Origin:
As is the rest of the Oktober Guard, Stormavik is naught but a normal human, having no special powers of any variety. However, the man is strong, tough and dedicated to his nation above all other concerns, which gives him more motivation than most of his fellow soldiers.
Powers:
(none)
Hindrances / Augmentations:
(none)
Equipment:
AK-47 (a): a mainstay of Soviet-bloc nations for decades, the tough and dependable AK-47 can discharge one round to inflict Stormavik's Agility +4 in damage, his Agility +5 in damage when firing a short burst, or his Agility +6 in damage when fired continuously.
Grenade (i): Stormavik always carries at least one of these devices with him in the field. It can be flung out to near missile distance, and will explode to inflict intensity 10 fragmentary damage to every uncovered target within near missile distance of its detonation area.
Knife (s): a must for any serious Airborne soldier, Stormavik carries a blade at all times. His knife is made from m.s. 12 materials, and can be used to either cut through items of up to the same m.s., given enough time, or to inflict +2 damage in melee.
Makarov PM Pistol (a): in the event that his other weaponry is impractical or unavailable, Stormavik keeps this firearm in a handy hip holster. It can inflict his Agility +4 in damage when firing a single shot, raised to his Agility +5 in damage when firing a short burst of lead.
Skills:
Boxing (s): though he's an expert marksman, Stormavik can easily defend himself without weapons - he can fight anywhere, any time. Stormavik may divide his pre-card play action score between two unarmed melee attacks, the second of which will occur as a contingent action.
Languages / English and Russian (i): while he's a native of Russia, Stormavik has mastered English in addition to his mother tongue. He may fluently read, write, and speak in either of these languages, a skill that has served him well as an Oktober Guardsman.
Guns (a): naturally, Stormavik knows his way around most firearms, whether built by a Warsaw Pact nation or anyone else. When firing a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Stormavik may do so at a reduced difficulty level.
Military / USSR (w): the source of all his marketable skills, Stormavik can thank the Soviet Army for his incredible aptitudes. He can easily fight in most combat units, and knows the ins and outs of the military command structure quite well.
Contacts:
As a member of the original Oktober Guard, Stormavki can readily rely upon his fellows for aid should the need arise; they are a very tight group. Stormavik also presumably has numerous contacts in the Soviet military as well, though these are as of yet unnamed.
Calling:
Soldier: Stormavik is a good exemplar of this calling. The man loves the life of a soldier, as it affords him the possibility of doing great service for his nation. He happily does everything ordered of him, as the team he works for is truly honorable in its actions.
Costume:
Stormavik has worn a consistent uniform over the years. It consists of a gray (sometimes tan) long-sleeved shirt over a blue and white T-shirt and with brown elbow pads, gray (sometimes tan) trousers with knee pads, brown leather boots, green web gear, and a gray (sometimes tan) beret.
Personality:
Stormavik is a patriot who believes in his country, and the values of his leader, Colonel Brekhov. He acts with honor and dignity at all times, and gives every task assigned to him his all - whether he's fighting for his life or simply cleaning out the barracks.

Story:
A Moscow native, Stormavik grew up steeped in the best his large nation had to offer. Constantly exposed to patriotic imagery, the man yearned to enlist in the Soviet army himself, and did so as soon as he was able. Dedicated to his country, he worked hard to prove himself in the military.
Quickly making his way into the Soviet Airborne forces, Stormavik impressed Colonel Brekhov with his dedication to his duties, and the competence with which he executed them. As such, Brekhov invited Stormavik to join his elite anti-terrorist unit: the Oktober Guard!
Elated to serve his country in such a fashion, Stormavik couldn't say no to such an offer, whether he wanted to or not, and quickly took his place on Brekhov's team. He was with them from the very beginning, handling a variety of terrorist threats facing the Union.
Including those posed by Cobra, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world! Most of the Guard's conflicts with this group took place not within the Union proper, but within nations bordering it, such as Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Of course, such conflicts often involved the American GI Joe team as well, since that group was constantly foiling Cobra's schemes - except when it wasn't. Sometimes Stormavik and company would work with the Joes, but most often those two groups would be at cross purposes.
Stormavik served his team and his country with pride, doing so right up to the very end. He met his demise in a seedy South American country called Sierra Gordo, attempting to rescue what he thought was a train full of revolutionaries out to topple decadent capitalist mercenaries.
Though they weren't, really.
