Axer Strength Agility Intellect Willpower 9c 3c 12d 10x Hand Size: 4 (25) Edge: 2 Known Powers: Cybertronian Physique: like his fellow Decepticons, Axer is a robotic entity of Cybertronian design and origin. As such, this highly skilled bounty hunter has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives Axer these super human powers: * Body Armor (s): like most Cybertronians, Axer was built (or formed) with a reinforced steel frame, one that offers him +1 resistance to injury. This makes him immune to most basic human attack forms, and moderately resistant to his fellow robots (taking his Strength into consideration). * Enhanced Senses / Microscopic + Telescopic Vision (w): all Transformers can alter their visual sensitivity as is necessary, where distance is concerned. Functioning at intensity 2, these powers let them see objects up to a mile distant with ease, as well as allowing them to read items on microfiche. * Invulnerability to Disease and Toxins (s): like all robots, Axer is highly resistant to diseases and poisons that would kill organic beings. He possesses complete immunity to organic pathogens, and a 'mere' +10 resistance to other, more chemically creative substances. Magnetic Lock Destabilizer (i): acting as his tail-pipe in his vehicle mode, this weapons is a wrist mounted device when he takes his humanoid form. When he uses it, though, Axer can destabilize magnetic fields (especially those used in Transformer gestalts) with intensity 15 ability. Missiles (i): supplementing his quadraphonic blasters in motorcycle mode, Axer is also equipped with a protonic missile launcher. These projectiles inflict a blast of atomic particles upon whatever they strike in battle, which inflict intensity 13 energy damage to all within striking (near missile) range of where they hit. Quadraphonic Blasters (i): deployable at will while he's in his motorcycle mode, these weapons can generate a multi-channel sound pulse that adversely affects an opponent - and how! These weapons fire to inflict intensity 15 stunning damage per blast - great for bagging wanted 'bots! Shapeshifting (a): whenever he desires, Axer can transform between his humanoid and Harley Davidson motorcycle modes, and often does so quickly in battle to maximize the use of his abilities. This power is voice-activated, however ("Axer, Transform!"). His Harley mode is pretty quick, too. Consider him to be moving as though he had intensity 7 lightning speed in his automotive form. Equipment: (none) Hindrances: (none) Skills: Boxing (s): though he's not all that proficient with ranged combat thanks to his unusually low Agility (regarding Cybertronians, at least), Axer's quite good mixing it up personal-like. He can divide his pre-cardplay action score between two unarmed melee attacks, the last of which occurs as a contingent action. Brawling (s): in addition to his ability to simply connect with a foe, Axer has acquired the skills necessary to connect rather well. If he brings a foe to zero (0) cards with a melee strike, Axer will not just render him unconscious so much as drop him into a long-standing coma. Criminology (i): despite the Decepticons' reputation for villainy, they do need to take care of various basic functions, such as security. Axer is well-versed in handling these issues, having worked on both sides of the smuggling and infiltration coin in his day, and can anticipate the actions of a 'criminal' mind. Marksmanship (a): wielding potent energy weapons in both of his modes, Axer has naturally devoted significant amounts of time to mastering their use - especially considering his deficiency in the Agility department. When using these weapons in combat, he does so at a reduced difficulty level. Thievery (a): while the more stealthy aspects of this skill escape Axer (he's kind of clumsy, really), he truly excels at the illicit abilities this skill grants. Opening locks, disarming security systems, and acquiring materials and goods in 'suspect' fashion are second nature to him. Calling: Greed: there's no two bones about it, Axer is motivated solely by the acquisition of material goods. He'll do anything for enough money, and will... bide his time if he smells an opportunity, but won't put up with all that much grief - especially if his personal annoyance outweighs the profit in a given venture. Likeness: Whether or not it's done in order to strike fear into his quarry, Axer is dark - very dark - in coloration. In his vehicle mode, he resembles a black Harley Davidson motorcycle with gold trim and chromed bits, while his humanoid mode is a black steel affair, seemingly built from random motorcycle parts. One that has a very large blaster mounted on his right arm. Personality: The one trait that can easily describe Axer is 'self confident'. Despite his size (which is about that of a normal human in his robot mode), Axer is exceedingly sure in himself and his ability to take down any opponent - as long as the fee is right. He doesn't take abuse or insults from anyone - bar none. Real Name: Axer Occupation: Decepticon interceptor, bounty hunter Legal Status: citizen of Cybertron with a likely criminal record (assuming the Autobots are in charge) Marital Status: inapplicable Alias(es), if any: none Group Affiliation: the Decepticons Height: 6' (approximately) Hair: inapplicable Eyes: white Weight: 350 lbs. (approximately) Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Axer is composed of a strong alien metal that is primarily black in hue, with gold and chrome trim, regardless of his form. Story: The exact nature of Axer's identity and origin is a mystery. He may very well be the so-called 'Actionmaster' who was present during the original war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. On the other hand, he may've simply borrowed the name of an infamous Decepticon, like Megatron himself has. Regardless, this fellow got his start busting up smuggling rings, being hired to hunt down microchip smugglers in the slag swamps of Cybertron. He got very good at keeping folks from brining contraband into places where it didn't belong - as well as running his own smuggling operation from time to time. Not just a petty smuggler himself, Axer has expanded into full-fledged mercenary work, taking on any job as long as the money is right. His own personal motto, 'no prey is too large, no fee is too small', defines this to a tee - he'll take on any foe, any threat, as long as suitable remuneration is in order. Which is why he, a Decepticon mercenary, wound up on a mere rescue mission one fateful day. Of course, this mission was to rescue somebody from the maw of a black hole, but hey - the money was good. The only problem was that the rescue went wrong, and Axer was flung into said black hole. Instead of being crushed like he should've been, though, Axer appeared on the other side of space-time. Showing up around earth, Axer decided to have himself a look-see; after all, there wasn't anything else of note for a very, very long distance in any direction. Imagine his surprise at finding Decepticons there. Seeing an opportunity on earth, Axer decided to stay for awhile. He adopted a form suitable to his new, human-occupied environment, one that humans felt best represented freedom and independence on the road: a Harley Davidson motorcycle (well, the humans he observed thought so, at least). Being mercenary at heart, he was able to integrate himself into the ranks of Megatron's (and then Galvatron's) minions. However, being a highly skilled, highly ambitious fellow, Axer found that he chafed under the command of Scourge, Megatron's right-hand man. A lot. Before Axer could make his move against Scourge, though, the Autobots on earth managed to defeat Galvatron and his minions, Axer included. Once this was done, they shipped all of the earth-bound Predacons and Decepticons (minus Sky-Bite, who slipped away in the confusion) to a penal asteroid. As resourceful as Axer is, though, he'll likely get out of this predicament in no time, though what he'll do then is a mystery. If the Autobots who captured him are from the future and/or an alternate timeline, and he is in fact the Actionmaster known as Axer, getting home could be rather tricky for him...
