Semi-automatic Pistols (a): Victor carries two of these weapons with him while 'on the job' as Mister E - you never know when some two-bit hood is going to open up on you. He can fire these weapons to inflict his Agility +4 damage, +5 CS if fired in a burst.

Skills:

Boxing (s): though not trained at it, Victor can definitely defend himself without weaponry. Whenever engaging in unarmed melee, Victor may divide his pre-cardplay action score between two such attacks, the last of which occurs as a contingent action.

Contingent Action (a): similarly, Victor can divide his pre-cardplay action score between two Agility-based attacks, such as with his firearms, the second of which will occur as a contingent action (unless he fires both guns at once for a +1 to damage).

Espionage (i): his calling in life, Victor loves to unravel a mystery, typically while active as Mister E. He should receive a reduced difficulty on any applicable actions when attempting to find clues, examine evidence, or otherwise try to solve a crime.

Marksmanship (a): in addition to his considerable hand to hand fighting abilities, Victor can also fire a gun with ease. Whether wielding a standard, semi-automatic or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Victor may do so at a reduced difficulty level.

Calling:

Protector, with a side helping of Vengeance: Victor does what he does because he wants to protect the innocent - particularly those of his own kind, who suffer at the hands of Nazi scum. And where he cannot protect them, Victor strives to avenge them instead.

Costume:

Victor has worn two costumes while active as Mister E. His first primarily consisted of a navy blue three piece suit, which he accented with a black and blue striped tie, blue fedora, a black domino mask, black leather shoes, and a distinctive orange cape.

Later on, Victor mixed up the colors on his costume some. He adopted a brown three piece suit instead, which he accessorized with a brown tie, brown leather shoes, a brown domino mask, light brown gloves, and a red cape (instead of his original orange one).

Personality:

Victor has felt a burning need to fight injustice in the world, particularly that perpetrated by the Nazi party. Unable to deal with anti-Semitism, he has concocted a 'white' identity for himself and his family, in order to help them get ahead in the world.

Story:

Victor Goldstein was an athletic man who had grown up watching how freely people hated his own kind, how readily anti-Semitism flowed in America. Wanting to help his family move up in life, he forced them to hide their true heritage for a time, actually changing their names.

To this end, Victor Goldstein became Victor Jay, and without a name to single them out, the family was able to 'blend in' to the community. A wealthy sportsman, Victor did everything he could to improve his family's lot, even mingling with people who would hate him if only they knew the truth.

However, in truth Victor burned as he heard of one injustice after another the Nazis inflicted upon his people, and felt a need to do something about their madness. Either unable or unwilling to join the military, Victor instead began to train his skills on those society wouldn't miss.

Adopting yet another persona, that of Mister E, Victor began to fight crime - pistols in hand. Honing his skills on the scum of the earth, Victor managed to stop one crime after another, though he eventually managed to develop a nemesis, this man being the so-called Vampire.

This heinous villain, tired of his schemes being interrupted by Mister E, continually set about the murder of his enemy - all the while perpetrating all manner of horrific crimes in the process. However, Victor easily stepped up to the plate and foiled the Vampire's plots over and over.

The ultimate resolution of the conflict between Victor and the Vampire has yet to be revealed, however it is known that Victor did indeed continue his fight against evil (in all its many forms) for the duration of World War II.

Towards the end of that conflict, the U.S. Army drew upon every costumed adventurer it could find in order to help it win the War of Berlin as fast as possible. To this end, Victor joined up with countless numbers of his peers, and with eleven others was given a special assignment.

They were to pacify the S.S. Headquarters. Busting in, they faced little resistance, though this was a feint; upon entering the basement of the structure, these twelve heroes fell into a Nazi trap! Gassed and placed into stasis, they were intended to be eventually dissected for science.

However, their captors were slain by Russians soon after, and as such Victor and his fellow heroes were left unattended, in stasis. They were only recently brought back to life upon their discovery by a construction crew, at which point these Twelve heroes were returned to America.

Offered a place to live while they adjusted to this new, alien era, Victor and company were asked only to do what they always do: fight evil! They all agreed of course, and Victor went about finding his family... which he did. Of course, this was not a friendly reunion at all.

Learning his now sixty-eight year old son hated him for both abandoning him during the War and for hiding his Jewish heritage, Victor broke down upon seeing his dying, aged wife; the last sixty or so years had not been kind to her at all. Grieving and alone, Victor returned 'home'.

His further actions, either solo or with his fellows in the so-called Twelve have yet to be documented.
