While studying our various targets, Agency operatives have discovered that many of said targets' minions have no true affiliation with them; they only work for the cash. Sure, this makes them slightly easier to deal with, since they can be bought off. However, their quicksilver allegiances are sometimes difficult to deal with on the fly, and these folks ought to be dealt with cautiously. Known mercenaries include:

the Dreadnoks: a rag-tag band of Australian thugs lead by a veritable master of disguise known only as Zartan, these jokers are responsible for untold levels of chaos and carnage throughout the free world. Note: these folks are identical to those covered in the G.I. Joe Handbook, following the comic book tale as is described for the G.I. Joe team (elsewhere in this reference).

Solo Mercenaries: this category of mercenaries represents those that operate without the convenience of an mercenary guild or the like. These are truly the best of the best concerning what they do, and that usually involves hunting a body down or simply busting him up, all for profit. Watch out when dealing with them, as they're usually very, very dangerous...

The Triumvirate of Tribulation: this three-piece set of bounty hunters are based on Planet T, the home of the Thaumatech Corporation, and tend to work multiverse-wide as freak hunters. Their leader, Penny Pincer, seems to prefer mutant targets while the Devil-blasted Man likes those of a diabolical bent. The Infernal Machine will take either as long as he's paid in milk...
