of Psi-Force's, in order to manifest the Psi-Hawk, their combined Gestalt form. This entity was apparently slain by the Russian paranormal known as Rodstvow, but I am assuming the team can still form it.
Equipment:
Survival Gear: after hooking up with the Web, Michael would naturally begin carrying around lots of survival gear, including several guns and knives (weapons he can use to inflict Good (10) Shooting or Edged Attack damage (depending on the weapon). He also carries spare rations and assorted wilderness tools.
Quirks:
Nerd: Let's face it, Crawley's a nerd. He's into science and scientific stuff to the exclusion of all else. This tends to put others off, as they can barely relate to him.
Sensory Decrease / Sight x3: Crawley has extremely bad vision, and has a -3 CS to all Int (alt) FEAT rolls made without his glasses. Mind you, they're a tempting target in a fight...
Talents:
Computers: after he was eventually reunited with Psi-Force, Michael was trained by the Medusa Web in computer programming techniques; he makes computer FEATs at +1 CS.
Detective / Espionage: the Medusa Web also trained Michael in surveillance techniques. He can easily keep an eye on a body without them knowing it, and makes fact-finding FEAT rolls at +1 CS.
Guns: as he eventually rejoined Psi-Force, it is assumed Michael received proper training in the use of firearms, in order to back up his power (should he be unable to use it). He uses guns at +1 CS.
Knives: Michael was probably also trained in the use of knives, in the event that his powers (or any guns he were using) failed him - even if he's not a combative person whatsoever.
Martial Arts A, B, and E: more than anything else, the ability to defend himself has been drilled into Crawley, as he's been primarily non-combative his whole life; he may make use of these fighting styles.
Military: yet another aspect of the training that Michael likely received was basic military strategy. This, combined with his other considerable skills, makes him quite a dangerous young man...
Crawley is more than knowledgable in the areas of Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
Contacts:
Michael Crawley can rely on both Psi-Force and the various folks in the Clinic (from D.P. 7) for aid, should he need to. He could also ask for help from Eugene Proudhawk, the brother of Psi-Force's former mentor Emmett. It is assumed that, since he eventually rejoined Psi-Force, that Michael can count the Medusa Web as a reliable contact as well.
Costume:
Black pants, black leather jacket with stylized red hawk head on front.
Personality:
As is sort of described above, Michael is sort of a 'spaz', as he loves scientific things with a zeal most people cannot comprehend. However, he is quickly maturing, and is slowly developing into quite a brave little guy.

Story:
Michael Crawley was always without a family, his dad having died when he was a baby, and his mom being put in an insane asylum soon after. He floated about orphanages and foster homes for years, until the day of the White Event.
Crawley developed his psychokinesis power soon after, and ran away from home at the mental prompting of Emmett Proudhawk. He eventually made his way to San Francisco, where the rogue C.I.A. agent was collecting psionic folks inadvertently endangered by his work.
Soon after they met, Proudhawk was killed, though he showed the teens how to form the Psi-Hawk before his death at the hands of the Soviet psi known as Mindwolf. Crawley stayed with the other psis, having nowhere else to go, and feeling compelled to do so or some reason.
Crawley stayed with the Psi-Force until Thomas Boyd joined the group, and the team found out that the Psi-Hawk was extremely dangerous when more than five people generate it. He decided it was best that he leave them, and made for parts unknown.
He eventually ended up at the Clinic, a place built to help paranormal beings with nowhere else to go. He stayed there until the place was destroyed in a battle with local police. While this confict raged, Michael fled the facility with Scuzz (of D.P.7) and several other youthful paranormals.
These youths wandered the country for a time, jokingly calling themselves the D.D. Teens, until they were involved in a nasty car wreck while fleeing from the authorities (they were caught stealing food from a grocery store). Though several of the kids were killed in this wreck, Michael (and Scuzz) survived.
While Scuzz eventually made his way to New York City, only to join a White Eventist cult, Michael found his way back to Psi-Force, and presumably joined up with the Medusa Web as well. This was implied in the last issue of Psi-Force, though it has yet to be shown in comic-dom...
