Known Powers:
Cybertronian Physique: like his fellow Autobots, Heavy Load is a robotic entity of Cybertronian design and origin. As such, this graceful warrior has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives Heavy Load these super human powers:
* Body Armor: like most Cybertronians, Heavy Load was built (or formed) with a reinforced steel frame, one that offers him +4 resistance to injury. This makes him immune to most basic human attack forms, and exceptionally resistant to his fellow robots (taking his Strength into consideration).
* Enhanced Senses / Microscopic + Telescopic Vision: all Transformers can alter their visual sensitivity as is necessary, where distance is concerned. Functioning at intensity 2, these powers let them see objects up to a mile distant with ease, as well as allowing them to read items on microfiche.
* Invulnerability to Disease and Toxins: like all robots, Heavy Load is highly resistant to diseases and poisons that would kill organic beings. He possesses complete immunity to organic pathogens, and a 'mere' +10 resistance to other, more chemically creative substances.
* Radio Transceiver: as are most all Transformers on earth, Heavy Load is equipped with an audio / video transmission system. This communications rig allows him instant contact with any other Autobot on the planet, having intensity 10 power (25,000 mile range).
* Size Alteration: most Cybertronians have some degree of control over their size, no matter what form they take. Due to his significant height in his humanoid mode, Heavy Load has this power via technicality; he may very well grow somewhat while transforming, but doesn't appear to do so.
This power is bound in Heavy Load's case by the Growth Only and Permanent limitations, meaning that Heavy Load is always 14 foot tall in his humanoid mode. Due to his size, Heavy Load possesses this power at intensity 4, and while it's permanent, the requisite Strength and Agility changes are not applied.
This since his foes often vary in size considerably; Predacons and Decepticons aren't all die-cast from the same mold. For simplicity's sake, one could just apply those alterations and call it a day, or he may go for accuracy and vary them based on the size of his current opponent; whichever works for your game.
Chomper Bucket: when he transforms into his humanoid mode, Heavy Load's 'cargo' area is reborn as a deadly, giant claw mechanism. He can use this devastating weapon to either grapple or inflict slashing damage as per a +4 weapon - making it highly effective against even the largest of foes.
Digging: Heavy Load can use this power either by himself or in tandem with the rest of the Build Team. If tunneling solo, Heavy Load may do so at intensity 4 speeds, but if all four members of the Build Team work together, they can dig through the earth with intensity 8 skill.
Gestalt: as a member of the Autobot Build Team, Heavy Load can merge with his fellows in order to form the mighty Landfill. This intensity 15 power allows him to join with Wedge in one of three possible configurations - serving as either of Landfill's legs or both of his arms.
Headlights: to better emulate earthen vehicles (and since they come in handy in the dark), most automotive Transformers on earth are equipped with a set of convenient headlights. These twin lamps can be used to generate intensity 8 illumination, making driving at night no problem.
Shapeshifting: whenever he desires, Heavy Load can transform between his humanoid and dump truck mode, and often does so quickly in battle to maximize the use of his abilities. This power is voice-activated, however ("Heavy Load, Transform!"). He's somewhat quick in his dump truck mode.
Consider Heavy Load to be moving as though he had intensity 4 lightning speed in his automotive form.

Skills:
Architecture: as are the other members of the Build Team, Heavy Load is a competent engineer, able to build any item or structure he needs to, thanks to his advanced Cybertronian knowledge. He can resolve actions required while building something at a reduced difficulty level.
Boxing: highly skilled in the fine art of personal combat, Heavy Load has mastered various martial techniques. As such, he can resolve unarmed melee attacks at a reduced difficulty level, and may divide his pre-cardplay action score between two unarmed melee attacks.
Martial Arts: in addition to his talent with boxing, Heavy Load is well-versed in the martial arts proper. He can resolve unarmed attacks with either his Strength or Agility (even when trumping), and can lower the difficulty of actions meant to dodge attacks or catch weapons thrown at his person.
Natural Weapons: supplementing his extensive martial arts prowess, this skill describes Heavy Load's prowess with his one and only personal weapon, his Chomper Bucket. When using this device to grapple or dismember a foe, he may do so at a reduced difficulty level.
Calling:
Mentor: while he's a competent combatant in his own right, Heavy Load prefers to function as a teacher, passing his considerable knowledge along to others. This is why he hooked up with the Autobots in the first place, not to mention the Build Team - Wedge needs a LOT of mentoring.
Likeness:
In his vehicular configuration, Heavy Load appears to be a simple, mundane dump truck - a yellow dump truck, at that. However, when he transforms into his humanoid mode, Heavy Load appears to be a large, yellow and silver robot built from various bits and pieces of a dump truck.
Personality:
Loyal to a fault, the cheerful Heavy Load has devoted himself to Wedge's service. He acts as the young Autobot's personal assistant, and would lay down his very life for Wedge if necessary. He also sees himself as a mentor of sorts, and does his best to teach his charge everything he knows.

Story:
Many details about Heavy Load's origins are somewhat murky, but it is known that, some time ago, he met and befriended the young Autobot known as Wedge. Though incredibly young, this Cybertronian architect was possessed of inexhaustible energy and drive, and Heavy Load thought him destined for greatness.
As such, Heavy Load devoted himself to Wedge's cause, and has become his personal assistant in all matters. He is instructing the youthful Autobot in everything he knows, hoping to make him a master of the martial arts like himself; of course, Heavy Load tends to be Wedge's voice of reason more often than not.
At any rate, when Wedge came to earth at Optimus Prime's request, Heavy Load was right behind him in the transport, and has helped him in his mission to wire up the whole planet with space bridge technology, technology that allows the Autobots to drive virtually anywhere on earth in mere minutes.
Wedge eventually wished to join the various battles that the other Autobots were fighting on earth, however, and hoping to keep him out of harm's way, Heavy Load (along with the other members of the Build Team) naturally accompanied him into the fray, though their first fight on earth was a bit... messy.
Though Wedge wound up in more trouble than he could handle, Heavy Load managed to trick the Predacons and Decepticons menacing him into getting themselves out of the picture. After this, he and the rest of the Build Team have shown up repeatedly to foil Megatron's sinister plots.
Of course, the war between the Autobots and Megatron's flunkies was eventually won, and the Autobots were no longer needed on earth. As such, it fell to the Build Team to dismantle all of the Autobot technology scattered about the earth, so it may be some time before Heavy Load finally leaves our world...!
