Savior (deceased) Strength Agility Intellect Willpower 10x 3x 5x 7x Hand Size: 4 (25) Edge: 2 Origin: The Savior, leader of the Millenias cult, is a paranormal. Apparently empowered by the White Event, a Star Brand-induce astronomical phenomenon, Savior was blessed not with amazing physical powers, but an augmented physique that lets him tower over mere mortal men. Powers: (none) Hindrances / Augmentations: Delusions: the so-called Savior has seemingly bought into the fiction he's generated around his parabilities. Unless he's just a sociopath pretending to be he next messiah, at any rate. Regardless, he is at Willpower zero (0) to temporarily shrug this persona off. Equipment: (none) Skills: Manipulation (w): though he doesn't seem to have many other marketable skills, Savior excels at manipulating others. He can reduce the difficulty of actions intended to sway others to his will, whether he wields fear or some other emotion to pull their strings. Contacts: After he was physically augmented by the White Event, the man known as Savior formed an organization around himself, the Millenias cult. This group of normals were so enamored with him that they worshiped his every word, followed his every command, and would die for him. Additionally, Savior was on decent terms with the underground paranormal organization known as the Forsaken. He may not have been a member of this group, but he was aware of them, and vice versa, and apparently they kept him up to date on current events related to paranormals. Calling: World Domination: while he pretends his motivations are more in line with a calling of majesty, the sad truth is that Savior is just another grifter, one who may or may not be smoking his own product. He really just wants to control others, make them dance to his tune. Costume: The Savior wears an appropriately post-apocalyptic ensemble at all times. It consists of a high collared, black leather vest with studs around the armscyes, spiky black leather wrist bands, black leather trousers, brown leather boots, and a studded red leather belt with a large buckle. Personality: Buying into his own hype, Savior truly believes that he is some sort of messiah. He cloaks his every whim in religious terms, and expects everyone around him to cave in to his every request. Should he not get his way, Savior is more than happy to kill anyone preventing such. Real Name: unrevealed Occupation: grifter Legal Status: citizen of the United States with a likely criminal record, legally deceased Marital Status: single Alias(es), if any: none Group Affiliation: the Millenias Height: 7' 6" Hair: light brown Eyes: blue Weight: 350 lbs Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Savior would look perfectly normal if he weren't so large. He appears like an ordinary person, albeit one scaled up to his current, impressive height. He does wear a long, sinister goatee, however. Story: The background of the man known only as Savior is mainly unknown, though his actions after the White Event blessed the world with its paradoxical energies are. Unlike many paranormals, the Event did well by Savior, granting him incredible physical prowess with little down side. Whether he himself thought that he was some sort of messiah figure or simply played into the beliefs of others, Savior rapidly began to buy into his own mythology, and quickly formed a small church around himself. He called this group the Millennias, and they hung on his every word. Savior's efforts grew more brazen after the Black Event, the utter annihilation of Pittsburgh at the hands of the Star Brand. While he happily fleeced his cult for all their material possessions, the Pitt lent his scripture a more apocalyptic bent, and he sent his flock to steal from others. Eventually, two of his thralls crossed paths with Angela Tensen, daughter of the Justice Killer. This caused the serial killer to investigate the Millenias cult after he dealt with her assailants, at which point he came face to face with the one and only Savior himself. After a fierce debate, a fight inevitably broke out between the two paranormals who each believed themselves to be God's instrument on earth. Wanting to defang Savior's cult, however, Justice refused to wield his powers during this fight, defeating Savior with his bare hands. He didn't kill the man, however, but then he didn't really get the chance. Stepping away from Savior after breaking several of his bones, Justice was surprised when Savior's followers indeed turned on him, beating him to death with any weapons they could get their hands on. While Savior was dead, the damage he inflicted on his followers persisted. They attempted to worship Justice instead of him, once he'd demonstrated his 'real' power, but this only infuriated Justice enough to chase them all off. Not that this ultimately stuck, anyway. Chronology: Justice # 19, Justice # 23 (flashback).
