Warrior Woman
Strength 12d |
Agility 5x |
Intellect 4c |
Willpower 3b |
Powers:
(none)
Equipment:
Whip: her signature weapon, Frieda can use this leather implement to inflict damage as though it were a +2 weapon, or to entangle opponents. She can do the latter by passing an average difficulty Strength action opposed by her opponent's Agility score.
Hindrances:
(none)
Skills:
Espionage: Frieda has been highly trained in Nazi techniques for surveillance, intelligence gathering, and torture. She can perform such actions with ease, can usually tell when such techniques are being used against her, and can even act to counter such operations.
Interrogation: Frieda has ways of making you talk. If she can pass average Willpower action, opposed by her target's own Willpower score, Frieda can force him or her to reveal information that she desires, or otherwise cower her opponent into fulfilling her wishes.
Languages / English, French, and German: a born German woman, Frieda is naturally fluent in the German tongue. However, as she has been forced to interrogate large numbers of Allied soldiers, it is assumed that she can speak French and English, as well.
Mesmerism: Frau Ratsel is also highly skilled at hypnotism. She can extract information and install post-hypnotic suggestions into a target's mind if she can pass an average intensity Willpower action opposed by her opponent's Willpower score. Hypnotized folks don't act counter to their nature, however.
Military: as one of Hitler's elite interrogation officers, Frieda is assumed to have been trained in proper, basic military techniques. Furthermore, she carries significant rank as both an interrogator and as Warrior Woman, so she can lead groups of soldiers on various missions if necessary.
Whips: Frieda has mastered the use of this weapon and employed it often, either in battle or during her... personal exploits. In fact, she can be considered a world class wielder of whips, receiving the benefit of an autotrump while using such implements.
Calling:
World Domination, sometimes Demolisher: for the most part, Frau Ratsel wishes to conquer the world and guarantee the primacy of her Nazi beliefs. However, she also likes to hurt people on occasion, for no other reason to see them cry out in pain. It's like music to her ears.
Costume:
Frieda made use of a skimpy, intimidating black leather outfit while 'at work', either as Warrior Woman or as your regular fiendish Nazi interrogator. This costume was basically a leather one-piece outfit, coupled with hip-hugger leather boots, gloves, and assorted straps on her arms, legs, and torso (for effect). She also bore a black choker collar and a red swastika arm band.
Personality:
Frieda comes across as a real man-hater, but then, the man she was primarily exposed to during most of her appearances was, in fact, a real boor. However, she does seem to get off on torturing men, moreso now that she's been transformed into a veritable Amazon amongst men. This attitude may have softened a bit now that she has fallen for the new Master Man, but that remains to be seen.

Story:
Frieda Ratsel first appeared as one of Hitler's personal interrogation officers, a woman who loved to torture men, and could invariably extract any information from them. On one particular assignment, she was to acquire certain information about the American super-soldier serum the Nazis lacked. Upon doing so, she used this information (along with the Nazi's) to empower herself.
Injecting the compound into herself, she grew much taller, and more than doubled her own body mass with raw muscle. Dubbing herself the Warrior Woman, she teamed up with the oafish Master Man to defeat the Invaders team, who he'd defeated earlier (they were attempting to escape). Rejoicing at this, Hitler decided to have the two married, in order to create a race of super-Germans.
Though she didn't like this, as she hated men in general (and Master Man in particular), Frieda nonetheless went along with her leader's wishes, and went through with the marriage ceremony Hitler arranged. The Invaders attempted to escape yet again, however, and ready for the super-soldier duo this time, the heroes managed to win out in the end.
Despite their failure, Frieda and Master Man were used again and again against the interloping Invaders, either by themselves or later as members of Lady Lotus' Super-Axis. However, the war eventually turned against the Nazi regime, and for the sake of the future (according to Nazi thinking), Frieda and Master Man were placed in cryogenic storage, to be awakened at a later date.
This date came after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, when Germany was finally stitched back together after the end of the so-called Cold War. Frieda's savior from sleep, one Axl Nacht, immediately fell in love with her, and conspired to steal Master Man's powers to become a suitable mate. He did this soon after, during a scuffle between Master Man and Namor the Sub-Mariner.
Having been seduced by the man, Frieda didn't mind a bit, especially because she hated Master Man to begin with. Once he acquired the villain's powers, Axl proclaimed himself the new Master Man of the fourth Reich to come, and vowed to conquer the world with Frieda at his side. Still adhering to the Nazi philosophy, Frieda happily went along with this plan.
Of course, the old Master Man, now powerless and despondent about the loss of the woman who never really loved him to begin with, destroyed an electrical box with the intention of killing himself - and everybody else present. This blast was thought to kill all of the Nazi villains present, but Namor never found any bodies in the wreckage.
Since the original Master Man managed to survive this blast somehow, despite his lack of powers, it is assumed that Frieda and Axl live on as well. They are no doubt scheming together to conquer the world, or at least a sizeable portion of it. And, as the two seem to dig each other, they're likely fulfilling Hitler's original plan for her and the original Master Man.
That being the breeding of a new wave of super Aryan warriors...
Using Warrior Woman in Other Stories:
As one of the premiere Nazi interrogators and super soldiers, Frieda could easily be plugged into virtually any evil plot perpetrated during the Golden Age, should it be desired. Of course, doing so would invariably involve her oafish husband, Master Man, who doggedly followed her everywhere she went in hopes of gaining her love (since he had it bad).
In modern times, she has been released from cryogenic storage, and with the second Master Man, presumably works to conquer the world with her own brand of fascist mayhem. This could involve virtually anything, from a reunion of the former Super-Axis to an alliance with the diabolical Red Skull to her own attempts at world domination. Virtually any evil is possible where her mind is concerned.
