Origin:
The original Mighty Destroyer was Keen Marlowe, an American journalist who, after being captured by Nazis, was given an experimental super-soldier serum by an imprisoned scientist who didn't want the Axis powers to capture it. Keen then used his newfound abilities to wreak havoc on the Nazi regime!
Known Powers:
(none)
Equipment:
(none)
Quirks:
Loner: Keen is a solo artist, always has been, always will be. It's not that he hates people so much as simply works best by himself. If he finds himself in a crowded situation, Keen must pass a psyche FEAT roll at -1 CS or feel compelled to leave immediately.
Talents:
Acrobatics: part of Keen's transformation by the super-soldier serum involved a distinct enhancement of his natural nimbleness. Represented by this talent, Keen's increased dexterity allows him to add +1 CS to any dodge, escape, or evasion maneuver he attempts.
Demolitions: a skill Keen has sort of picked up through trial and error, this talent demonstrates his knowledge of destroying vehicles and structures with explosives. When attempting to sabotage such things, he should add +1 CS to any applicable FEAT rolls.
Guns: another skill Keen basically acquired after repeated use, this talent describes his ability to competently use guns in combat, whether they be regular, semi-auto or full-auto in nature. In combat, Keen can use any gun as if his agility score was +1 CS in rank.
Journalism: his original call to fame, Keen began his adventurous career as an investigative journalist. This talent, in addition to granting Keen +1 CS to any applicable investigative FEAT roll, provides him two additional contacts of either a law enforcement or journalist nature.
Martial Arts types A and B: his time as the Mighty Destroyer has taught him a thing or two about fighting, though he merely learned by doing. In battle, Keen may inflict slam or stun results against a foe regardless of his strength or endurance rank, and makes unarmed melee attacks at +1 CS.
Contacts:
As an Allied supporter fighting behind enemy lines, Keen had few folks that he could rely on for aid in a pinch. The few people he could ask for help, of course, were people like the French resistance, and others who were uncontent with the way the Nazis were doing things during the War.
Costume:
While in action, Keen wore a rather interesting 'union suit'. It consisted of a gray, long-sleeved shirt with a skull drawn on it, gray trunks, a blue belt, red boots and gloves, red and blue striped stretch pants, a red belt, and a full, red head-covering hood with a pale blue face mask.
Personality:
Keen Marlow is an adventurous, inquisitive soul, who'll go out of his way to uncover the truth or to learn something new. However, he's also a smarmy, smart-mouthed punk when it comes to his enemies, who he continually belittles and berates while he's pounding them into a pulp. He's funny that way.

Story:
Keen Marlowe was originally nothing but an American journalist, one who thought that sneaking into Nazi Germany to get the real scoop on things happening there was a good idea. It wasn't, and he got himself caught by the Gestapo soon after he started his investigations. However, Keen wasn't alone in prison, as he shared a cell with one Professor Eric Schmitt.
It would appear that this scientist was one who had developed yet another German variant of the super-soldier serum, but wasn't participating with the Nazi regime, and as such found himself imprisoned for his conscience. Wishing to keep the serum from the Axis powers, Schmitt gave it to Keen, who (after injecting it into himself) changed... dramatically!
Growing in size, strength, and intelligence dramatically (as all recipients of the super-soldier serum tend to do), Keen was able to escape from his cell easily, though poor Professor Schmitt got killed in the jail break. Avenging him, Keen tore the place apart, and then decided that he had a mission - to destroy the Nazi regime from within its own borders!
To this end, Keen donned a flamboyant costume, and began to call himself the Mighty Destroyer! In this new identity, he did battle with all manner of Nazi foes, doing what he could to force the Axis thugs to pay more attention to their internal affairs than the world outside Germany. Usually he worked alone, but Keen would often ally with folks such as the French resistance and other such underground types.
In fact, on one such mission, he was given false battle plans for the strike of the so-called Second Front, and with these papers in hand, he promptly got himself caught by a Nazi patrol. Using these plans, the Nazis moved their troops to intercept the Allied forces where they were supposed to arrive, but when the Allies really landed, they hit a sparsely defended location - and the fight was on!
Using the Mighty Destroyer 1 in Other Stories:
Presumably, Keen helped out in several such missions during the second World War, but a lot of these tales have yet to be documented, or rather, have simply been forgotten by the vagaries of time. You see, in an odd twist of fate, Keen's ressurection in modern Marvel time saw him replaced by another man in the Destroyer suit, one Brian Falsworth.
The purposes for this bizarre retroactive continuity change are mysterious, to say the least. However, this alteration still leaves several possibilities for Keen Marlowe. Since he has been completely cleansed from modern Marvel time to date (save for a vague mention on an apparently erroneous F.B.I. file on the Destroyer), Keen could simply appear as a modern-day Destroyer!
