Armorhide Strength Agility Intellect Willpower 14x 6d 6x 8d Hand Size: 3 (17) Edge: 1 Known Powers: Cybertronian Physique: like his fellow Decepticons, Armorhide is a robotic entity of Cybertronian design and origin. As such, this incredibly powerful combatant has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives Armorhide these super human powers: * Body Armor (s): like most Cybertronians, Armorhide was built (or formed) with a reinforced steel frame, one that offers him +3 resistance to injury. This makes him immune to most basic human attack forms, and moderately resistant to his fellow robots (taking his Strength into consideration). * Enhanced Senses / Microscopic + Telescopic Vision (w): all Transformers can alter their visual sensitivity as is necessary, where distance is concerned. Functioning at intensity 2, these powers let them see objects up to a mile distant with ease, as well as allowing them to read items on microfiche. * Invulnerability to Disease and Toxins (s): like all robots, Armorhide is highly resistant to diseases and poisons that would kill organic beings. He possesses complete immunity to organic pathogens, and a 'mere' +10 resistance to other, more chemically creative substances. * Radio Transceiver (i): as are most all Transformers on earth, Armorhide is equipped with an audio / video transmission system. This communications rig allows him instant contact with any other Decepticon or Predacon on earth, having intensity 10 power (25,000 mile range). * Size Alteration (a): most Cybertronians have some degree of control over their size, no matter what form they take. Due to his significant height in his humanoid mode, Armorhide has this power via technicality; he may very well grow somewhat while transforming, but doesn't appear to do so. This power is bound in Armorhide's case by the Growth Only and Permanent limitations, meaning that Armorhide is always 12 foot tall in his humanoid mode. Due to his size, Armorhide possesses this power at intensity 3, and while it's permanent, the requisite Strength and Agility changes are not applied. This since his foes often vary in size considerably; the Autobots are not all die-cast from the same mold. For the sake of simplicity, one could just apply those alterations and call it a day, or he may go for accuracy and vary them based on the size of his current opponent; whichever works for your game. Camouflage System (a): as do his fellow Combatrons, Armorhide seems to have a specialized camouflage system that he can use to blend into various environments (such as Arctic tundra, or desert sands). This system works at intensity 1, giving him a camo pattern appropriate to the background at hand. Gestalt (a): using this special power, Armorhide can combine his physical form with that of his fellow Combatrons. Working at intensity 12, this ability can be used to create the ultra-powerful Ruination, one of the Decepticons' most powerful operatives! Plasma Mortar Cannon (i): his primary, integral weapon system, this device is housed within Armorhide's tank barrel. It can be used to lob explosive gobs of plasma at an opponent, gobs that detonate to inflict intensity 15 energy damage to whatever (or whoever) they hit. Shapeshifting (a): his most notorious ability, this power allows Armorhide to transform his humanoid form into that of a combat tank, if admittedly a rather small one; it's only slightly larger than the vehicle form of his cohort, Rollbar. Armorhide has intensity 4 'lightning speed' in this form. Equipment: Dangar Cannon (i): unlike his plasma mortar cannon, Armorhide's dangar cannon isn't built in to his body, but is a rear-mounted system only usable in his tank mode. It can be fired to inflict intensity 12 energy damage with every deadly, twin-barreled strike. Laser Pistol (a): in addition to his built-in plasma mortar cannon and his dangar cannon, Armorhide carries a small, backup laser pistol to assist him on missions. This relatively low-powered weapon can be fired to inflict +3 energy damage with each successful shot. Restraint Shells (a): equipment that all the Combatrons carry, these shells can be fired from their primary weaponry to capture a foe, rather than kill him outright. Each shell casts an energy net around a foe that restrains him with intensity 12 ability, +2 for each additional shell used. Hindrances: (none) Skills: Marksmanship (a): having several of them built into his very body, not to mention the fact that he carries even more, Armorhide is naturally a competent marksman - he's been well trained how to use his inherent weaponry. He can make attacks using beam (and other projectile) weapons at a reduced difficulty level. Military (w): as are the rest of the Combatrons, Armorhide is a born and bred warrior, and is naturally skilled in various matters of a martial nature. In other words, he knows general military protocols and procedures like the back of his manipulator, and can lead fighting beings into battle when necessary. Calling: Soldier, with a secondary calling of Demolisher: primarily speaking, Armorhide is all business, his very personality being the epitome of military discipline. However, Megatron has brought out the dark side of his identity, and he now revels in destruction for its own sake. Likeness: In his alternate mode, Armorhide looks like a blue tank covered with a black camo pattern here and there. Of course, he's much smaller than normal tanks, being just a bit larger than most S.U.V.s. In his robot form, Armorhide resembles a humanoid machine built from spare blue tank parts. Personality: Whatever his original personality was, Armorhide is now truly a representative of Megatron's minions. He is crass, belligerent, incredibly violent, and battle-crazy. He likes nothing more than to crush his opponents under his heel - and then taking a nice, hot sand bath afterwards. Real Name: unrevealed Occupation: Decepticon warrior Legal Status: citizen of Cybertron wanted on earth for various crimes against humanity Marital Status: inapplicable Alias(es), if any: none Group Affiliation: the Decepticons, the Combatrons Height: 12' (approximately) Hair: inapplicable Eyes: orange Weight: several tons Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Armorhide is composed of a strong alien metal that is primarily blue in hue, with a nifty black camo pattern in places, regardless of his form. Story: Most of Armorhide's history is a mystery, for his true identity and personality have been muddled somewhat by Megatron's meddling. You see, after the stasis pod he was riding in was corrupted by that villain, Armorhide was transformed into a highly combative, belligerent Decepticon. He seems to have been of a military mindset like his fellow Combatrons, but not quite so... gung-ho about blowing things up. Now that he's been forcibly turned away from the Autobot cause, Armorhide gleefully joins his fellows in the destruction of anything that Megatron - or anybody else - wishes. Working with his fellow Combatrons, Armorhide has caused untold damage to the planet earth, much of which was unchecked by the Autobots, since their leader didn't stop trying to help him 'see the light' about his true persona for quite some time. Not that this mayhem was without purpose, of course. This was because Megatron was seeking out the location of Fortress Maximus, a rather large Autobot that had been secreted on earth long ago, and was willing to destroy anyone and anything that got in his way. And since there were so many darn Autobots on earth already, this meant Armorhide was rather busy. Either by himself, or combined with his fellows into the mighty Ruination, Armorhide fought to the bitter end with the Autobots in order to accomplish Megatron's dangerous goals. In the end, however, Armorhide and his fellows were laid low by the Autobots, and captured in their ultimate defeat. Once this was done, Armorhide was transferred with his fellow villains to an asteroid penal colony in the vicinity of Cybertron, where he presumably remains to this very day. Unless Megatron's influence is removed from his spark, he may stay there for a very long time, indeed...!
