Technoholic Formula Changes - Year 2!

April 6th, 2000: rewired the lot of the 13, in an effort to (yet again) make it easier to get around in. Of course, this alteration in and of itself is transparent to the casual viewer, unless they pay attention to the url indicator above; if not, you won't see it... at least, not until Sunday...

March 30th, 2000: well, I made another addition to the New Universe handbook, namely by putting together a text file archive of all the materials in the Nightmask arm of that work. All nine characters, as well as the five issue guides, for everybody's gaming convenience. Aren't I just sweet...?

March 23rd, 2000: hah! I've made virtually no progress in my various works whatsoever. Oh, sure, I proofread a few things here and there (it's amazing how many spelling errors I've made in the Nightmask reference alone), but that's about it. A bit here, a bit there, but nothing to write home aboot.

March 16th, 2000: well, I did the character research I needed to on both Scarlett and Stalker, finally finishing up the original thirteen GiJoes, in both Classic and Saga stats. Now, I've just got to get the vehicles and comic book-only characters all written up, and I'm in business...

March 9th, 2000: I've finished Saga conversions of the vast majority of my GiJoe writeups, having gotten all but two of the original Joes finished at long last. Yes, that's right, I finally did my Hawk character description, and cleaned up his stats (they were somewhat 'rough' in Classic).

March 2nd, 2000: went through the Joe section of my GiJoe handbook, and added a nice touch to all of my writeups. Namely, I've stated which gear belongs to which version of the Joe action figure in question, to facilitate the proper use of their stuff depending on the period their used in.

February 24th, 2000: uploaded the New U News feature to the New Universe handbook, having been sitting on that until I was ready to scan in that image from Avengers Forever #12. Also did a little bit of spiffying up of the New U index page, making it just a tiny little bit better for all.

February 17th, 2000: worked out a text file archive of the Mark Hazzard: Merc book, thus finishing out that section of the New U handbook once and for all. Decided to also add text archives to every other handbook, starting with the New U one, though that may take some time to get done...

February 10th, 2000: got the majority of the issue guides worked out for the Mark Hazzard: Merc portion of the New U handbook, leaving only a slight amount of stuff to take care of. Work's interfering with my progress some, but I ought to get all this stuff done here by next week... I hope.

February 3rd, 2000: have done a bevy of work on the Merc branch of the New Universe handbook, having added two summarized issues and - get this - all of the remaining cast members! That's right, folks, I've actually done some solid work for once, can ya dig it? Can ya?? Can ya?!?

January 27th, 2000: finished up my ratings of the various MSH RPG sites out there, and have begun to add several new ones. Also re-vamped my own, personal page. Finally, did a bit of work here and there, further spiffying up the 13 in general, and preparing to do more character write-ups. Woo.

January 20th, 2000: did a bit more work on the links page, finished up that work on the New Universe logos at last (cleaned up the Star Brand and Nightmask images), and cleaned that page up a whole lot. Will be adding even more to that area imminently (stuff in progress).

January 13th, 2000: didn't really get all that much done this week, to be honest. I've been sick a whole lot lately, so I do actually have an excuse for once. Between the flu, bronchitis, weird make-you-dizzy-and-hallucinate mystery illness and my job, I got lots of excuses...

January 6th, 2000: wrote up a whole lot of GiJoe folks for that particular handbook, mostly doing the first three years worth of Cobra goons; the Classic versions are all done, but the Saga write-ups are missing one character, a issue I hope to resolve soon...

December 30th, 1999: have redone most of the New Universe logos, making them less dark and non-glowey, because that effect's so played these days. Making plans to update the GiJoe and New Universe stuff here on my upcoming day or so off (long story / rant).

December 23, 1999: didn't get much done this week, but then, it's the holidays, so what can I say? I've been busy doing holiday stuff, so I ain't got much time for the 13. I started to change those rpex.net buttons back to lit.org ones, though - that's something...

December 16, 1999: moved the 13 back to the newly functioning and all-new lit.org server, meaning yet another move of everything from one location to another on the intenet... bleargh. I know these moves are somewhat tedious, but hey, unlimited storage space!

December 9th, 1999: finding that these character sheets, once all .pdf'd, are becoming exceptionally big for their britches... trying to figure out how to stop that (they're 2 meg zipped). Of course, they're large, but by god they're soooooooooooo beautiful...

December 2nd, 1999: have been playing with several other character sheets for the 13, but I haven't quite got them perfect yet. It has a bit to do with the source material involved, that being the art I'm scanning, but I'm working on beautifying that now, natch?

November 25th, 1999: added an application of my new character sheet to the 13, that being one of Devastator, that ultra rowdy Decepticon from the transformers stories. Hope you like it; the thing is large, but man, is it keen! I'll have a few more Constructicons up shortly.

November 18th, 1999: started to change all the little lit.org buttons to rpex.net buttons, but this is turning out to be highly tedious, so it may take me a bit to get it all done proper-like... hey, I can want to do other stuff now and then, can't I? Hm? Hm??

November 11th, 1999: rebuilt the 13 in its entirety on a new web server, www.rpex.com, as the lit.org dingus seems to have gone away. I hate to leave the place, as my good pal Crowe set that whole affair up for me, but i'm probably safer this way all around in the long run.

November 4th, 1999: did a small bit of maintenance here and there, putting together basic entries for the stars of my online 'comic', Tales From Variant Earth 13. They're currently only MSH Saga versions, but the Classics will show up here soon, mark my words. It's easier, once the research is done...

October 28th, 1999: at long last, I finally resolved the Star Brand portion of the New Universe handbook. Every character, major, minor, or otherwise, has been detailed at length (at least, as much as is possible) so I can at long last lay that beast to bed. Also worked out some kinks in the New U 'book in general.

October 21st, 1999: I didn't really manage to get all that much done this week, thanks to all the time my new job is occupying (both on and off the clock, as it were). However, I did manage to get one of my deluxe character sheets up on the rules page, this one being the non-split stat version.

October 14th, 1999: I hardly got anything done this week. Just started up my new job thing, so most of my time has been occupied. However, I did manage a classic version of the Star Child, further narrowing the amount of actual work I need to do to finish up the Star Brand handbook thing.

October 7th, 1999: finished up about ten of the Star Brand characters, both Saga and Classic, though a majority of these folks are really just second stringer paranormal antagonists. Just leaves me to finish up a few stragglers here and there, and then the Star Brand stuff might (gasp) actually be finished!

September 30th, 1999: well, I finally managed to finish up the Star Brand issue guide this week, as well as an odd character or two. I also fine tuned some of the changes I've been perpetrating on the 13's format of late, as well as an image or two. Doesn't sound like much, but it is...

September 23rd, 1999: just barely began working on the Star Brand issue guide in earnest, after cleaning up a bunch of silly errors I made while reformatting the 13. I also sterilized my html code some more, smoothing it to the nth degree, and worked out a new artsy scheme for the Star Brand stuff.

September 16th, 1999: jumpin' Jesus, what didn't I change? Wiped out the frames and ad banners, changed the Denny heads, added a few solo vintage villains, and even cleaned up my code a bit. Hope you like the new, simplified look of the 13 - took me forever to make it smoother...

September 9th, 1999: finished up the Super-Axis altogether, completing my description of Lady Lotus (from vague, vague descriptions of her capabilities) and got Iron Cross up and running in the vintage age solo villains section. Working on getting a lot more villains in there...

September 2nd, 1999: got most of the Super-Axis described at long last, leaving only Lady Lotus untouched as of yet. Also, I began work on the PlaneScape conversion project, and have so far posted five varieties of clockwork modrons for your gaming pleasure. They're keen!

August 26rd, 1999: so far, I have made Saga conversions of Ronin, Masque, and Silhouette for the v13 e mail game page, and have reorganized the entire MSH section to make it more easily navigable. Working on a few further refinements and graphical modifications.

August 19th, 1999: did a little work on the Core Rules book for the whole Universal Heroes thing, for I was inspired. Added material on FEATs, movement, and a bunch of pretty little reference tables. Will try for more, but we shall see. Also updated the links page (finally).

August 12th, 1999: due to popular demand, I have went ahead and posted what I've already gotten done on one of my nascent projects, the GiJoe handbook. So far, I only have nine older Joes and a bunch of their gear, but that should change soon. After all, there's more where they came from!

August 5th, 1999: well, I posted up another update to the Book of Magic, having finally finished up the schools of magic and most of the basic rules. Also, I started work on the Psi-Force bit of the New U handbook, finally giving them a graphical update to match the rest of the 13. Woo!

July 29th, 1999: well, after my long general hiatus on my web works, I have finally gotten off my butt and done some work on the 13 again. Between then and now, I've made some more graphics changes and the like, and now I'm stoked to get going on the goods once again!

July 22nd, 1999: well, it's been a long three months, and thanks to my crappy job (which I quit), a road trip, and a lot of other bizness, I haven't accomplished much since the last update... crap. I do apologize about that, and plan on rectifying my laziness here shortly.

April 23rd, 1999: posted the beginnings of the Mark Hazzard: Merc part of the New Universe book, which is mostly just a description of Mark Hazzard himself, as well as the first issue guide. Again, this title doesn't have a large cast of characters, so when I get to it, it shouldn't take too long to complete.

April 16th, 1999: made the limited work I've done in the Star Brand section of the New Universe handbook public, which basically consists of a write-up for Ken Connell and the Star Brand itself. Not much, of course, but that's cool. The book itself doesn't have all that many people that really need written up.

April 9th, 1999: with one whole year of web doings behind me, I, Firebomb, am now gearing up to totally finish my existing projects, if simply so's I can get on with it, and do some newer, cooler thingies. For instance, I have at least two more handbooks I want to get my grubby hands into...
