As is the case with other members of the Oktober Guard, Sgt. Misha is but a normal human, anatomically speaking (not counting his diminutive stature). The man lacks super powers, but sometimes seems super-human, based on his sheer capability as a Spetsnaz operative.
AK-47: a mainstay of Soviet-bloc nations for decades, the AK-47 is tough and dependable. It can be fired to inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage in a single shot, +1 CS damage in a short burst, or +2 CS damage in a full auto spread. It also has a bayonet, doing damage per the blade, below.
Grenade: Sgt. Misha always carries at least one of these devices with him in the field. It can be flung up to an area distant, and will explode to inflict Remarkable (30) Edged Attack (fragmentary) damage to every uncovered target within its detonation area.
Knife: a must for any serious Spetsnaz operative, Sgt. Misha carries a blade on him at all times. His knife is made from Remarkable (30) m.s. materials, and can be used to either cut through items of up to the same m.s. (given some time) or to inflict Edged Attack damage in melee.
Makarov PM Pistol: in the event that his other weaponry is impractical or unavailable, Sgt. Misha keeps this firearm in a handy shoulder holster. It can inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage in a single shot, raised to Good (10) Shooting damage in a short burst of lead.
Detective / Espionage: Sgt. Misha came from the 'old' brand of Spetsnaz, and as such has a wide variety of 'dirty tricks' up his sleeve. Chief amongst them is his ability to dig up information, whether about a crime or an intelligence matter, at a +1 CS.
Guns: naturally, Sgt. Misha knows his way around most firearms, whether built by a Warsaw Pact nation or anyone else. When firing a standard, semi-automatic or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Sgt. Misha may do so as though his Agility score was +1 CS in rank.
Languages / English and Russian: though a native of Russia, Sgt. Misha has mastered English in addition to his mother tongue. He may fluently read, write and speak in either of these languages - a skill that has served him well as an Oktober Guardsman.
Marksman: supplementing his considerable skill with conventional firearms, Sgt. Misha is also quite adept in the use of line of sight weaponry. Whether wielding a mortar or light anti-tank weapon, Sgt. Misha may do so at a +1 CS, ignoring range penalties.
Martial Arts type B: though he's an expert marksman, Sgt. Misha can easily defend himself without weapons - he can fight anywhere, any time. Whether punching, kicking or even biting an opponent, he is allowed to do so at his Fighting rank +1 CS.
Military / Russia: the source of all his marketable skills, Sgt. Misha can thank the Russian Army for his incredible aptitudes. He can easily fight in most any combat unit, and knows the ins and outs of the military command structure quite well.
One of the second 'wave' of Oktober Guardsman, Sgt. Misha can nonetheless rely upon his fellows in a pinch - the Oktober Guard was always a very small, tightly knit unit. Sgt. Misha also has several additional contacts in the Russian military, particularly Spetsnaz operatives.
Sgt. Misha usually wears the same uniform in the field. It includes a green camouflaged, long sleeved shirt, green camouflaged trousers, black leather boots, brown belts, webbing, and holsters, a brown bandoiler, and his signature green pith helmet.
Misha is a tough and determined individual. He's a proud man who loves his country, and fights hard to prove himself to his superiors and to protect his homeland from any perceived threats. He's usually all business on the job, but occasionally gets philosophical at times.
Real Name: Misha L. Zubenkov, Sergeant
Occupation: artillery expert, special ops
Legal Status: citizen of Russia with no known criminal record
Marital Status: single
Alias(es), if any: none
Group Affiliation: the Oktober Guard
Height: 5' 5"

Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Misha wears a long, eastern-style moustache, as well as thick, round-rimmed glasses.
Misha grew up in Smolensk, where his family expected him to continue the family glass business. However, Misha had other plans, and instead enlisted at an early age. He quickly proved himself to be an excellent soldier, and earned his place in the Spetsnaz soon enough.
When most of the original Oktober Guard met its end in the ever-unstable nation of Sierra Gordo, Misha (by now a Sergeant) was recruited to replace some of the fallen. His expertise in artillery as well as special ops, along with his spotless record, made him an ideal candidate.
On his very first mission in the Guard, Sgt. Misha and his teammates were assigned to work alongside the GI Joe team in Sierra Gordo once more, this time to counter the Iron Grenadiers working to undermine the country. While this job was harrowing, it had changed Misha's outlook.
Though a patriot through and through, he learned the value of working with other nations against the threat that Cobra and its flunkies poses. He made a point of doing just that at every opportunity, open to the idea of assistance from other special ops forces against terrorists.
This outlook served Sgt. Misha well, for soon enough the Soviet Union disbanded, and the new Russia was beset by terrorist forces and movements. Calling in all kinds of markers, Misha was able to do his part to help defend his country from unscrupulous actors on a global level.
Though the Oktober Guard was officially disbanded along with the Soviet Union, Misha and his teammates had a tendency to stick together over the years, pulling odd jobs for the government (or those they simply felt necessary) in order to protect Russia and its allies.
Thus, the Guard was ready to oppose Cobra's efforts in their country during World War III, where that villainous organization almost managed to take over the entire planet in one fell swoop. Thanks to Misha and company however, this dreadful fate never came to pass.
Now that the world can no longer deny that forces such as Cobra are a global threat, it's likely that Sgt. Misha and his compatriots have been reactivated in an official capacity by the Russian government, if not the U.N. itself, in order to oppose them and other terrorists!
