Powers:
Body Transformation / Stone: Jeremy has the mutant ability to transform his body into a flexible, living hunk of granite, doing so with intensity 14 ability. While so transformed, then, Jeremy exhibits similarly potent Strength and protection from injury, a significant boost in personal power. Currently, this is the only body transformation Jeremy is capable of.
Cold Control: Jeremy wields this power at intensity 10, allowing him to lower the temperature of a room (or a person) by up to 100 degrees. Furthermore, he can use this power to generate ice, and while he does so, Jeremy tends to resemble a glacier mountain (in his stone form, at least). To date, Jeremy has demonstrated the following power stunts:
* Ensnarement: if he can pass an average difficulty cold control action, opposed by the Agility of his opponent, Jeremy can encase them within a block of ice - either partially or fully - thus preventing them from moving. Victims so ensnared must pass an average difficulty Strength action, opposed by this power intensity, or be trapped until the ice melts away.
* Ice Missiles: Jeremy can flash-freeze ambient moisture and then impart upon it momentum, allowing him to blast an opponent within firing distance with a torrent of ice. These missiles will inflict power intensity damage if in the form of ice, though this can be halved if Jeremy likes, by using snowballs instead of ice shards.
* Ice Shield: Jeremy can create a rather large shield of ice that can prevent multiple attacks from striking anyone within striking distance of his person - as long as they stand behind the shield, that is. While he must concentrate to maintain the shield, it offers power intensity protection from assault, and any attack that gets through the shield will destroy it - but won't harm Jeremy.
Density Control: Jeremy wields this power at intensity 9, allowing him to reduce his body to zero density (similarly lowering his Strength to zero, but raising his Agility to 15). In this state, he is insubstantial, and can pass through solid objects as though he has the Phasing stunt. He may be able to raise his density, but hasn't been shown to do so yet.
Elongation: one of his more... curious powers, this ability allows Jeremy to extend any of his physical dimensions as he sees fit, with intensity 10 skill. He can reach anything within firing distance, whether it be to shake hands, grapple, or even attack. To date, he hasn't demonstrated any special power stunts with this capability, but this may change in time...
Lightning Speed: Jeremy has the ability to move fast... really fast. Function at intensity 6, this power allows him to run at over one hundred miles per hour, and he can effectively be anywhere within line of sight within a given exchange - quite a surprise, if he happens to be in his stone form. Furthermore, he can split his pre-card action score between two or more actions, if he so desires.
Radar Sense: Jeremy can emit and receive electromagnetic waves in order to get a true, three dimensional picture of an object or his surroundings. Working at intensity 6, this power can be used instead of his Willpower when trying to investigate a person or object's true nature, and is quite handy for the purposes of preventing folks from sneaking up on him.
Resistance to Heat and Cold: Jeremy is resistant to a large range of temperature variation, having +3 immunity to any attack of a cold or heat based nature. This allows him to ignore the effects of his own ice generation power, as well as scorching levels of heat damage. This comes in quite handy when stranded in desolate areas, too...
Equipment:
Jeremy generally carries a lot of Batman and Blade style weaponry. Throwing stars, a collapsable staff, micro-grenades (flash mostly), a mini-hook and line, etc. Nothing really major, just a few items to hide his powers in a pinch or provide cover for changing costumes or forms. Of course, these items can be quite intimidating in his hands - regardless of his current form...
Hindrances:
(none)
Skills:
Chemistry: Jeremy knows a thing or two about chemical matters, including things like identifying substances, disarming chemical weapons, and even the countering of poisons and some limited bio-agents. He makes chemistry-based Intellect actions at one difficulty level lower than normal.
Computers: a hobby in his youth, Jeremy has learned the ins and outs of computer usage, programming, and repair. In fact, he's fairly competent in putting your standard personal computers together. When building or repairing computers, Jeremy reduces the difficulty of such actions by one level.
Manipulation: in addition to his scholarly skills, Jeremy is well-versed in the arts of verbal trickery. Whenever he attempts to manipulate others into doing his bidding, he makes the appropriate Willpower action at one difficulty level lower than normal - and if he succeeds, his manipulations are undetectable!
Martial Arts Weapons: though he has powers these days, Jeremy hasn't always been able to rely upon them. As such, he has been well trained in the use of various oriental weapons, and wields them with ease in melee, reducing their inherent attack difficulty by one difficulty level.
Calling:
Explorer: Jeremy has always enjoyed the discovery of new people, places, and things, and tends to think more on the theoretical aspect of life than the physical. This doesn't stop him from going on villain-stomping romps, of course, but he's much more cerebral than his hulking appearance indicates.
Costume:
Jeremy wears a bodysuit that's like the one that the Scorpion character from those Mortal Kombat games wore. In essence, it's a black skinsuit with midnight blue boots, a blue tabard, and facemask. Also, the shirt piece has two a long midnight blue strip on each edge that come up in a 'v' pattern that end in veritable shoulder pads on top.
Personality (in the words of Charlie):
Cold demeanor, kind of a loner, really warm and caring once you get to know him. Has shrunk the chip on his shoulder from a tree to a 2x4. Despite being attractive he still has a problem simply talking to women. Has hidden morals of not trying to move in on anyone else's companion. Has a tendency to try be very heroic, despite the fear on the outside.
Has the tendency to be very blunt, to the point of sometimes not seeing the affect that his words are having and his (bad) timing when saying them. Has developed the natural ability to blend in to any cultural environment. Currently has a crush on Tammy, if he could ever figure her out.

Story:
Though he was born in Denver, Colorado, Jeremy has grown up in the south, primarily in Killeen, Texas - a small town that lies a bit east of Waco. His father, a Southern Baptist preacher, and his mother, the owner of a small accounting firm, were killed in a boating accident while he was only twelve years old. After this tragedy, he moved in with his cousin in Atlanta, Georgia.
Having a head for business and a heart for love, Jeremy has taken it upon himself to learn everything he could about computers, and has also studied various cultures and languages, memorizing them by the numerical rhythm inherent to each one. He was pondering his future, primarily in regards to college, when out of nowhere, his mutant powers came to the fore.
Suddenly finding himself with the awesome power to transform his body into living stone, Jeremy began to play with his newfound ability only to develop several other useful mutations almost simultaneously. This changed his outlook, some, as the emergence of mutant powers will cause one to reconsider the path their life is to take - and Jeremy is no exception to this.
Before he could make any solid decisions, however, Jeremy got himself mixed up in a fight between a telekinetic psi he knows only as Tammy, and some local mobsters. Thanks to this, Jeremy found himself flung back into the far past by the power of the evil assassin known as the Seven Dimensional Man, but at least he had company in the form of Tammy, who the 7-D Man kept calling Mindgame for some reason.
While trapped in the earth's dark past, Jeremy and Tammy had quite an adventure, one that ended with their causing the dread technomage Morbis a crippling defeat, one that kept him out of mortal affairs until very recently. Upon his return to the present, Jeremy has gotten himself mixed up with a large band of super-powered adventurers, the result of which has yet to be seen...
