Origin:

Like his brothers, as well as the rest of the Autobots on earth, X-brawn is an electromechanical being from Cybertron. A robot that strives to prevent Decepticon dominion of the universe, this alien may also be from another time period, making him doubly out of place on earth.

Powers:

Cybertronian Physique: like his fellow Autobots, X-brawn is a robotic entity of Cybertronian design and origin. As such, this rugged explorer has, by his very nature, the use of a large variety of abilities that reflect this. His very body gives X-brawn these super-human powers:

* Body Armor (s): made (or formed) from primarily metallic materials, X-brawn is considerably durable. His sturdy, inorganic composition affords X-brawn intensity 8 (+2) protection from attack, enough to make him strongly resistant to most basic human assaults.

* Growth (a): Cybertronians come in all manner of sizes, few of which align with the human norm. X-brawn, for instance, typically stands at about eighteen feet tall in his humanoid mode, which grants him this power at intensity 4 as a general matter of course.

As such, this heavy duty brawler has a +4 size factor. This grants him a +4 bonus to damage he inflicts on normal sized foes, while theirs suffers a -4 against him. Conversely, he suffers a -4 penalty to strike standard sized enemies in the first place, while they gain a +4 to hit him.

* Microscopic + Telescopic Vision (w): all Transformers can alter their visual sensitivity where distance is concerned. Functioning at intensity 2, these powers let X-brawn see objects up to a mile distant with ease, and allow him to read items on microfiche.

* Radio Transceiver (i): as are most Transformers, X-brawn is equipped with an audio / video transmission system. This communications rig allows him instant contact with any other Cybertronian within a wide radius of his person, having intensity 7 range (100 miles).

* Resistance / Invulnerability to Disease and Poison (s): as an inorganic life form, X-brawn possesses complete immunity to poisons and organic diseases. He also possesses intensity 30 (+7) resistance to more chemically creative forms of disease.

Bronco Blaster (i): this side bar detaches when X-brawn transforms, but can be stored on his back when not in use. He can use it in melee to inflict inflict +4 bashing damage, or fire its plasma bolts to inflict intensity 5 energy damage per blast.

Dead Heat Crusher (s): this powerful unit, built into X-brawn's oversized left arm, provides said arm prodigious strength. X-brawn can use it at a +3 to his current Strength score, allowing him to inflict astounding damage under normal conditions - enough to crumble buildings!

Headlights (i): to better emulate earthen vehicles (and since they come in handy in the dark), X-brawn is equipped with a set of convenient headlights. These twin lamps can be used to generate intensity 8 illumination, which make driving at night no problem.

Iron Knuckle (s): inherent to X-brawn's vehicle mode (it's his front bumper), this weapon detaches when he transforms, and makes for a powerful bladed weapon. Usually wielded in his left hand, it allows X-brawn to inflict +2 damage in melee - dead heat crusher enhanced, of course.

Jelling (a): in his vehicle mode, X-brawn is buoyant on most liquid surfaces, though he can only move at intensity 1 speeds when doing so - 15 m.p.h. This power doesn't work in his humanoid mode, though - he tends to sink like a rock if he winds up in water in that shape!

Origin Sense (w) X-brawn has a powerful sensor array that allows him to scan the area around him for Cybertronian life signs. Functioning at intensity 10, these sensors can even display their results in a holographic form, allowing X-brawn to share their findings.

Saber (s): this other sidebar detaches when X-brawn transforms, but can be stored on his back when not in use. He can use this serrated blade in melee to inflict +4 damage with every deadly strike - making it very deadly, considering his Strength.

Shape Change (a): X-brawn can transform between his humanoid and Sport Utility Vehicle mode at will, and often does so quickly for tactical purposes. This power is voice-activated, however ('X-brawn, Transform!'). X-brawn moves at intensity 5 speed in his vehicle mode.

Spark Engine: super-charged by Ultra Magnus' Matrix powers in battle, X-brawn was given a new spark engine to handle this additional energy. When he uses this engine, he transforms from chrome/green to white/green/red in hue in an impressive discharge of power.

In addition to this spectacular visual, this engine grants X-brawn various enhancements. While it costs him -2 on his Agility score, it boosts his already considerable Strength score +2 (!), and allows him to channel +2 amounts of energy through his bronco blaster - not bad at all!

Southpaw Lariat (s): built into his left arm, this powerful weapon has all kinds of nifty applications. It consists of a somewhat maneuverable rocket-powered grappling hook, one which is connected back to X-brawn by an extremely high-strength (20) length of cable.

Primarily, he can use the hook to attempt grappling, grabbing, or bashing attacks upon anything within firing distance of his location. Also, he has demonstrated the ability to use this device to swing from building to building in a Spider-Man ™ like fashion in vehicle mode.

However, this likely causes considerable property damage over time.

Triple Beam Attack (a): when they need to pool their resources, the three Autobot Brothers can combine their weapons to emit a powerful energy assault. This combined blast of spark engine power is potent enough to inflict intensity 19 energy damage per devastating blast.

Hindrances / Augmentations:

Equipment:

(none)

Skills:

Advanced Guns (a): though he tends to prefer toughing it out in melee, X-brawn is quite a good shot with his Bronco Blaster. Since he can presumably utilize other, similar energy-casting weapons with equal skill, X-brawn may wield any such device at a reduced difficulty.

Repair / Tinkering (a): while he's not quite the mechanic that Side Burn is, X-brawn nonetheless knows his way around most devices. When attempting to repair or modify an existing device, X-brawn should receive a reduced difficulty on applicable card play.

Sharp Weapons (s): X-brawn has demonstrated proficiency in just about anything with a blade. As such, when utilizing his saber, his iron knuckle, or any other sharp pointy object, X-brawn may do so without penalty (though not at a bonus, strictly speaking).

Contacts:

X-brawn can readily rely upon his two brothers, Side Burn and Prowl, for assistance should he need it - no matter how he managed to get himself into trouble in the first place. He can also count the other Autobots on earth as allies, as well as the humans Dr. Onishi and Koji Onishi.

Calling:

Explorer: while he does seriously respect his responsibilities as an Autobot warrior, X-brawn sees his journey to earth as one of exploration, as well. It's a brand new world after all, with bizarre terrain previously unimagined, practically begging to be trod on!

Likeness:

In his vehicle mode, X-brawn resembles a chromed Mercedes-Benz ML320 with a two-toned, green rear. In his humanoid mode, he appears to be a rather tall robot comprised of various, oddly-placed components of an SUV.

When in his 'Super X-brawn' form, he has a different color scheme. While so enhanced, he's a primarily white-hued vehicle, with black, red, blue, and green decorations all over the place - a World Rally style.

Personality:

X-brawn is in love with the panoramic vistas that the earth offers, especially those that ordinary vehicles have a hard time functioning on. This Autobot likes nothing more than to rough it out in the wild, where his rustic, rough-natured personality usually shines the brightest.

The eldest of the three Autobot Brothers, X-brawn usually perseveres to encourage his siblings in battle - and any other endeavors.

Story:

The precise origin of the Autobot called X-brawn isn't exactly known. You see, it is known that he comes from Cybertron, as does his fellows, but it isn't known if this is the Cybertron of a parallel earth, or one of the future; this makes things regarding his background rather complicated.

Regardless, it is known that he and the Autobots learned of Megatron's evil designs for earth, and as such they hoofed it to beat the vile Predacon to that world. Arriving literally years before the would-be master of the universe, X-brawn and company had plenty of time to prepare.

Blending into human society by taking on the forms of earthen vehicles, the Autobots acted to help humanity as they prepared for the Predacon onslaught, at the same time building a powerful, global space bridge network that would allow them to drive anywhere on earth within minutes.

Doing his part to blend in, X-brawn assumed a form that best exemplified his personality, that of a Sport Utility Vehicle. When not on active duty, he tends to pose as one of many vehicles of a particularly wealthy young businesswoman, one who enjoys driving him around in the country.

However, he doesn't let his love of the wild terrain of earth get in the way of his duty. He knows that, as the eldest of the Autobot Brothers, his siblings generally look up to him for leadership - and as an example of Autobot excellence. This makes him rather responsible in nature.

Though he isn't obsessed with his responsibilities like Prowl is. He has no problem having fun while on the lookout for Predacon shenanigans, and when he does come across such villainy, he's more than happy to duke it out with them - either alone or with his Autobot fellows!

And they have done so time and time again while Galvatron (nee Megatron) proceeded in his plot to take control of the mightiest Autobot of all: Fortress Maximus! In one battle after another, X-brawn and his compatriots opposed this mad villain's plan to seize Maximus' power.

Once Galvatron located the immense warrior, X-brawn and company shifted their efforts into high gear and, in a great battle, managed to finally defeat him and his many cronies. Locking them up, our hero and his allies then carted 'em to an asteroid penal colony by Cybertron.

X-brawn's further activities since this time have yet to be revealed.
