Megabolt Strength Agility Intellect Willpower 16x 15x 18x 15c Hand Size: 5 (30) Edge: 3 Known Powers: Cybertronian Physique: like his fellow Decepticons, Megabolt is a robotic entity of Cybertronian design and origin. As such, this impossibly large villain has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives Megabolt these super human powers: * Body Armor (s): like most Cybertronians, Megabolt was built (or formed) with a reinforced steel frame, one that offers him +2 resistance to injury. This makes him immune to most basic human attack forms, and moderately resistant to his fellow robots (taking his Strength into consideration). * Enhanced Senses / Microscopic + Telescopic Vision (w): all Transformers can alter their visual sensitivity as is necessary, where distance is concerned. Functioning at intensity 2, these powers let them see objects up to a mile distant with ease, as well as allowing them to read items on microfiche. * Invulnerability to Disease and Toxins (s): like all robots, Megabolt is highly resistant to diseases and poisons that would kill organic beings. He possesses complete immunity to organic pathogens, and a 'mere' +10 resistance to other, more chemically creative substances. * Radio Transceiver (i): as are most all Transformers on earth, Megabolt is equipped with an audio / video transmission system. This communications rig allows him instant contact with any other Decepticon or Predacon on earth, having intensity 10 power (25,000 mile range). Titanic Stature (a): most Cybertronians have some degree of control over their size, no matter what form they take. Due to his amazing height in his humanoid mode, Megabolt has this power via technicality; he may very well grow somewhat while transforming, but doesn't appear to do so. This power is bound in Megabolt's case by the Permanent limitation, meaning that Megabolt is always 200 foot tall in his humanoid mode. Due to his size, Megabolt possesses this power at intensity 2, and while it's permanent, the requisite Strength and Agility changes are not applied. This since his foes often vary in size considerably; Autobots and Maximals aren't all die-cast from the same mold. For simplicity's sake, one could just apply those alterations and call it a day, or he may go for accuracy and vary them based on the size of his current opponent; whichever works for your game. Besides, against anybody without this power, he's automatically got an effective Strength of 30, and an Agility of 0. Additional Limbs / Legs (a): in his emissary mode, Megabolt is possessed of six powerful, if slightly disproportionate spider-like legs. These allow him to get personal in a fight when levitation is impractical, and possibly to pin a foe under his massive bulk before a fang attack. Energy Claws (i): in his humanoid mode, Megabolt can form energy-based claws on the tips of his fingers, allowing him to wreak havoc in melee. While they don't add to the damage he can inflict, these claws changes the damage he inflicts from physical to energy in origin. Fangs (s): in his emissary mode, Megabolt is essentially a giant head - one replete with a massive jaw. Considering his size in relation to standard Cybertronians, he can use the edges on this jaw to inflict massive damage in combat - they allow him to inflict slashing damage in melee. Gestalt (a): Megabolt has been configured to serve a role as a sort of 'double headmaster', similar to the bond that Fortress Maximus' Great Brain has with Cerebros. You see, Megatron (or later, Galvatron) can transform into a head in order to merge with Megabolt's chassis. Then, in his emissary mode, Megabolt can perform a similar task, merging with Fortress Maximus himself - not that the unbelievably huge Autobot would willingly do so... but then, that's the point. This power works at intensity 25 for the purposes of forcing such a merger. Levitation: while he does have legs in his emissary mode, Megabolt usually prefers to hover ominously above the landscape; his leering visage overhead has a potent demoralizing effect on his opponents. He may also fly about at intensity 1 speeds as well, via maneuvering thrusters. Shapeshifting (a): Megabolt has the power to change his body between two distinct forms - a sleek, humanoid configuration and a bizarre, almost impractical spider-head creature thing. He can change between these forms at will, though his transformation takes a full exchange to accomplish. Sonic Missiles (i): in either of his modes, Megabolt has the ability to fire missiles with a one-shot sonic weapon payload. Not only can these missiles have a stunning effect on his foes (average intensity sonic missile action versus Willpower), but they may even shatter parts of them with a lucky shot. These missiles function at intensity 20. Equipment: (none) Hindrances: (none) Skills: Leadership (w): more than anything else, Megabolt has learned how to lead his evil subordinates into battle - or anything else. Between bullying and actual inspiration, he's good at getting others to do what he wants them to, and this has helped him to conquer whole worlds. Military (w): though he's a pretty competent leader outside of battle, Megabolt truly shines while he's in the thick of a fight. He is well versed in various theories of war tactics, and can apply a strategy likely to win a given battle regardless of the situation at hand, no matter how difficult. Calling: World Domination: it pretty much goes without saying, but Megabolt is out to take over the entire universe - one world at a time. He's conquered numerous planets in his own time (or timeline, depending on how you look at it), and has no qualms about wrecking the earth to get his way. Likeness: Megabolt is an immense metal creature in either mode. His humanoid configuration is a sleek work of art, menacing and terrifyingly beautiful. Of course, his emissary mode is a bizarre, giant head (with optional spider legs). Either way, he possesses a gunmetal coloration, with red, blue, and gold highlights. After he changed his name to further remove himself from his era's Megatron, Megabolt also changed his coloration. In his humanoid form, he bears blue and black metal on his torso, with green and yellow on his arms and legs. His emissary mode is mostly green and yellow, with a blue undercarriage and black, spidery legs. Personality: Megabolt bears the persona of a vicious, nefarious would-be conqueror. He ever lusts for more power, and has no qualms about bringing his full force to bear in order to get whatever he wants - which several ruined worlds can attest to. Subtlety is definitely not his strong suit. Real Name: Megabolt Occupation: Decepticon warrior Legal Status: citizen of Cybertron wanted on earth for various crimes against humanity Marital Status: inapplicable Alias(es), if any: Megatron, Megabolt Megatron Group Affiliation: the Decepticons, the Predacons, the Vehicons (whichever is most convenient) Height: 100' (approximately) Hair: inapplicable Eyes: red (in robot mode), green (in emissary mode) Weight: many many tons Other Distinguishing Characteristics: regardless of which mode you encounter him, Megabolt is a massive Cybertronian entity built primarily from gunmetal-hued steel, with various red, blue and gold highlights (later green and blue steel with yellow highlights). Story: A large portion of Megabolt's story is something of a mystery. He proudly wears the Vehicon faction symbol on his chest, yet has the spark of a Predacon - and has declared himself to be a Decepticon. How he gained this hodge-podge of allegiances is unknown at this time. Regardless, he is yet another of a long line of Cybertronian villains to take the name of 'Megatron', knowing full well the terrifying aspect it carries within anyone who has ever experienced the villainy that the original perpetrated. Not that he needed to - he's conquered several worlds all by himself. For some unknown reason, though, Megabolt has left his own time in order to cause some mayhem in our own - quite possibly because he was in on Megatron's plot to seize the power of Fortress Maximus for himself. To this end, Megabolt has considerably altered his form. Not to mention his name. It's hard to be on a team with two people having the same name - especially if one is in charge. Thus Megatron christened himself Megatron Megabolt, which his fellows tended to shorten to 'just' Megabolt. Easier to shout out in battle field conditions, after all. He has reconfigured his alternate mode to serve as a sort of in-between, one that would allow Megatron himself to merge with and control Fortress Maximus - a back-up plan for if Megatron's primary scheme failed. Not that his full power has been altered in the slightest. Terrifyingly effective on earth, this villain has wreaked untold havoc thanks to his sheer scale compared to the natives, not to mention the impressive firepower he has at his command. Of course, all this was for naught, for Megatron's plot to acquire Fortress Maximus' power ultimately failed. This even after he was transformed into a sort of undead Transformer, one who claimed the name of Galvatron for himself. When Galvatron was bested by Omega Prime in personal combat at the earth's core, all of his minions (save for Sky-bite) were captured and transferred to an asteroid penal colony. This seems to have included Megatron Megabolt. Of course, he may've escaped, having been sighted since in an all new color scheme, and answering only to Megabolt. Perhaps this is some effort to distance himself from the villain he was formerly partnered with - if not the name 'Megatron' itself. While the name instills fear within most Transformers in general, the sad truth is that there have been many to use that name, and all have ultimately failed in their goal to conquer Cybertron - much less the universe beyond. What Megabolt is up to these days has yet to be revealed. But it's likely he's going to attempt to rebuild his power base anew...
