Cybertronian Physique: like his fellow Autobots, Storm Jet is a robotic entity of Cybertronian design and origin. As such, this high-flying combatant has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives Storm Jet these super human powers:

* Body Armor (s): like most Cybertronians, Storm Jet was built (or formed) with a reinforced steel frame, one that offers him +2 resistance to injury. This makes him immune to most basic human attack forms, and moderately resistant to his fellow robots (taking his Strength into consideration).

* Growth (a): most Cybertronians have a degree of control over their size, no matter their form. Due to his significant height in his humanoid mode, Storm Jet has this power via technicality; he may very well grow somewhat while transforming, but doesn't appear to do so.

This power is bound in Storm Jet's case by the Permanent limitation, meaning that Storm Jet is always 18 foot tall in his humanoid mode. Due to his size, Storm Jet possesses this power at intensity 4, and while it's permanent, the requisite Strength and Agility changes are not applied.

This since his foes often vary in size considerably; the Autobots are not all die-cast from the same mold. For the sake of simplicity, one could just apply those alterations and call it a day, or he may go for accuracy and vary them based on the size of his current opponent; whichever works for your game.

* Invulnerability to Disease and Toxins (s): like all robots, Storm Jet is highly resistant to diseases and poisons that would kill organic beings. He possesses complete immunity to organic pathogens, and a 'mere' +10 resistance to other, more chemically creative substances.

* Microscopic + Telescopic Vision (w): all Transformers can alter their visual sensitivity where distance is concerned. Functioning at intensity 2, these powers let them see objects up to a mile distant with ease, as well as allowing them to read items on microfiche.

* Radio Transceiver (i): as are most all Transformers on earth, Storm Jet is equipped with an audio / video transmission system. This communications rig allows him instant contact with any other Cybertronian on earth, having intensity 10 power (25,000 mile range).

Flight / Levitation (a): in his vehicle mode, Storm Jet can fly about at rather high speeds, doing so with intensity 12 ability, or Mach 2. However, he can also levitate in his third, modified humanoid form, his so-called 'hover' mode, doing so with intensity 8 power.

Missile Launchers (i): in all of his modes, Storm Jet can make use of twin rocket launchers embedded within his form; they're on his wrists in humanoid and hover mode, and near his air intakes in his vehicle mode. Either way, the missiles fired by these launchers inflict intensity 10 damage.

This damage has a splash effect as well, affecting everybody within striking (near missile) distance of their detonation point.

Shape Change (a): Storm Jet is an Autobot with three primary modes. His first is that of an advanced combat jet of Cybertronian design, his second is his basic humanoid form, and his third is a modified version of his second, a sort of 'hovering sentry' form. He can change between forms at will.

Equipment:

none

Hindrances:

(none)

Skills:

Aerial Combat (a): it may go without saying, but since his primary function is that of a combat aircraft, Storm Jet has gotten very, very good at fighting while airborne. As such, he should be allowed a one level difficulty reduction on all combat actions rolled while in the air, whether offensive or defensive in nature.

Artillery (a): furthermore, Storm Jet is likely rather competent in the use of his inherent missile weaponry; this skill extends to the use of various, line of sight weaponry like mortars and such as well. He may use all like weapons at one difficulty level lower than would normally be required.

Calling:

Soldier: not the mindless-drone style of soldier that most robots tend to be, Storm Jet is a dedicated professional in regards to his duty as an aerial warrior for the Autobot cause. While he can fly off the handle, and does so often, he takes great pride in his work, and excels in battle because of it.

Likeness:

In his vehicle mode, Storm Jet appears to be a futuristic, swing-wing aircraft, one of somewhat alien design that is composed of primarily white steel, with red and black trim. In his humanoid and hover modes, however, Storm Jet appears to be a robot built from red, black, and white aircraft parts.

Personality:

Storm Jet is something of a firecracker, having quite the temper once he's properly agitated. Of course, he usually reins in said temper while on the job, as he's usually assigned to reconnaissance missions - and is all professional while on the job, refusing to shirk his duty.

Real Name: Storm Jet

Furthermore, in his humanoid and hover modes, his wing surfaces present various protrusions that give him a rather menacing appearance despite his allegiance.

Story:

As were Skid-Z and Tow-Line before him, Storm Jet is something of a late arrival on earth, apparently having come at the request of his earth-bound allies to help them to head off the Predacon onslaught on that world. In fact, he showed up towards the end of the Cybertronian conflict on earth.

This may be why he did not bother to adopt an earth-based form for his vehicle mode; you see, unlike most of his fellows, Storm Jet maintains his primary, Cybertronian configuration. This does not affect the Autobots' mission all that much, however, for humans are unlikely to spot him.

You see, Storm Jet primarily uses his impressive, otherworldly abilities in reconnaissance missions, flying well above the visual range of both humans and Cybertronians in order to figure out just what the Decepticons and Predacons are up to. Of course, that's not all he does on earth, mind you.

You see, he delights in putting various Decepticon aircraft in their place, chasing down those who believe they're much faster than he is - and dropping them... hard. As you can guess, this hasn't made him a friend of Skyfire and Wind Sheer, the two main Decepticon fighter jets active on earth.

Not that this matters all that much, of course, for shortly after his arrival on earth, the Autobots ultimately succeeded in ending the threat their evil cousins posed on earth. Once this was done, Storm Jet returned to the world (and possibly the era) of his birth along with his many fellows.
