Known Powers:

Cybertronian Physique:
like his fellow Decepticons, Ruination is a robotic entity of Cybertronian design and origin. As such, this horribly cruel warrior has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives Ruination these super human powers:

* Body Armor: like most Cybertronians, Ruination was built (or formed) with a reinforced steel frame, one that offers him +2 resistance to injury. This makes him immune to most basic human attack forms, and moderately resistant to his fellow robots (taking his Strength into consideration).

* Enhanced Senses / Microscopic + Telescopic Vision: all Transformers can alter their visual sensitivity as is necessary, where distance is concerned. Functioning at intensity 2, these powers let them see objects up to a mile distant with ease, as well as allowing them to read items on microfiche.

* Invulnerability to Disease and Toxins: like all robots, Ruination is highly resistant to diseases and poisons that would kill organic beings. He possesses complete immunity to organic pathogens, and a 'mere' +10 resistance to other, more chemically creative substances.

* Radio Transceiver: as are most all Transformers on earth, Ruination is equipped with an audio / video transmission system. This communications rig allows him instant contact with any other Decepticon or Predacon on earth, having intensity 10 power (25,000 mile range).

* Size Alteration: most Cybertronians have some degree of control over their size, no matter what form they take. Due to his significant height while in existence, Ruination has this power via technicality; he may change size in his different configurations, but doesn't appear to do so.

This power is bound in Ruination's case by the Growth Only and Permanent limitations, meaning that Ruination is always 30 foot tall regardless of his configuration. Due to his size, Ruination possesses this power at intensity 12, and while it's permanent, the requisite Strength and Agility changes are not applied.

This since his foes often vary in size considerably; the Autobots are not all die-cast from the same mold. For the sake of simplicity, one could just apply those alterations and call it a day, or he may go for accuracy and vary them based on the size of his current opponent; whichever works for your game.

Camouflage System: as do his component Combatrons, Ruination seems to have a specialized camouflage system that he can use to blend into various environments (such as Arctic tundra). This system works at intensity 1, giving him a camo pattern appropriate to the background at hand.

Double Demolition Cannons: Ruination's primary built-in weapon is Mega-Octane's twin laser cannon. In his hands, though, Ruination can inflict much more damage, as he can fire two laser beams which can inflict a devastating +7 energy damage per deadly dual blast.

Also, as can Mega-Octane, Ruination can simultaneously fire two missiles at an opponent. Now, if both of these projectiles manage to strike their target, Ruination can inflict intensity 20 fragmentary (physical) damage all at once. Otherwise, each individual missile inflicts 'but' intensity 18 damage.

Flight / Levitation / Leaping: in his flight mission mode, Ruination can make use of Ro-Tor's lift capabilities in various ways. He can leap into the air with intensity 20 ability, levitate indefinitely, or even fly through the air at intensity 5 speeds (ninety miles per hour).

Gestalt: Ruination himself is the product of a merger between the five Decepticon Combatrons: Armorhide, Mega-Octane, Movor, Rollbar, and Ro-Tor. Unlike most Cybertronian combiners, though, Ruination can be formed in two separate forms - a land mission mode and an air mission mode.

Sting Blades: in addition to serving as a source of lift, the rotors Ruination inherits from Ro-Tor can be used to inflict a vicious, bladed body check in his air mission mode. He can charge an opponent to inflict his Strength score +2 damage - +3 if attempted at the end of a super leap.

Equipment:

Rage Lasers:
Ruination's twin weapons, themselves a gestalt of the various weapons wielded by the five Combatrons, are two terrifying devices to behold. He typically wields them both in combat, each of which are +7 weapons, but inflict +8 damage if both are wielded simultaneously.

Hindrances:

(none)

Skills:

Marksmanship:
as all of his component Decepticons possess this skill, so too does Ruination. As such, he is exceptionally proficient in the use of most any advanced, directed energy weapons, such as laser pistols, particle accelerators, and even 'death rays'. He uses these weapons at a reduced difficulty level.

Military: again, it should go without saying that Ruination naturally has this skill, since all of his component Combatrons are so overwhelmingly martial in their mindsets. This allows him the tactical skills necessary to effectively lead fighting beings into combat, regardless of the mission.

Calling:

Demolisher,
with a secondary calling of Soldier: while his component minds are all primarily of a martial persona, it seems that Ruination himself only considers following orders as an afterthought; he delights simply in the destruction of his enemies - and perhaps a few allies, as well...!

Likeness:

Ruination has a curious appearance indeed, in that his form is a composite of the five Combatrons combined into a single whole. His form primarily appears to be built, with the exception of Mega-Octane (who serves as his torso) from several whole, if slightly off-scale, military vehicles.

Personality:

Primarily driven by the mind of Mega-Octane, the fusion of Decepticons that is Ruination is an atrociously cruel general, one who thinks of nothing but combat. With his considerable power, he is quite confident in battle, to the point that he'll take excessive risks to win no matter the cost.

Real Name: unrevealed
Occupation: Decepticon warrior
Legal Status: inapplicable (he's only in existence occasionally)
Marital Status: inapplicable
Alias(es), if any: none
Group Affiliation: the Decepticons, the Combatrons

Height: 30' (approximately)
Hair: inapplicable
Eyes: red
Weight: quite a few tons
Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Ruination is an immense construct resulting from the merger of five militant Decepticon warriors, making him rather unique in appearance. He may appear in one of two configurations, depending on the situation at hand (or random folly, depending).

Story:

As is the case with most Cybertronian gestalts, Ruination leads a transient existence, only being operable when his five component Decepticons (Armorhide, Mega-Octane Movor, Rollbar, and Ro-Tor) merge their bodies and minds together into a single whole. Which may be with precedent.

You see, even before they were tainted by Megatron's evil, the five Autobots that eventually became the Combatrons were a tight-knit commando squad, one that worked well together for quite some time. It's even possible that they had the ability to merge their bodies in their original configurations.

Regardless, Ruination made his first appearance shortly after his component Cybertronians were changed into Decepticons. On a mission to instill fear into humanity which had gone horribly amiss, the Combatrons were waylaid by Sky-Bite's interference, interference that ultimately led to an Autobot encounter.

Seeing that his forces were about to face defeat, Scourge ordered the Combatrons to combine, at which point they merged to form Ruination - in his air mission mode. He would've crushed the Autobots before him if not for that pesky Rail Racer, who showed up at the last minute to take him down a peg.

After this, Ruination was repeatedly called upon by his Decepticon bosses, usually when the individual Combatrons who comprised his existence were individually insufficient to complete whatever task at hand. However, thanks to the efforts of the Autobots, Ruination is not currently at large.

This is because, though it took them some time, the Autobots on earth managed to ultimately defeat both the Predacons and Decepticons active there. After this, they hauled off their defeated cousins and imprisoned them on an asteroid penal colony somewhere in the vicinity of Cybertron.

As such, we may not be seeing Ruination again. Unless, of course, all five of the Combatrons Megatron has created refuse to be restored to their original, Autobot states - not to mention successfully attempt to escape from said penal colony. Ultimately, only time will tell...!
