Origin:

Sedara is a paranormal, a sort of altered human who gained her powers during the White Event, an incident that set the New Universe apart from standard reality. Her powers are psionic in nature.

Known Powers:

Natural Psi Powers (psimotive):

Dimensional Aperture (a):
a variant of the standard version of the power, Sedara can use this art to make portals to any location she's ever been to, with Incredible (40) ability. This power isn't limited by the standard teleportational ranges at all.

Interestingly, if a telepath shares a location they have in mind with Sedara, she can also make a portal to that location, as well. She makes the power FEAT to do this at -2 CS, but she can do it...

Dimensional Shunt (a): Sedara also has a specialized form of this art that allows her to produce two-dimensional 'blades' of energy, blades that she can use to inflict Incredible (40) Armor Ignoring (AI) Edged Attack damage per extremely deadly strike.

Equipment:

Sedara typically carries several pistols and knives on her person at all times. She has that offensive Dimensional Shunting ability, but she carries these things on her person just in case her powers fail her.

Quirks:

(none)

Talents:

Computers:
recruited into the Medusa Web by Psi-Force, Sedara has presumably gained their basic training package, which includes the ability to use and program computers; she makes FEATS in this area at +1 CS.

Detective / Espionage: also, while her personal style is rather direct, Sedara has learned how to tail and surveil a target, able to do so as if her Intuition score were +1 CS in rank.

Guns: Sedara is rather adept at gun use, having needed to use them for several years against Soviet soldiers, and makes attacks with any gun at her Agility +1 CS.

Languages / English and Afghanistani: Sedara has learned how to speak both of these languages, out of necessity - the former thanks to the American mercenaries she's worked with in the past.

Survival: Sedara can also scrounge up food and water if she should need to, as long as something is reasonably available - any foraging FEATS should be made at +1 CS to the applicable ability score.

Military: like the rest of Psi-Force (who didn't already have it), Sedara received basic military training by the Medusa Web (with Martial Arts type A and B talents, of course).

Weapon / Knives: Sedara can use these weapons as both a melee and a throwing weapon, doing so as if the applicable ability score were +1 CS in rank.

Contacts:

As a member of Psi-Force, Sedara can probably rely on any team member for whatever help she could need. The Medusa Web should also be considered a reliable contact, as they went to great lengths to recruit the Psi-Force, and would not like to lose them.

Costume:

Black pants, black leather jacket with stylized red hawk on front, black hood, gray gloves.

Personality:

Little is truly known about Sedara Bakut, as she only appeared in one issue of Psi-Force -- the last one. However, she was shown to be a rather brave and honorable warrior in that issue, fighting for what she believed in.

Story:

Sedara Bakut was a member of the Mujahedin freedom fighters, a small army dedicated to removing the Soviets that had conquered their land from it. She fought with them for several years, at a very young age, watching most of her relatives die, one by one.

She was present on a fateful mission to destroy a Soviet arms shipment to Iran, when it was ambushed -- a traitor in their camp had revealed the group's plan. Most of the freedom fighters died, but Sedara managed to transport the survivors to safety.

Later, she returned to the Soviet base holding the arms, in order to learn who the traitor was, when she encountered Psi-Force. They were also there to destroy those arms, as well as to recruit Sedara into Psi-Force, on the behalf of the Medusa Web, if possible.

Sedara joined up with the vigilantes, helping them destroy the place, and took them back to their camp, where Psi-Force helped to identify the traitor in their group: Sedara's own father. After killing him, Sedara decided she'd had enough of war, and left the country with Psi-Force.

Sedara remained with Psi-Force for some time afterward, helping them to make the world a better place, and furthering the Medusa Web's goals...
