The Twelve

The Twelve are a group of (you guessed it) twelve heroes, all of whom barely even knew each other back in the Golden Age, but were brought together by a Nazi plot that inadvertently caused them to rest in suspended animation from 1945 to the recent past. Now attempting to find their places in a world they barely recognize, the Twelve consist of these out-of-date vigilantes:

Golden Age Versions:

Black Widow: Claire Voyant used to work as a false psychic, pretending to be a spirit medium for fun and profit. Of course this got her killed by a man believing her to be a witch, and when she wound up in Hell she was reborn as the Black Widow, the Lord of Evil's own soul collector on earth! Available in Classic and Saga styles!

Dynamic Man: built by the mysterious Doctor Goettler before his death, the Dynamic Man is an artificial being bent on the preservation of law and order. To this end he serves as a fully fledged F.B.I. agent, using his access to their information to handle problems out of their league. The Dynamic Man comes in Classic and Saga styles!

Master Mind Excello: perfect in both mind and body, Master Mind Excello possess an inventor's genius and terrible psi powers! Born as mere Earl Everett, Excello uses his skills, devices and powers in the service of the United States government, fighting its enemies both domestically and abroad. Excello is available in Classic and Saga styles!

Mister E: feeling a burning need to fight the injustices of the world, wealthy sportsman Victor Goldstein (nee Victor Jay) donned the identity of Mister E, and began to fight all manner of crimes on the street - both isolated incidents and those perpetrated by the diabolical Vampire! Mister E is available in Classic and Saga styles!

the Phantom Reporter: champion wrestler, fencer, boxer, and all-American fullback, Dick Jones is a highly motivated journalist who felt the need to use his skills - both physical and mental - in order to bring villains to justice that the system seemed unable - or unwilling - to touch! the Phantom Reporter in Classic and Saga styles!

the Witness: a former Chicago police officer who accidentally shot and killed an innocent man, he received an epiphany during a suicide attempt and was forever charged with being the Witness! Final arbitrer of Justice in the world of mortal man, the terrible things he's seen haunt his dreams...! Available in Classic and Saga styles!

Modern Day Versions:

Black Widow: after her sister was murdered by a mobster the legal system wouldn't touch, Claire Voyant was given an offer she couldn't refuse: the opportunity to gain vengenace! Of course, one should be careful what they say over the grave of a dead relative, for it may cost them dearly... Available in Classic and Saga styles!
