the Agency 13 Idealist Files

These files are a collection of the Agency's knowledge about the various philosophical and idealogical organizations, at least those it has discovered so far. These files are often subject to change, as some of these groups suffer from shifts in their philosophical makeup rather regularly; in fact, they often splinter into several similar, yet distinct groups over time. The groups we've studies thus far include:

the Anthropy Society: those who believe in the tenets of Anthropy are of a mind that the universe was made for the convenience of sentient beings - human beings, specifically (and, as is often the case, the specific Anthropist in particular). As ardent humanists, then, they often come into conflict with both religious institutions and alien representatives on earth...

the Anti-Electronicists Society: the direct opposite of the Electronicists' League, this Society holds the belief that, since technology isn't natural, it shouldn't be used by anyone - period. As such, they go out of their way to demolish any high tech firm, hero, or organization they can find, since they are working against the Way.

the Electronicists' League: this group of geeks, mad scientists, and tinkerers share the belief that in order to advance earth's society, one must advance their technology - and quickly! To this end, the League is constantly whipping up new and exciting and - here's the important part - unpredictable devices to test out before releasing them to the mainstream. A real fun bunch.

the Machine Gun Buddhists: sequestered deep in the heart of Tibet lies an order of monks dedicated to Zen and the art of combat. Really. These guys are almost like cosmic warriors, being in tune with the universe and as such, having the capability to become a singularly difficult foe to defeat, since they know no fear.

Report filed Sticks McLellan.

the Scientific College of Frankology: this group isn't a religion, mind you, but a society of supposedly enlightened philosophers that are opposed to the principle of organized religion. That is why I have placed their file in the cult category; you see, the Frankologists are in constant conflict with various religious institutions, so it's most convenient to place them here.

the Society of Illucidated Brethren: mages of various levels of mystic skill, these crackpots embrace sorcery and nothing else - and believe that the world should do the same. Of course, the Society doesn't tell you that they also want to be in charge of just what magic people can learn under their utopian plan, though it's an amount much less than they themselves'd have access to...
