Technoholic Formula Changes - Year 16!

April 8th, 2014: as we conclude this sixteenth year of Technoholic goodness, I leave you with a (once again) completed project. This is because, at long last, my overhaul of the Transformers: Robots in Disguise reference is finished. I've rebuilt all the old text file archives, and even made an all new one for you, which holds everything!

April 7th, 2014: so, uh, wow. As it turns out, I've finished the last character overhaul needed to wrap up my upgrade to the Transformers: Robots in Disguise reference today! This was, of course, an action to clean up Mirage GT, the last Vehicon from that line of toys, who now has a nifty 4C System: Edition 13 variation. Rock?

April 6th, 2014: woo! Knuckling down today, I've sorted out the second to last Vehicon that needed sorting out since I began my massive, Robots in Disguise overhaul. He was Nightcruz, a former Vehicon that turned Autobot when he came back in time with the ghost of Optimus Primal. Or something something. I outdid myself with this one, huh?

April 5th, 2014: the remaining roster of Vehicons (and by extension Robots in Disguise Transformers) that need rehabilitating is quickly disintegrating. This is because today, for instance, I have cleaned up Scavenger's act. That puts me over the hump on these Vehicon overhauls, and all I changed was the addition of a new power. Neat?

April 4th, 2014: I rehabilitated another Vehicon description today, this one being Megabolt's. This guy was something else, repeatedly breaking the Saga system's growth rules, at least until I tweaked them so that they'd work better overall. I think I've finally got them just right though, so here's hoping that you tend to agree!

April 3rd, 2014: so I started work on the Vehicon portion of my Transformers: Robots in Disguise overhaul today, what with there being only six more days remaining in this Technoholic year. Six! This first of five rehabilitations has seen me cleaning up my personal favorite Vehicon, that being Obsidian. I loved me some Beast Machines.

April 2nd, 2014: it's no joke! At long last, I've finally cleaned up the Decepticon (or Destructicon, whatever) roster for my Transformers: Robots in Disguise reference! That's because, just today, I have overhauled what I had made up written for Dreadwind, tweaking his power levels and grammar just a little bit - he wasn't that bad.

April 1st, 2014: I honestly wouldn't fault you for avoiding the Internets today, what with this being 'incredibly tired practical joke' day online. However! For those of you who endure the dumb, I have cleaned up my character descripton of Smokejumper, the second to last Decepticon Destructicon that still needed it in my RiD reference.

March 31st, 2014: since yesterday's update was a slight rehash of an extant character description, what with it being a 'later' version of Scourge, I've got an all new Decepticon Destructicon ovehaul for you today. This latest effort involves Bludgeon, a genius (who's even more of a genius in his own mind) tactician working for Scourge.

March 30th, 2014: since I had him halfway done already, I went ahead and finished up my second, Destructicon version of Scourge. Sure he's mostly got the same background, save for a paragraph or two, but the guy does have a newly reformatted body to work the kinks out of. So I have done precisely that, finishing Scourge once and for all!

March 29th, 2014: what do you know, there's only five more, 2003 Decepticons to go before that Robots in Disguise faction has been completely overhauled. Keeping that in mind, I fixed Jhiaxus up proper today, streamlining his powers and texts, as well as rewriting bits here and there. So, uh, I guess there's really only four of these guys left?

March 28th, 2014: with the five Combatrons that comprise his transient existence finally overhauled, it was high time that I cleaned up what I had for Ruination as well. And I have! I've straightened this massive fellow out once and for all which, as it turns out, also ends my work on the 2001 RiD Decepticons as well. Yay!

March 27th, 2014: woo. It took a bit of doing, what with me rewriting about half of him along the way, but I've revitalized what I had written thus far for the leader of the Combatrons. Yes, Mega-Octane has received a serious tune-up, which means all of Ruination's component Decepticons have been sorted out. Guess what I'm doing next?

March 26th, 2014: similar to how the descriptions of Armorhide and Rollbar seem to have a like construction and or cadence, Ro-Tor is kind of like Movor in tone and general text construction. Either way, I've fixed him up proper now, and he's good to go. And hey, I bet you never thought I'd demonstrate a character with the Inaudibility!

March 25th, 2014: I rehabilitated my Robots in Disguise description of Movor today. This Deception Combatron was a breath of fresh air after the previous two members of that group I fixed, for I apparently didn't hold any truck with 'cloning' text from the others into his description when I first wrote it. He must've... moved me?

March 24th, 2014: hey, it's Monday! Coming at you not-quite live at the beginning of this wonderful (hopefully) week, I have another Decepticon update for you! I took time out of my busy schedule today to overhaul my extant character description of Rollbar, meaning that two of the five Combatrons (minus Ruination, of course) are done!

March 23rd, 2014: welcome back, for more Technohol! I'm starting my overhaul of the last 2001 Decepticons from the Transformers: Robots in Disguise's roster: the Combatrons! First in line for a touch-up is Armorhide, the team's (rather small) tank, who needed a whole lot of fine tuning and grammatical fixing, but hey, he's good now.

March 22nd, 2014: I was going to start in on the Combatrons today, but instead knuckled down and rehabilitated my entry for Scourge, instead - well, his first form, at least. What's cool about this is that, upon finishing him up, I've wrapped up all the 2002 Robots in Disguise Decepticons. So I guess now we're on to 2001's. Again. Yay!

March 21st, 2014: since I rehabilitated Wind Sheer yesterday, I overhauled my description of Skyfire today. I'm rather distressed at how similar these two are to each other, in everything but personality and make and model. But then their tech specs are virtually identical, and they had no cartoon presence to help mold them, so there's that.

March 20th, 2014: the original plan for today was to clean up what I had for the first Robots in Disguise Scourge figure, which covered his activities through the end of the animated series. This would've wrapped up the 2002 Decepticons, after all! However, time was short, so I went ahead and took care of Wind Sheer, instead. Eh?

March 19th, 2014: did you know? Robots in Disguise's Galvatron has a lot of powers. I mean a lot of powers. Egad. In revitalizing his character description, my brain oozed out my ears a couple times, for he's got like thirty of them - even more than his predecessor, Megatron, does. At least he's all cleaned up now. Hooray for OCD?

March 18th, 2014: I'm beginning to wrap up the Robots in Disguise reference's overhaul once and for all. I've started this by working on the biggest chunk remaining, the Decepticon roster. The first fellow I've hit as a part of this is Axer, who despite being human sized and thus easier to describe, has an inexplicable background.

March 17th, 2014: while preparing to resume work on the Robots in Disgusie thing, to hopefully wrap it up by the end of this Technoholic year, I went over some dudes to remind myself how I was doing Saga conversions of the RiD Tech Specs. Because I'm a clown and I forgot. And found that I'd borked Ultra Magnus. But he's fixed now!

March 16th, 2014: so, now that I've concocted the Fiery Mask, I can now go back and splice the poor guy's powers into the Phantom Reporter's modern entry, since poor Jack gave Dick his powers with his dying breath... give or take. So yeah, that guy's all wrapped up as well. Now there's only Five more members of the Twelve to go! Er.

March 15th, 2014: like the Black Widow, the Fiery Mask experienced a vast overhaul to his back story upon being brought into the modern age of Marvel. However, his at least received some sort of explanation for the change. At face value it makes sense, though Jack's whole rationale for making up a different origin is simply bizarre - but eh.

March 14th, 2014: it may not have remotely surprised you, but needing information about the Fiery Mask's powers to complete my modern day variation on the Phantom Reporter, I've gone ahead and built an all new entry in my Timely Heroes character reference for him. And Jack Castle is possibly the weirdest Golden Ager ever.

March 13th, 2014: so with his Golden Age variation complete, I have rebuilt the Phantom Reporter to reflect his current reality... mostly. With one glaring exception. You see, he now has the incredible powers of the Fiery Mask, a legacy of might that hero passed on as he died, and... I haven't researched that hero yet. So stay tuned for more?

March 12th, 2014: with only one extant member of the Twelve remaining in my Timely Heroes reference, I have gone ahead and overhauled my Golden Age character description of the Phantom Reporter. This mostly saw me rewriting his history to account for his extensive appearance in the recent Daring Mystery Comics anniversary issue.

March 11th, 2014: so as it turned out, in my overhaul of the Black Widow, I left out two of her supernatural abilities. One was more obvious than the other, but I was so focused on her revised origin story that I didn't really tune into her additional powers. So yeah, sorry about that. Either way though, her entry is a lot more correct now!

March 10th, 2014: though I began this last Technoholic month of the year by ironing out the penultimate member of the so-called Twelve I've built so far that needed it, today I've went and sorted out his modern day existence. Yeah, that means Mastermind Excello's current version is now extant in the generic, 'Marvel' portion of the 13.

March 9th, 2014: to reconcile the 'old' Mastermind Excello with what was revealed about him in the Twelve miniseries, I had to reconfigure his entire origin, as well as add six new psionics to his roster, change his personality, appearance, talents, contacts, and even fix a bunch of rulesy errors. So yeah, all new description.

March 8th, 2014: when reintroduced to modern Marvel comics, some Golden Age heroes have more added to their extant origins, while others have what has been published retconned somewhat. On the other hand, people like Black Widow see their origins completely altered, without explanation, leaving it to folks like me to ask 'Huh?'

March 7th, 2014: continuing on my big, final push to wrap up my overhaul of the Vintage Age Timely Heroes reference, I have cleaned up my description of the original, Golden Age Black Widow. Lots of grammar fixes, and of course the discovery that whoever made her wikia entry lifted my awful old text for it whole hog. Haha.

March 6th, 2014: I have crafted the modern day version of the Dynamic Man today, and boy did this take some work. On top of the obvious and extensive addition to his history, I had to add a few new powers, remove his equipment, add a quirk, modify his law enforcement, rewire his contacts, and a few other little tidbits. Eesh!

March 5th, 2014: though the last few days have been odd, I've resumed my work on the extant entries for the Twelve in my Timely Heroes reference, and have now overhauled what I had for the Dynamic Man. I added a new skill and his weakness to 'lantholum', as well as characteristic information (height, weight, etc.) that I previously lacked.

March 4th, 2014: similar to yesterday, I didn't quite get on with actual updating of the site's content proper. But this is for a good reason, for I've finally purchased the first of three very very expensive software packages I've been needing for the 13's betterment. It just took a good long time for me to download and install it, sorry.

March 3rd, 2014: sorry for the interruption in my planned upgrade of Dynamic Man, but I've apparently spent all of my time today sorting out a weird html issue that has crept into the site, and I'm not quite sure how, since I'd only intended to make a minor change to the formatting. Feh bah. Hopefully you didn't see the 13 crash!

March 2nd, 2014: what with my having updated the Golden Age Mister E yesterday, I'd be surprised if you didn't see his Modern variation coming up today. So that's exactly what I've done, detailing Mister E's history and various changes through the last issue of the Twelve. And since he hasn't been seen since, I guess his retirement 'stuck'.

March 1st, 2014: hey, it's already March! To start out this third month of the year, how about we clean up another of our extant entries for the Twelve! This latest overhaul is for Mister E, who doesn't have a whole lot of game mechanics to worry about, really, being unpowered. But I did go ahead and add a new talent to the guy, for flavor.

February 28th, 2014: it's the end of February! To celebrate the occasion, I've gone and tweaked my modern day variation on the Witness, my personal favorite member of the Twelve. It's too bad that we haven't seen him since that series' end, what with SHIELD seemingly recruiting up Golden Age heroes by the truckload these days.

February 27th, 2014: continuing my work on the Timely Heroes reference, since I'm experiencing an aversion to further proofreading at this time, I have started work on its last unfixed area: the roster for the Twelve. Now that I have all of this series, I'll be able to finish this group, starting with my overhaul of... the Witness!

February 26th, 2014: as I modernized the variations of Baron Blood I have documented for the Golden Age, I found some issues here and there that needed fixing. I have corrected Spider Queen's group affiliation data, as well as adding another talent to the Winter Soldier (as if he needed one), accounting for his SHIELD mind control defense.

February 25th, 2014: with the three Golden Age variations on Baron Blood finally worked out, what with him being such an involved character, I've gone and produced the modern day version of that fellow. So at long last the Super-Axis is sorted out, and I'm left with naught but six more characters before the Timely Heroes thingy is current!

February 24th, 2014: as a precaution, since I found so many terrible (to me) things in the Universal Heroes' pages I've modified of late, I'm doing another round of proofreading for the first four 4C System: Edition 13 documents today. I found a few more things begging for a fixin' this time around, and have indeed inflicted them upon the text.

February 23rd, 2014: having discovered the problem with my recent overhaul of my custom rules' pronoun placement, I have spent my time today giving the Universal Heroes text modified thus far another proofing. And while the expected issues were minimal, I found a lot of other things that needed fixing. Again. This thing'll never be ready for print. Sigh.

February 22nd, 2014: with everything else sorted on his Golden Age version, I thought I'd finally wrap up my Saga variation on Baron Blood. As with the last of these, I found more fixes to both the other Blood descriptions and my generic Vampire thingie, so I've fixed up both anew. See, we're getting better and better by the day!

February 21st, 2014: similar to some of the bonuses I encountered upon building up that Edition 13 Baron Blood yesterday, I noted a couple grammatical problems with my actual, generic vampire entry I'd built for my custom rules business. Luckily, I was able to get around to fixing all that stuff today, 'cause I'm awesome. LOVE ME

February 20th, 2014: so yeah, more of the same from yesterday, I suppose - only this time, I've done the same for the 4C System: Edition 13 version of that same document. Though upon doing this, I've found I may have introduced a few curious grammar problems when fixing the pronoun problems in the rules' first four documents. Well, crap.

February 19th, 2014: since I'm trying to jump back and forth between the two portions of the 13 I'm working on right now, to prevent any one of them from driving me batty, I've switched back to the custom rules again, and have fixed various pronoun issues in the Universal Heroes' version of the Space and Movement document.

February 18th, 2014: a rather long entry, it took me all of the Technoholic time I'd allotted myself today simply to craft the 4C System: Edition 13 variation on my Baron blood character description. Plus side? I found a bunch of bad grammar that I could fix back on the original, Universal Heroes counterpart to this work.

February 17th, 2014: looking back at the so-called Super Axis, I've done a Universal Heroes revision of their last untouched member: Baron Blood! This guy was rather involved, me having to rebuild his entire, uh, everything from scratch, so I called it a day upon having wrapped this part up. I'll hit his other Golden Age versions tomorrow!

February 16th, 2014: having cleaned up (more or less) the Ranks and FEATs document, I've gone and done the same for its Rank Values and ACTs counterpart. I was trying to do these simultaneously, but for some reason I actually broke the text up differently than a mere, straight conversion. So that didn't quite work as intended. Ah well.

February 15th, 2014: moving back to the custom rules portion of the 13, I have perused the Ranks and FEATs document, and found a whole lot of pronoun problems. I believe I've resolved all of these, making things more inclusive overall. Except, of course, in the case of a specific example or two, but then those are specific, aren't they?

February 14th, 2014: oddly enough, Lady Lotus has been busy since the 1940s - the thing is, she has been active under the name Lotus Newmark. I've incorporated all her recent history, as well as her new Longevity power, into her modern day character description. I always wondered what this villain was up to since the War.

February 13th, 2014: taking a gander at the ringleader of the Super-Axis, I've overhauled what I had for Lady Lotus today. I updated her history to account for a 2010 appearance that took place both in the past and the present, added details on a mysterious 'power gem' she had acquired, and added both a new talent and a new quirk.

February 12th, 2014: having figured out all the changes the Universal Heroes' Ability Scores document needed to be more gender neutral, I have ported those modifications over to the 4C System: Edition 13's Traits page. Of course, in doing so I found a few more that were unique to this specific document, so I've gone and fixed them, too.

February 11th, 2014: so I went through the The CASE version of the Ability Scores document, and found a distressing array of pronoun problems. Being male, I tend to write 'he' and 'him' a lot when describing generic people, and am trying to fix that. So I have gone and done precisely that, to be more gender neutral.

February 10th, 2014: spent a bit of time cleaning up some oddities I'd found in the Variant Earth 13 portion of the site. A few rosters missing folks (that were already complete), a bunch of odd grammatical errors in some of the Electronicists' League entries, and, uh, something involving some of the actual html code I used on one page. Sorry.

February 9th, 2014: starting out our eleventh month of this, the sixteenth year of Technoholic goodness, I have refined what I had extant for the modern day Master Man. Of course he's quite dead, having been replaced not once, but twice, so this wasn't too hard. But at least what I've got for this cretin is all polished once more.

February 8th, 2014: getting back on the remaining remnants of the Timely Heroes reference that need fixing, I've overhauled my Master Man description today. I added a new power to this guy, to account for his ability to withstand staggering abuse and downright character death, and of course fixed many, many glaring spelling errors.

February 7th, 2014: I went ahead and ported all the fixes to the text I made in the Edition 13's Introduction page to its Universal Heroes counterpart today. Luckily this page didn't have any actual pronoun problems, but there were a few minor bits of verbiage I didn't like, so at the very least this makes it all even better now. Yay!

February 6th, 2014: upon my quick revisit of the 4C System: Edition 13 materials I'd produced thus far, I saw that I'd made a lot of pronoun errors in the text all over the place. Thus, I started to resolve this by performing yet another read-through of everything, starting with the Introduction. And I fixed one or two minor things here.

February 5th, 2014: having gone through the pain in the butt that was U-Man's Golden Age overhaul yesterday, I found that piecing his modern day variation back together was a snap. This guy's been pretty consistent since his appearances in the Invaders, and doesn't seem to have changed all that much since his first appearances in the 1950s.

February 4th, 2014: so I have upgraded my Golden Age description of the fascist U-Man today. And boy, did he need upgrading! As it turns out, I totally hashed the spelling in just about every portion of his character description - and nobody bothered to tell me. Thanks? Anyway, I've cleaned him up at long last. Which makes me feel better.

February 3rd, 2014: luckily, the Character Generation document has no random power generation tables to work my way through, so I'm already halfway done before starting up today. With that in mind, I wrapped up my link verification process on this Edition 13 page by ensuing that all of the quirks tables are working right. And they are!

February 2nd, 2014: I've got Red Bull ™ and I'm ready to roll! It occurred to me, by random happenstance, that I never actually texted the links in the Edition 13's Character Generation document, so I've started in on that today, fixing the character origin links up top, and going through all the skills and contacts tables.

February 1st, 2014: so in the event that you haven't twigged to my basic operating plan this last month or two, it may be a surprise that I've produced the modern day version of the Warrior Woman today. Even if someone else, of a much more heroic bent, has taken ahold of that name of late. But yeah, that's one of the Super-Axis down!

January 31st, 2014: I've decided to round out this first month of 2014 by starting in on the last group of villains I've made descriptions of so far in my Timely Heroes reference: the Super-Axis! I've started out with Warrior Woman, significantly upping her Strength, fixing her name (it's been changed, I guess), and a whole lot more!

January 30th, 2014: as it turns out, nothing's been going on with Agent Axis since the last time I built his 'modern' version. Sure, he'd been spiritually ravaged by some Nazi kooks to use his disturbed mind as a template for their android bug-things, and then tortured by Thin Man postmortem, but other than that, nothing.

January 29th, 2014: so I took a moment to streamline the Timely Solo Villains' roster text, since it needed it, and then did the same to the last unmodernized character in there: Agent Axis! There haven't been many serious revelations about this guy since I first built his descriptions, so this wasn't too hard, at least. Yay!

January 28th, 2014: similar to my lack of serious work yesterday, I have completed the modern version of the Asbestos Girl - I mean, the Asbestos Lady. I didn't have to add a whole lot, though, 'cause she's dead. She apparently died of mesothelioma off-panel some time in Marvel's past - hoist by her own petard, and all that.

January 27th, 2014: continuing my work to finally sort out those Timely Solo Villains once and for all - well, those I've already covered, at least - I have turned my steely gaze towards the Asbestos Girl. And all things considered, sorting her description out was a lot easier than it was with Brain Drain. She's got no powers!

January 26th, 2014: rebuilding the Brain Drain in his modern day took a bit of work. Sure, he didn't acquire any additional powers upon his modern revival in the original Alpha Flight series, but he did pick up a whole lot of background. And he's been seen, both on and off camera, in several additional books set in the past recently.

January 25th, 2014: I'm taking a break from the Edition 13 stuff for a bit, since I've reached a handy dandy breaking point, thus freeing up a bit of time for my work on the Timely Solo Villains roster - what's left of it. This is why, today, I have given the diabolical Brain Drain a serious overhaul today - and added his Edition 13 variation!

January 24th, 2014: so I'm finally done with this. Yes, the verification of all my links in the 4C System: Edition 13 of the Manual of the psi is at last complete. I have achieved this feat by wrapping up my pass through of the random theonic power generation tables, finding only an erroneous cost on the Nature Resistance power.

January 23rd, 2014: still lying, as you may have guessed, but I have gone and built a fifth and final 'example' dwarf for use in the Variant Earth 13 campaign - if only because. She is the Lady At, a psimotive dwarf who works for a legal firm in a very popular planar crossroads town that we tried very hard not to name. For reals.

January 22nd, 2014: it's the penultimate chapter in my verification of the Manual of the Psi's Edition 13 random power generation table links. This eighth installment of such has seen me ensuring that all of the links to the technopsi powers are working right, and they were - though I found slight problems with the Knowledge power listing.

January 21st, 2014: so I lied. I was going to perform a bit more work on the Timely Heroes Solo Villains, but I needed a small break. So I went over my Variant Earth 13 stuff, and realized that I was about done with my entry for dwarves, save for one or two sample folk. So I made one - an inveterate burglar known as the Slaggregator!

January 20th, 2014: I've gone through another block of random power generation tables for the 4C System: Edition 13 version of the Manual of the Psi today, this time focusing in on the superpsi discipline. Everything in the actual Manual was okay, but I had Ultimate Skill listed wrong on the Powers document, so i repaired that. Woo?

January 19th, 2014: since I got his 'old timey' version done two days ago, you probably guessed I'd be ironing out what I had for the modern day Iron Cross. If so, you'd be right! I mostly just had to account for a few new abilities his armor acquired after he was invited into the V-Battalion for some reason. Oh, and being dead.

January 18th, 2014: crossing the two thirds mark in my Manual of the Psi Edition 13 random power generation tables link verification process, I have today gone over the massive undertaking that is the psipathic power discipline. I swear there are more of these than anything else in the Manual, but at least they were all good, right?

January 17th, 2014: taking on another of my neglected Timely Solo Villains, I've cleaned up the Golden Age version of the Iron Cross. While most of his material was in order, poor Helmut needed a bit of grammatical enhancement, as well as a few tweaks to his Saga version's power suits - most of his attacks are now Agility based.

January 16th, 2014: hitting the halfway point of my link verification efforts on the 4C System: Edition 13 version of the Manual of the Psi, I have gone through all the random psimotive power generation tables. And as it turned out, I'd flubbed up the telelocation power on both skills tables. But hey, I've fixed them now!

January 15th, 2014: I'm taking another swing at the remaining Timely Solo Heroes in disrepair today, and my current target is the Cold Warrior! Of course I wound up moving him to the 'miscellaneous' portion of the 13, since his activities take place after the newer cut-off for inclusion in the Timely Heroes reference, but eh.

January 14th, 2014: continuing my on again, off again effort to verify all the Edition 13 Manual of the Psi's random power generation table links are working properly, I've worked over the psimantic discipline of such today. As it turns out, everything was hunky dory, and I didn't have to really worry - at least, this time.

January 13th, 2014: I worked over another of my Timely Solo Villains today, this time taking a peek at the one and only Gary Gaunt. I have built his 4C System: Edition 13 variation after cleaning up what I had for his Classic and Saga versions, both of which were in pretty good order (save for his missing Fangs power... whoops).

January 12th, 2014: o hai, time for more link validation - because someone's got to. Subjecting the random psikinetic power rolling tables in my Edition 13 version of the Manual of the Psi to my hairy eyeball, I have ensured that each link within such works properly. Which now has me being one third though the verification of these.

January 11th, 2014: doing another overhaul of another Timely Solo Villain, I've cleaned up what little I have for the Green Terror. This guy was the villain of the singular appearance of the 3Xs, and was never revived for another use - but then, few Golden Age villains were. Even if this weirdo was clearly more human than human.

January 10th, 2014: picking up the 4C System: Edition 13 Manual of the Psi for another round of link checking, I went through all the metapsi powers this time around. And I found a problem with both the regular and casual link for Density Control / Self - though I think this error was also extant in the old-style 4C Manual, too.

January 9th, 2014: as an experiment, I have re-enabled all the bits of Google code that I had woven into the structure of the 13. I was checking to see if they were working again, and not slowing down the entire site for whatever reason that they were. And they were playing ball again, so I've allowed them to remain on for the time being.

January 8th, 2014: having sorted out the train wreck that was the two Matsus, I return to the Timely Solo Villains collection to update another member of this infamous roster. Today's effort has seen me overhauling the grammar of, and tweaking the power levels of, the one and only Komtur - the Teutonic Knight! Enjoy or something?

January 7th, 2014: back to the 4C System, I guess. Woo? Though it'll take me a bit, I've begun my long slog through the error checking on the Edition 13 Manual's random power generation table links. I started this process with the empathic powers tables, verifying that all six of them are in working order. And hey, they are!

January 6th, 2014: completing my work in dividing my entry for Matsu into two distinct character descriptions, since that's what he seemingly is, I have produced my page for 'just' Matsu - since the second didn't have a first name. I think I preserved his uniqueness, though I did reference the other Matsu, since you never know.

January 5th, 2014: doing another round of link verification for the Edition 13 verison of the Manual, I have checked all the 'section' links (to skills, or enhancements, etc.) as well as those belonging to the actual quirks tables. All of these seem to be working just fine, so perhaps I am getting better with this moving stuff around thing?

January 4th, 2014: having researched Matsu once more, I've found that I disagree with my previous assessment, and that the two appearances of this character are actually two different people - who just happen to have the same job. Or something? So I have split off the first into his own description, in the Fugitives area of the Timely Heroes.

January 3rd, 2014: with the newly formatted 4C System: Edition 13's Manual of the Psi now live, I have to go through and check all of its many and various links to ensure that the thing is, in fact, functional. After deleting the old files just in case, I have gone through and verified all the skills and contacts links work.

January 2nd, 2014: alternating between rules work and character work to keep my sanity, I switched back to the Timely Heroes thing today, if only to start my work on its solo villains. I started on this small-ish section of the 13 by rehabilitating my description of Timely Comics' most bizarre villain ever, the armless Tiger Man!

January 1st, 2014: so now I have to get used to writing 2014 every time I update the 13. Bleah. Anyhow, I am continuing my work to streamline my custom rules section, primarily by adding all the extant 4C System: Edition 13 material back in. Today I've crafted an untested version of the Edition 13 Manual in its new formatting.

December 31st, 2013: goodbye, 2013 - a year we at the 13 loved due to irrational numerological impulses. And by 'we' I mean 'me'. Because neuroses. Anyway. I ended 2013 by taking a break from rules-y stuff, and updated the one and only, and probably totally insane, Moon-Man! I love this guy. Platonically, of course.

December 30th, 2013: since I've written all of the many and various powers my 4C System: Edition 13 rules will use, I just had to make them all public again. To this end I rebuilt the Powers document for the Edition 13 material from the ground up, and have since made it public as well. Which just leaves all the special origin stuff.

December 29th, 2013: having 'generalized' the text blurbs for each portion of my many and various custom rules, to be system-neutral, I thought I'd go ahead and start adding in the 4C System: Edition 13 stuff I've got ready for such. This rules out all the special origin bits, and the powers document, but the basics are ready.

December 28th, 2013: as I intend to link to each portion of each of the rule systems I intend to support from a singular index document, to make the 13's navigation simpler, I thought it wise to make the text linking to each individual rules page system neutral. And this is precisely what I have taken care of today!

December 27th, 2013: I'd been meaning to streamline the link structure of the 13's custom rules for a bit now, and I finally got around to that today, eliminating that 'in-between' link in lieu of a single index page which will link to all my books, no matter what system they're for. Though I have to add the Edition 13 stuff back in, yet.

December 26th, 2013: over the last few days of work on the Deionomicon, I've been noticing that the site has been dragging - and hard. As it turns out, all of the tiny snippets of Google code I was using to better make use of the site were holding everything back, so I've gone and disabled them for the time being. Stupid Google, anyway.

December 25th, 2013: Ho. Ho. Ho. Merry XXX-Mas! Just in time for this most commercialized of holidays, I have a great gift for you. Yes, you! This is because today I have finished proofreading the Deionomicon, having hit all the 'main' text of such - and fixing a few things, including an errant random rolling table. Enjoy, I say!

December 24th, 2013: I proofread both the Deific Powers and Faith Powers rosters today - all twenty-four godly abilities. And as it turned out, I needed to fix Apotheosis, Avatar, Commandment, Disengagement, Exaltation, Genesis, Immortality, Nature Resistance, Omnipotence, Quintessential Variation, and Signature Power. Beh.

December 23rd, 2013: with the actual rules sorted out, I completed the absolute final writing required for the Deionomicon today, that being two paragraphs at the beginning of each of this guide's power roster pages. So yeah, I just wrote little blurbs on top of the Deific Powers and Faith Powers documents today. And now: proofreading!

December 22nd, 2013: hey, it's my birthday. My fortieth birthday, in fact. Yay. To celebrate or something, I've finished the last actual rules required for the Deionomicon, the power description for Abstraction. It's something of a variant on immortality, which comes with about as much power, but with a whole lot less freedom. Check it!

December 21st, 2013: with the Divine Roleplay portion of the Deionomicon complete at last, I thought it a good time to proofread it, just in case I murdered some grammar with my exuberance. I didn't, strangely enough, but I found a variety of places in which the text could flow better, so I have changed the verbiage appropriately.

December 20th, 2013: I went ahead and hammered out the rules for pantheons today, the last bit of optional 'crunch' I had in mind for the Deionomicon when I first set out to write the thing. This essentially completes the text for the Divine Roleplay section of this body of work - and the actual Deionomicon itself. Save for one power, anyway.

December 19th, 2013: pounded out more optional rules for the Deionomicon today, this time going on about poaching. The idea is that when gods accumulate faith they'd rather not use, they may not wield it, since it might affect how they'd prefer to behave. And if they don't want it, someone is always waiting in the wings to take it!

December 18th, 2013: sort of stuck on the fine points of Abstraction, so I went ahead and built out one of the optional roleplay rules for the Deionomicon. These basically describe the simple process of pilfering, that being the claiming of faith accumulated on the non-divine - you know, when people worship rocks, hills, or other inanimates.

December 17th, 2013: hey hey! I've continued my work on the Deionomicon's deific powers, having wrapped up the fifth of these six abilities. Yeah, big power roster, I know. Anyway, I've sorted out Preincarnation today, which is like regular Reincarnation, except that it reaches through the timeline to work, saving you, er, time!

December 16th, 2013: thought I'd work out the description of another deific power for the Deionomicon today, since most of these are rather straight-forward - and passive in nature. Today's addition to this small power roster is Reincarnation, an ascendant ability which lets you, er, reincarnate whenever you die for whatever reason.

December 15th, 2013: while mulling over the crunchy 'optional rules' portion of the Deionomicon, some of the last bits that need written, I went ahead and finally put the actual text of the Immortality power down on paper (well, electrons, but whatever) after culling a bit of the Apotheosis ability for it. That's three down, three to go!

December 14th, 2013: though I thought I was done with the 'meat' of the Divine Roleplay portion of the Deionomicon, it occurred to me that I hadn't accounted for faith that can accumulate through means other than direct worship - in other words, superstitions and the like. So I have gone and added the 'Serendipitous Faith' section in.

December 13th, 2013: returning to the Deionomicon once more, I've crafted the Character Advancement portion of the Divine Roleplay section in that document. These guys mostly handle like textbook characters, so there wasn't a lot of customized rules required - save for the bit about players being able to earn faith powers as a power stunt.

December 12th, 2013: when preparing to write the character advancement rules for the Deionomicon, I realized that I'd created a sort of 'hole' in my system for weighing the cost of powers: namely, in raising the ranks of powers with Karma. I've thus added a blurb to the Living and Dying document which installs the proper multiplier when doing so.

December 11th, 2013: I have written the last 'faith' text for the Divine Roleplay portion of the Deionomicon. I think, anyway. This series of paragraphs is a short description of the perils of faith, in that using such energies generated by groups who view one differently than they really are may compel them to behave as that group wishes.

December 10th, 2013: hindsight being twenty twenty, I found that I needed to add two very important paragraphs to the point-based character generation text. These indicate that players need not spend points on a bonus inherent ability their origin provides for, unless they wish to expand it further, and reminds players about deific device limitations.

December 9th, 2013: at the beginning of a new Technoholic month, I'm ending work on something that's been kinda holding me back. Luckily, my internet and the Technohol's web server both seemed to be playing ball, so I've completed my error checking of the Deionomicon's random power generation tables. I didn't break any of their links. Yay!

December 8th, 2013: I'm on the second of three days worth of work verifying that I have no broken links in the Deionomicon's random power generation tables. I also re-checked the faith powers table, just in case I missed something in my exuberance when I first built the thing. As it turns out though, all these links are good so far.

December 7th, 2013: started slogging through my error checking of the Deionomicon's random power rolling tables for its character generation section. I've divided the powers into roughly three blocks, so that my inexplicably slow internet doesn't bore me to tears during the long time it is taking to verify these links actually work.

December 6th, 2013: continuing my error checking through the Deionomicon's random character generation rolling tables, I've verified that the quirks tables all work well. I think I've worked all the kinks out of these tables, but I still have to make sure since nobody out there is telling me when they find stupid errors. Which is okay.

December 5th, 2013: I have started the arduous task of checking all the links embedded within the random character generation tables of the Deionomicon, to write this section off before composing more text for the last portion of this work. Today's work saw me verifying that the talents and contact links were golden. And they are.

December 4th, 2013: with most of the Deionomicon's Character Generation text proofread and such, I did this same work for the bits I hadn't covered yesterday. Thus, the systematic (point-based) character generation rules, along with the tiny paragraph at the end about filling in the blanks, has been streamlined as well. Ta Da!

December 3rd, 2013: though I worked over thirteen hours at work today (not counting the unpaid lunch), I took time out of my breaks to proof all the text I'd added to the Deionomicon's random character generation rules. Because I'm here for you! I tweaked a bunch of the grammar, fixed a pronoun issue or two, and generally made it better.

December 2nd, 2013: hoo hah! I took time out today to get the Character Generation portion of the Deionomicon written. All of it. Yeah, I had the random rolling tables sitting pretty down there, I know, but I had to produce / modify the text from the TXT to make it work. And I have done so - subject to any requisite revisions, of course.

December 1st, 2013: uh oh, the calendar year is almost over! Guess I'd better get cooking on the Deinomicon, huh? Oh wait, I did just that today, possibly straining my brain to the limits. However! My mind bending has provided results, for I have added a blurb about abstracts to the Deific Deviations portion of the Deionomicon. Enjoy!

November 30th, 2013: in trying to sort my head out to write the previously unplanned text blurb in the Deific Deviations portion of the Deionomicon for abstracts, I have re-read the first two sections of this work. Once again, I found a few things that could use a bit of fixing, so I have done just that, ironing my text out even more.

November 29th, 2013: I have proofread the 'intro' text for the Divine Roleplay portion of the Deionomicon whilst at work today, and have made many corrections and rearrangements. The material is overall much better in execution, so I think you'll like it better. I also planned out what else I have to produce for this great work. Woo?

November 28th, 2013: having moved the text I'd written about faith into the Divine Roleplay portion of the Deionomicon, I thought now would be a good time to write the 'intro' text for that section. And I have! The Deionomicon is now shaping up to be more in line with the other expansions to my custom rules set, so parity has been preserved.

November 27th, 2013: it occurred to me, upon comparing what I've made for the Deionomicon so far to my three other origin guides, that I'd wandered off the ranch. As such, since I'm trying to be consistent, I rolled what I wrote for the 'faith' section thus far into the 'divine roleplay' section. That text is all still around, though!

November 26th, 2013: performed a few more minor alterations to the Deionomicon this time 'round. I tweaked the old Treatise's power category tables to remove the 'neutered' one, and replaced the 'optional' one with the ones deific beings will use. I also renumbered many of the tables, since I added and subtracted a table yesterday.

November 25th, 2013: made some minor modifications to the Deionomicon. I mainly built the random rolling table for faith powers, and then tested them out to ensure I didn't introduce any stupid errors into the document. I also readjusted the balance for Nature Resistance - in light of other resistances, it seemed overly costly.

November 24th, 2013: having decided on the final roster of deific powers and faith powers the Deionomicon will be using, and having realigned all twenty of the twenty-four powers required to make it work, I've produced the two 'accessory' documents that collect them all into one place. Even if the deific powers page only has two so far. Heh.

November 23rd, 2013: grabbing the final theonic powers that needed tweaking for their further addition into the Deionomicon, I refined my extant text for Regenesis, Sanctuary, and Signature Power. Fixed a few more pronoun issues, which makes me wonder how widespread that problem is, and reduced the occurrence of 'deionicist' a lot.

November 22nd, 2013: on day five of our six day excursion through the theonic powers which are to become faith powers as well, I have refined the text I've written for Omnipotence, Omnipresence, and Omniscience. Two of the three had the word 'deionicist' marginalized, while the third had more pronoun issues I wished to eradicate. And I have!

November 21st, 2013: once again attacking the modest roster of faith powers to be included in the Deionomicon, I have slightly modified what I had written for Genesis, Inculcation, and Plenipotentiary, removing specific references to deionicists and changing a lot of pronoun issues these powers had - along with a few other minor grammar problems.

November 20th, 2013: I've refined another trio of powers from the Manual of the Psi today, for proper inclusion into the Deionomicon. They include Disengagement, Exaltation, and Faith. The latter, being a variation on the Ultimate Power power, has had its point cost increased from four to five. Even if it costs, er, faith to use.

November 19th, 2013: continuing my slight rehabilitation of some theonic powers to more generalize them for inclusion in the Deionomicon proper, I have tweaked the text of the Avatar, Awe and Commandment powers. So I guess the faith powers are now one third of the way current. Only twelve more of these to go, and we're golden!

November 18th, 2013: while trying to decide whether or not to add anything else to the 'Faith' portion of the Deionomicon, I thought I'd start the work of tweaking extant powers to fit into this work. The first of these is Apotheosis, which I've reconfigured slightly to be not just a theonic power, and greatly slashed its point/power slot cost.

November 17th, 2013: adding another chunk of text to the Deionomicon, I've worked out the third section of its Faith text. This is the whole 'Utilizing Faith' portion of such, which describes how one acquires faith powers, assuming they don't start play with them, and vaguely indicates their benefits, if they're not immediatey apparent.

November 16th, 2013: continuing work on the Faith portion of the Deionomicon today, I've written a few paragraphs about acquiring faith. This delineates how faith accumulates, whether in the form of immediate conversions to the worship of oneself or of continued veneration over time. It may seem a bit wordy, but there's method to the madness.

November 15th, 2013: so I decided to work on the Deionomicon today, since I am at loggerheads on the whole Crazy Sues thing until I acquire, uh, money. As cash is short, I started work on the Faith portion of the 'Con today, specifically the couple of paragraphs that differentiate faith from belief - the latter being a psi phenomenon.

November 14th, 2013: with the Timely version of the Fin complete, it was high time I sorted out his Marvel variation, now, wasn't it? So that's exactly what I did, adding details from Peter's time with the New Invaders in that I had in the old Golden Age Updates portion of the old Vintage Age handbook. But hey, the Fin's done again!

November 13th, 2013: okay, so I lied. While I said I wasn't going to rehabilitate any more of the Crazy Sues I've already described, it occurred to me that the Fin is another individual from that group we know to have survived into the modern day. Thus, I've tweaked what I had for him, fixing any number of grammatical failures of mine.

November 12th, 2013: stretching myself just a bit more, I've modified both my Timely and my Marvel description of the Blue Diamond, to account for his membership in the Crazy Sues. I would've fixed this fellow up yesterday, but since I did have to change / write a lot more text for Elton, I figured I'd make this it's own effort.

November 11th, 2013: since both of them were apparently in the Band of Heroes limited series that was never completed, I have added details to both Captain America's and Bucky's character descriptions that indicate they were, indeed, involved with the Crazy Sues. Did this in both their Timely and Marvel era character descriptions.

November 10th, 2013: I've completed the modern version of Merzah the Mystic today, detailing what we know of his life after his time with the Crazy Sues, up to his untimely and accidental death at the hands of Legion. Which is unfortunate, because he was given quite a neat 'job' in the modern Marvel era in his final appearance.

November 9th, 2013: I know I said I wasn't going to actually work on the Crazy Sues for a while just yet, but I figured I could get away with it on Merzah the Mystic, since he is known to have survived into the modern era. In other words, no matter what happened during that unfinished limited series, Merzah wasn't one of its casualties.

November 8th, 2013: so you ask how I can claim I'm done with the Timely Solo Heroes, when there's six more of them remaining, do you? Well, truth be told I've just moved them all to a new team roster, since these guys all were shoe-horned into the retcon group known as the Crazy Sues. I'll be adding to this roster as time permits.

November 7th, 2013: oddly enough, Flexo showed up in one of the Marvel Zombies mini-series sequels, as part of a team of twelve Golden Age veteran heroes sent to save a variant earth in danger of falling to Nazi zombies by ARMOR. And of course Flexo got eaten by deific zombie goat things from Asgard. Would I lie to you?

November 6th, 2013: well as it turns out, I'm on my last Solo Timely Hero that needs rehabilitating. This fellow, Flexo the Rubber Man, is an odd duck even by Timely standards, which makes him a really interesting person to cover. While he got four distinct tales in the Golden Age, he hasn't been seen since - at least until last year.

November 5th, 2013: since I'd sorted her Golden Age version yesterday, you probably guessed I'd be detailing the Silver Scorpion's modern history this time around. And you'd be right! Sadly, aside from her background presence in the leadership of the V-Battalion, Betty hasn't got much use in the modern era of Marvel comics.

November 4th, 2013: I'm running low on Timely Solo Heroes to clean up, the second to last being the Silver Scorpion. So, naturally, I've overhauled what I had for her this time around! Betty Barlow's character descriptions seemed to be in order for the most part, though I still had a few tiny details that needed ironing out, I suppose.

November 3rd, 2013: updated what I had for Miss Fury today, that Golden Age heroine I described with EmarZero a few years back. Ah, good times. Of course, I've found with her and several other folks that I seriously jacked up their text file, archive versions. So that took a whole lot of work to sort out on top of general fix-ups.

November 2nd, 2013: slowly clearing up my gigantic pile of Timely Solo Heroes, I've gone and overhauled what I had for Keen Marlow, the original Mighty Destroyer! While Marvel may be intent on retroactively excising Mr. Marlow from their continuity, the fact remains that he was the fifth most popular Timely Hero back in his day. So nyah.

November 1st, 2013: ah, November, which means there's only two more months left in the calendar year. Yay! I hit another Timely Hero today, this one having no modern existence to speak of. He is Varen David, the man known as Hercules during the Golden Age. He could've been a great hero, but instead seemed happy as a circus freak.

October 31st, 2013: hey, it's Halloween! As a special treat that I was already going to give you anyway (yeah, I know), I have cleaned up my entry for Dakor the Magician, the Golden Age sorcerer and private eye who solved mysteries... for a fee. I'm told he's a 'Mandrake' clone, but I've never read a Mandrake story, so eh. Enjoy anyway!

October 30th, 2013: the Challenger has made few waves in modern day Marvel comics. I think he's made three appearances in all, two of which were one panel throw-away gags, and the latter being like a page or two gag in She-Hulk's comic. But he's active in the modern day, having 'bounced' here from the past recently.

October 29th, 2013: sneaking back into the Timely Heroes reference, I've resumed work on the overhauling of that era's Solo Heroes. Today's subject of renovation was the Challenger, that guy Marvel built back in the 1940s that had a vague semblance in motivation and skill to whats-his-face over at DC Comics. But in green!

October 28th, 2013: I know, I know, I only just wrote the first bits of the Deionomicon's section on Faith, but here I am tweaking it already. Hey, when you're working twelve hour days, sometimes the text doesn't come out quite right the first time. Or maybe building drone guts helps to make such texts even better. Yeah, that's it.

October 27th, 2013: with the previous text sorted to my satisfaction for the moment, I have begun writing on the Faith portion of the Deionomicon. I've got the inital, introductory paragraphs set up now, and am trying to figure out exactly how I want the subsequent text to flow. Which always takes me forever, I know.

October 26th, 2013: in trying to sort out the delivery on the next portion of the Deionomicon, I went and re-read through what I've written thus far. Of course, this caused me to find a large number of grammatical kinks that I thought should be ironed out. I went ahead and did so, and I think the text flows even better now.

October 25th, 2013: yeah. I've cleaned up the Golden Age version of the Blazing Skull, so I had to modernize him as well. That was the focus of today's work, though sadly it seems to showcase the current end of the Blazing Skull, since he was eaten by zombie goats empowered by the flesh of Odin or something. No, really.

October 24th, 2013: picking up another Golden Age solo hero to rehabilitate, I've cleaned up what I had for the Blazing Skull. One of my favorite Golden Age heroes, this pacifist reporter turned supernatural vigilante had a good run back in the day, and has actually showed up in a variety of more recent super hero teams. Neat, eh?

October 23rd, 2013: as you may have guessed considering my usual pattern of updates, I have gone and rebuild the 'modern' version of the Black Marvel, in all three of its usual variations. This of course means that I'm all done with this guy again - at least until it's time for me to come up with some art for this guy. Bleah.

October 22nd, 2013: continuing the slog through my extant Timely (solo) Heroes, in my attempt to modernize and/or clean up what I have for each, I have sorted out the Golden Age version of the Black Marvel. Ironed out tons of tense issues, streamlined my oft rambling sentences, and of course built his Edition 13 variation.

October 21st, 2013: I have overhauled Marvel's first super hero team this time around: the 3Xs! While very, very little is known about this trio, they're an interesting if obscure footnote in Marvel Comics' history, so I thought it'd be nice to clean up what I had for them. And since the grammar here was atrocious, yay me!

October 20th, 2013: since I have ironed out his Golden Age version, I thought I'd build the modern day iteration of the original, high flying Angel! Of course, he's actually dead now, apparently dying at some point 'off panel' before the end of the excellent Marvels Project limited series, but at least you have all his story now.

October 19th, 2013: swinging back to the Timely Heroes reference, I have completed an overhaul of Marvel's very first super hero: the Angel! I added his revolvers, tweaked his story to account for events in the Marvels Project, and generally cleaned up his grammar - and even a bit of spelling here and there. So, uh, rock?

October 18th, 2013: since I finally have the first part of the Deionomicon complete to my satisfaction, I went and did a read through, proof read, and spell check on what I have wrought. Which revealed the fact that I spell 'canceled' like the non-American English speaking world - in other words, with two Ls. Spell check no like.

October 17th, 2013: so I have tweaked the 'core concepts' text at the beginning of the Deionomicon yet again, because it finally hit me at work while building a drone's power supply today how to end that section. I moved tiny bits of that text into the stuff following deific vulnerabilities, the whole mitigation of such part.

October 16th, 2013: as planned, I've wrapped up my revisit of the Blue Blaze by overhauling his Saga variation today. This took a bit more work than yesterday's Edition 13 port, as Saga is a different animal by definition - and I was still using my converted Ultimate Powers Book power list. But Blue Blaze is now good again!

October 15th, 2013: got busy all of a sudden this week, but I have at least made time to continue work on the Blue Blaze. Though this was the 'easy' part of his overhaul, I've added his 4C System: Edition 13 variation to the mix. The plan, of course, is to wrap him up with his Saga variation tomorrow, so he's all current once more.

October 14th, 2013: returning to the Timely Heroes, I've cleaned up my The CASE version of the Blue Blaze (no, not the Blue Blade, he's coming later). He's the only Marvel character I can think of with some form of the Troubleseeker (well, we call it Jeopardy) power, even if it's a bit different, so I wanted to get him right.

October 13th, 2013: naturally, as I am wont to do once I've written something, I have gone and revised what I had thus far for the 'core concepts' part of the Deionomicon's beginning text. I didn't tweak it a whole lot but I like what I have now better, on the whole. I hope you like it as well, 'cause I find it more agreeable now.

October 12th, 2013: having been struggling with whether or not to add a 'core concepts' blurb to the beginning of the Deionomicon, I had an inspiration whilst at work yesterday. I've condensed the result of that sudden idea into a small treatise about immortality and that which can bypass it, right up there after the intro text.

October 11th, 2013: I have overhauled another Timely Solo Hero today. This time covering the American Avenger, I have tightened up his historical text, sorting out various tense issues I had with it. I also tweaked his talents to better line up with the new rules, and built his Edition 13 variation. Now, onto the next hero!

October 10th, 2013: with his Golden Age variation done, I figured I should get on with my modern iteration of the Terror. He oddly enough experienced a minor revival within the pages of the She-hulk comic, going on inexplicable adventures with her and Howard the Duck. Despite, you know, being old, frail, and in a wheelchair.

October 9th, 2013: took the opportunity to start overhauling some solo heroes for my Timely Heroes thing today. I began work on the Terror, beginning with the bottom of the roster for, uh, reasons. I've added a power, but also downgraded his Fighting and Intuition, since he gets hit in the back of the head a lot. Seriously, every issue.

October 8th, 2013: okay! I've blocked out all the text on the Character Generation portion of the Deinomicon that I stole from the Textbook Character Treatise that simply doesn't apply, which is about half of it, and have installed all the random character generation tables save for one: that of the faith powers. But it's up now.

October 7th, 2013: well I did a bit more research on the history of Captain America, since a whole lot has gone on with him since I created a 'modern' description of the man. You know, what with me having him listed as 'dead' when I last touched him. So I've cleaned up and streamlined his history. He's now current!

October 6th, 2013: there's a reason I was saving Captain America for last... too bad I decided to not handle him, er, last. I have spent several hours doing research on the man's recent doings, and they're a handful. I have since installed his modern talent and power additions, and updated his equipment to showcase his 'constant' gear.

October 5th, 2013: so I do, in fact, have many hours to myself this weekend. As such, I'll be trying to wrap up a lot of goodies over the next day or so, and I've started this by finally sorting out my Golden Age Captain America description. This involved me ironing out his Saga variation, which needed a whole lot of work. Bleh.

October 4th, 2013: it would appear that my schedule will be opening up a bit shortly, so perhaps I can get more done. In the mean time, however, I have for you a 4C System: Edition 13 version of the Golden Age Captain America, proofread, spell checked, and ready for gaming consumption. So get with the consumption, already!

October 3rd, 2013: well things are going ultra slow here in the Firebomb cave, for which I have naught but apologies to you, the discerning Technoholic reader. However, I can assure you that I have now completed my overhaul of the The CASE version of the Golden Age Captain America. Which involved adding moar talents. Sigh.

October 2nd, 2013: I started working on a clean-up of Captain America's Golden Age entry for the Timely Heroes reference, and indeed made some progress on him today. However, events beyond my control have stalled my completion of this effort for the day. I hope to wrap him up tomorrow, so I can get on his modern day variation. Sorry!

October 1st, 2013: sadly for all y'all, I'm working on stuff that isn't quite ready for prime time yet. I'm collecting most of the character generation tables for the Deionomicon, which are quite similar to those from the Textbook Character Treatise, but I have a lot to text and small details to tweak. Arraning this stuff now.

September 30th, 2013: the Deific Deviations portion of the Deionomicon is now complete. So, naturally, it's time for a detailed proof reading of my work. I only had a few spelling errors, but found a couple bits of grammar that needed further tweaking. So I have corrected all of the previous, and hope my rambling doesn't wreck your brain!

September 29th, 2013: with the rest of it done, I have now written the last portion of the Deific Deviations portion of the Deionomicon, the text blurb about actual, honest to goodness gods. I then went and revised the whole thing from the ground up, having had time to do so today (and saving you a day worth of tweaks tomorrow).

September 28th, 2013: o hai! Though a surprise nap snuck up on me and derailed my progress this afternoon, I awoke with a fresh start and perspective, and was able to handily hammer out the Divine Deviations text related to Aspirants. I tweaked it several times already, so luckily you need not wait on me to revise it tomorrow.

September 27th, 2013: with my migraine mostly under control, I went ahead and revised the grammatical train wreck that was my blurb about demigods today. It's still not perfect, with something on that first paragraph giving me fits, but I think it works for now. I guess this is one of those things that we'll just have to 'fix in post'.

September 26th, 2013: bwa. So I attempted writing on a migraine and hoo boy, I spit out material that doesn't even look like English by the time I re-read it upon feeling a tad bit better. So I've retracted what I uploaded for Demigods, and will try to iron out that business just a tad before re-enabling you to see it. Thus saving your sanity.

September 25th, 2013: I'm sorry. I really am. I know I'm only writing a few paragraphs per day here, whilst I hammer concepts floating around in my head into readable English, but once I get something down I find I need to hack it up and resomethingorother it a bunch. Today is no exception, for I've tweaked the Empowered texts a bit here and there.

September 24th, 2013: returning my attention to the Deionomicon for the moment, I wrote a blurb of text for the empowered, mortals granted great power by the gods themselves! I am not perfectly happy with this text, though I can't put my finger on why just yet, but there it is. I imagine I'll tinker with it tomorrow a bit, but what's new?

September 23rd, 2013: though his history took quite a bit of massaging, I have updated what I had for Namor, the Sub-Mariner's modern entry. Namor is probably has the least snarly continuity of all the Invaders, but the problem is that he's simply done so much, and been on so many teams, that it's hard to be succinct. But I have!

September 22nd, 2013: took a bit of a break on the writing of the Deionomicon, since my brain was a bit fuzzy despite all the caffeine - headache all weekend, that just won't quit. So I went back to the Timely Heroes thing, and have given Namor's Golden Age entry a vast overhaul, removing some bits by the original co-author I disliked.

September 21st, 2013: as predicted, I dinked with the text for the Legacy deifics a short bit ago, because while it sounded good upon writing it and the first few read throughs, it took me a bit longer to see a few things I didn't like. So I revised what I had, and probably will again for good measure, but I'm liking it again - for now.

September 20th, 2013: though I'll likely revise it thirty times, I've produced the flavor text for Legacy characters, those mortal individuals who have, through dint of how they live their lives, blundered into an undying power or power set. I really like this notion for some reason, so it's nice to finally have it spelled out a bit.

September 19th, 2013: it wasn't technically an update on the 13, but today I rehabilitated my old netbook for the purposes of doing actual 13 writing at work on breaks (instead of reading the internet or catching Pokemons). This took a few hours, as anyone owning an XP machine that's been idle for years will tell you, so that's close enough.

September 18th, 2013: once again working on the Deionomicon at work (on break, of course), I did another round of proofing and re-reading the meager amounts of text I've already written for this thing. Of course hindsight tells me I could improve about thirty different things, so I went ahead and did so. For the sake of the children, naturally.

September 17th, 2013: logistically speaking, having reincarnators and preincarnators together in one block of text proved to be untenable, at least upon going over my work today at, uh, work. So I split them up once more, and now all is right with the world. Ish. I have tweaked their texts slightly to account for this sudden divorce.

September 16th, 2013: I did some more writing this time around, going about trying to make sense of the notions I had for p/reincarnation. They were going to be two distinct origins, but then I thought that that'd be a whole lot of similarity (and an extra power description down the line) for no good reason. So I blended them into one.

September 15th, 2013: today I rearranged the 'flow' of the Deific Deviations portion of the Deionomicon, the idea being that while alphabetical order is nice, arranging things by the severity of their deific nature seemed a bit more appropriate. I also tweaked what I had for the two extant origin 'fluff' bits thus far. TPYOS!

September 14th, 2013: did a bit more rewriting on the original text - I know, I know - but I'm really, really liking it now. I also wrote the beginning text for the Deific Deviations portion of the Deionomicon, so there's that, too. This is just the lead-in to the individual deific types, but it's kinda important for the flow of information, so nyah.

September 13th, 2013: so yeah, I promised rewrites if I didn't like how things flowed yesterday and I have delivered! Because I'm never quite satisfied with what I write the first time, so when I reserve those rights you can expect them to be invoked. I'm hoping that this variation of the 'intro' text holds up, 'cause I like it - right now, anyway.

September 12th, 2013: I have forged the opening text for the Deionomicon, though I reserve the right to tweak it at a later date. Because I'm known for fiddling with that which should not be fiddled with. It took a few dozen iterations but I finally have verbiage I like in the 'base' of the Deionomicon. Aso, I like typing 'Deionomicon'.

September 11th, 2013: wrote a bit more stuff. I chiseled out a blurb for mortals wielding Deific Devices this time around, sort of giving one an idea what they're capable of... and what they might not be able to handle. Of course, how they're built indicates whether they've got the powers or their devices do. It's tricksy that way.

September 10th, 2013: wrote some stuff. You'll have to forgive the weird pacing on some of this material as I translate it from headmeat statics into actual English that makes sense, but what I've done is start to form flavor text for the Deinomicon, starting with Quintessential Variants. I've got a little blurb on them outside that power's description.

September 9th, 2013: hey, it's a new Technoholic month! I thought I'd take this opportunity for a slight time-out, to sort of lay out the outline for another of my rules references: the Deionomicon! I knew what I wanted to write of course, but now I know the approximate order in which it will eventually appear on the 13!

September 8th, 2013: I sort of 'closed' the old Universal Heroes section off to casual linking - at least, within the site proper. I'm sure Google and various other external links, as revealed by my Google Analytics dingus, will keep pointing at the old stuff, so I'll leave it online for now, but I'm going with the new layout from now on I think.

September 7th, 2013: I wrapped up my slog through the various random character generation tables in the new Universal Heroes format by checking the links to each theonic power in the Manual of the Psi. I also checked those accessory links below, at which point I found I forgot the Manuals's updates from the original version. Fixed that, though.

September 6th, 2013: so apparently the technopsi discipline of power is even smaller than the superpsi one. But that's okay, since it takes less time to verify the links in the new Manual of the Psi document's random technopsi power generation tables work using my janky T-Mobile internet access while at work. During breaks, of course.

September 5th, 2013: though it's not quite as big as the psipathic discipline of power, the superpsi set does nonetheless have a wide selection to choose from. Which is why I'm happy that, upon going through all of the links in the Manual of the Psi document's superpsi random power generation tables, I found no errors were introduced.

September 4th, 2013: I think the psipathic discipline in the Manual of the Psi (whether the original, new, or newer version of such) has the single largest number of powers. So you can imagine how thrilled I am in that, going through all the links for the new Manual document's random psipathic power generation tables, I found no problems.

September 3rd, 2013: you know I figured that working on these link verification things at home would go a lot faster, considering Road Runner's propaganda says we have blazing fast internets, but it went about as slow as doing this on my phone did today. Grr. Anyway, I did find one error, this time with Telelocation, so I fixed it!

September 2nd, 2013: four disciplines down, and five to go. This is because I've gone through all six of the psimantic power tables today, and sorted that business out once and for all. And luckily, it would appear that nothing horrible happened in the translation from the old 'new' Manual to the new 'new' Manual's psychoturgics.

September 1st, 2013: hit the psikinetic power links in the new Manual document's random rolling tables, and curiously enough I didn't find any grievous errors today... unlike last time. The only thing this cost me was an inordinate amount of time that I'll never get back, all the while finishing up some troubleshooting for someone else's project. Sigh.

August 31st, 2013: I checked the various metapsi links in the new Manual of the Psi document's random power generation tables, and found a few that, in hindsight considering a few changes I made, needed fixing. I also restored the Combat Edge discount, which I think never made it to the old Book of Magic. But it's in now!

August 30th, 2013: well that's three out of four character generation pages sorted, so I figure I should start up on that last one - if only to get this work complete once and for all. Thus, I've begun to click-check all the random power generation tables in the new Manual of the Psi document, and have done all the empathic power links. Whee.

August 29th, 2013: having checked out all the links on the new Textbook Character Treatise page's random power generation tables, I made little notes of everything I noticed wrong - whether in formatting on the power description in question or the link itself not functioning. There was only a small bit of this, but now there's none. I think.

August 28th, 2013: woo. It literally almost put me to sleep more than once on my breaks at work, but I've managed to finish my phone-internet-based click-through tests on all the random power generation tables for the new Textbook Character Treatise. This would've been easier without each power having a hyperlink, but then why bother with html?

August 27th, 2013: I'm sure this is boring the pants off of all y'all, but sadly this link checking needs doing - who else is going to tell me I screwed up but me? So yeah, did the third of four batches of these things while I was on break at work today, to keep progress on the site moving forward - however minimally it may be.

August 26th, 2013: more of the same today, unfortunately for all y'all, but I've gone and checked another big block of random power generation table links from the new Textbook Character Treatise document today. Found a few issues I noted for posterity, which I'll get around to once I'm done with the Blackberry-based click fest.

August 25th, 2013: since the Book of Magic document's spell generation tables have checked out (having fixed what was broke with all of them), it's time to start going over the new Textbook Character Treatise's tables, now. Sigh. I've hit the first ninety of these, give or take, and so far everything here seems to be working at least.

August 24th, 2013: while checking up on the Book of Magic's random spell generation tables to ensure those links worked, I noticed two problems with the new Powers document. For one thing, the Transient Magic description was all borked up, and the flavor text up top hadn't been updated since I repurposed this page. Both: Fixed!

August 23rd, 2013: though it pains me to do so on my horribly slow telephone internet, the truth is the only time I have to sit and check links during the week is while I'm at break on the clock, so that's when I've been doing this. But, as it turns out I'm done checking all the links on the new Book of Magic document, and all seem well.

August 22nd, 2013: so I can now check these Book of Magic spell links while at work, which is slow going due to my janky T-Mobile Blackberry Torch internet access, but hey. I hit the first half of these today, verifying that the personal and universal spell links in the random spell generation tables are working. And hey, they are.

August 21st, 2013: so I went to start checking the spell links in the Book of Magic's character generation section, and found that they were all broken. Every last one of them. So I couldn't really check 'em at work as planned. Thus, I came home tonight and fixed the problem with all of those pesky links, and hey, they're half functional now!

August 20th, 2013: did you know? Spitfire's been pretty busy since the end of World War II - and this after several retirements and attempts to have a normal family life. Lately, she's a part-human, part-vampire super-human palling around with Blade... at least, when not working alongside the rest of M.I. 13. Busy, I say!

August 19th, 2013: I know I said on the 'news' page I was going to resume the link checking in the Universal Heroes thingus after wrapping up Union Jack, but I had a hankering, so I went ahead and began my work on Spitifre. Her 'Golden Age' version was easy enough to sort out, after all, since her powers are like the Whizzer's. More or less.

August 18th, 2013: with the Golden Age Union Jack (even if he is a retconned Golden Age hero) sorted, I went ahead and did the small amount of work necessary to 'modernize' him once more. This just details how he was killed off off-panel in the time period between then and now (or whenever this was published). Whoops?

August 17th, 2013: taking a slight break from all the link checking I've been doing at work over the last week-ish, I have cleaned up my Golden Age version of the second Union Jack. And I mean cleaned! Apparently there were critical errors in his html and grammar and spelling even, which nobody ever noted for me. Sigh.

August 16th, 2013: like I said two days ago, I'm verifying the links on the talents and contacts random rolling tables for the new Manual of the Psi document. For those of you wondering why this work is necessary, well, I lack a proofreader. And hardly anyone ever tells me when I've bungled something here at the 13. Heh.

August 15th, 2013: so yeah, continuing probably the most boring week of Technoholic updates ever (ever), I am checking the links on the new Manual of the Psi document to ensure they're right. This first batch of such involves me verifying the quirks links in the character generation tables were good. And it looks like they were!

August 14th, 2013: while it may be getting tiresome seeing me check all the different versions of these same links, I assure you that having completed my perusal of the Book of Magic's talents and contact rolling tables, I only have one more batch of these to go through for the time being. And I'll hit those on Friday, I imagine!

August 13th, 2013: so I apologize in advance for not having updated this page while working on stuff these last couple of days, but I've been astonishingly busy of late, and checking links at work on my janky phone internet doesn't allow for keeping this current. Sorry! But I've verified the Book of Magic's quirks tables all have good links now. Woo?

August 12th, 2013: once again aping the work I already accomplished two days ago, I've went and checked all the links on the talents and contacts portion of the Textbook Character Treatise document. I lucked out this time around, and it would appear that I didn't introduce any bum links here while moving everything over to the new layout.

August 11th, 2013: aping the work I did two days ago, I have checked all the links in the quirks portion of the Textbook Character Treatise document's character generation section. I'm doing these bits of these pages first, because they're all the same save for the actual link text involved (I think), which will make it easier.

August 10th, 2013: continuing my work to verify I didn't install three hundred bum links (or so) into the new documents for the consolidated Universal Heroes rules sections, I have gone through the talents and contacts links on the 'Character Generation' document. Fixed a few, of course, but at least this page is worked up proper.

August 9th, 2013: switched gears a bit, since I've been putting off a lot of work on my new rules layout for a while now. So, I'm starting by going through the headache of verifying all the links on my 'Character Generation' document, covering all the initial 'shuffle you off to another page' links, as well as the many quirks links.

August 8th, 2013: so here we are, ending this Technoholic month on a good note. This is because I've cleaned up my modern version of the original, android Human Torch's character description. That's right, I've got another Invader (and associated continuity train wreck) ironed out at long last. Only, uh, four more of those to go, right?

August 7th, 2013: the Legion is all wrapped up, so I suppose I should make myself bite off another chunk of the massive continuity snarl that is the Invaders. Thus, I've cleaned up the character description that I have of the Golden Age, android Human Torch, tightening up his flavor text and streamlining his power roster.

August 6th, 2013: so with the rest of my work to clean up the Liberty Legion's roster complete, I simply had to head back to their index page and straighten up their 'flavor' text a bit. I cleaned up a few inconsistencies and streamlined it a tad, and now I'm as happy with it as I am with the team's various member descriptions. Yay!

August 5th, 2013: oddly enough, the Thin Man has received a lot of 'play' in the Marvel Universe recently. He formed the New Invaders to battle resurgent Nazi evil, and even works for SHIELD now - or they at least consult with him when dealing with the likes of Cable and his incessant meddling in the affairs of our timeline.

August 4th, 2013: since I've only got one more Liberty Legion member to overhaul, I suppose I should get on it. My seeming lack of enthusiam aside, I've concocted a revised description of my favorite Legionnaire, if not one of my favorite Marvel Super Heroes, the Thin Man! I don't know why, but I love this obscure fellow.

August 3rd, 2013: oddly enough, the Whizzer has an important place in modern Marvel history. He was an Avenger for a short period of time, after all, and for a while people thought he was the father of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch! While he was killed by his nemesis, Isbisa, the modern Whizzer lives on here on the 13.

August 2nd, 2013: so I discarded the proper order with which I was performing updates on the Liberty Legion's roster, and completed my update of the Golden Age Whizzer today. I left Thin Man as I had to do a tiny bit of research on the fellow yet, but Mr. Frank was ready to go, so I worked him up again this time around. Hope you enjoy!

August 1st, 2013: hey, it's August already! Time flies when you're growing older by the day, I guess - well, even more than I ought to be. Heh. Anyway, I've completed my overhaul of the 'modern day' Red Raven, tweaking his statistics a tad and rendering his history current - right up to the point where he was recently et by Nazi zombies. No, really.

July 31st, 2013: it's time to clean up another member of the Liberty Legion! This latest one is one of my favorite heroes from this team, the Red Raven. Sure, he only appeared once in Timely Comics, in the sole issue of his very own series, but don't let that stop you from admiring this strange human who was adopted by Sky Island!

July 30th, 2013: though he didn't make many appearances in the modern age of Marvels, Jeffrey Mace did have a powerful impact on Marvel history. This because, even though it was done in a retcon fashion, he served as Captain America after the original's seeming death. He was, in fact, the fourth such man to utilize that identity!

July 29th, 2013: the heart of the Liberty Legion, Jeffrey Mace was the Patriot, a mild-mannered reporter and veteran who took it upon himself to fight fascism in a costumed identity! I cleaned up various grammatical failures in his original description, and tightened up the text some. Oh, and added his Edition 13 variation!

July 28th, 2013: so I cleaned up the modern Miss America again. I've added all the stuff from her 'old' update to the revised Golden Age version of her I created yesterday, though a recent retcon would like us to believe all her appearances since 1950 were a 'fake' dead soul of hers. Or something equally ridiculous. I don't get it.

July 27th, 2013: grabbing my third Liberty Legionnaire, I've gone and cleaned up what I had for Miss America. Uh, again. Yeah, she's all spiffy now once more, having had her grammar picked over with a fine toothed comb once more, and her various powers (both lingering and lost to time) listed for all the world to see. Enjoy!

July 26th, 2013: Jack Frost has had little impact on the modern Marvel universe, having literally only showed up twice since the end of World War II - chronologically speaking, that is. Thus, it was relatively easy to reproduce my 'modern' take on his character, which I went ahead and did for y'all this time around.

July 25th, 2013: going over what I wrote for Jack Frost, I realized I wrote a book for him - going into great detail about all of his original, Golden Age appearances. Which is a good thing, and something I ought to do with all my 'minor' Timely Heroes - though maybe after I finish this initial upgrade, yes? Oh yes....

July 24th, 2013: in case you haven't discerned my recent pattern by now, I spent my 13 time today upgrading the Blue Diamond's 'modern day' version for your gaming use! Little has changed with this solid hero in the last couple years, so this was mostly grammar fixes and whatnot. And I found even more of those today. Urg.

July 23rd, 2013: why hello there. Though sorting out Bucky has drained me, I press on with my work to rehabilitate the Timely Heroes portion of the 13. Beginning my look at the Liberty Legion, I am starting in alphabetical order of course, and have cleaned up what I had for the Blue Diamond. Oh, the grammatical errors I found.

July 22nd, 2013: so I wrote another book today. This because, while I had made a 'modern' version of Bucky a good long time ago, it was woefully out of date. I have since streamlined and added to Bucky's cybernetic abilities, updated his history, and re-evaluated the physical and mental abilities he had listed previously.

July 21st, 2013: being that I had only one more Kid Commando left unrepaired, I thought I'd go ahead and rectify that situation. Thus, I've completed my overhaul of the Golden Age Bucky, tweaking his texts a bit, streamlining his talents to match the current rules, and of course making his Edition 13 variation.

July 20th, 2013: I sort of wrote a book today. This is because I sorted out the snarl of continuity surrounding Thomas Raymond: Toro! He's been brought back to life, and starred in a few limited series since, but there was that odd issue of him sort of already having been brought back. Not resolved, but at least mentioned.

July 19th, 2013: though I was going to move onto the Liberty Legion or something after handling the Kid Commandos' upgrade, what with the Invaders requiring considerably upgrading, I have decided to at least continue on with those Invaders who were Kid Commandos. Thus, I have overhauled Toro for your gaming pleasures.

July 18th, 2013: since his 'Golden Age' character description is complete, I have since updated the 'modern' version of the Human Top I've got, moving it over to the Marvel Universe Miscellany. Though truth be told, there wasn't a whole lot to update, just had to change his contacts and costumes and history a tad little bit.

July 17th, 2013: with the Golden Girl sorted, it is now time to work on her counterpart in the Kid Commandos: the Human Top! I have rewired this fellow's power roster considerably, and otherwise tweaked what he had for other character details. And of course, as I have been with all of these jokers, I added his Edition 13 variation.

July 16th, 2013: having seen how I do these updates over the last couple of weeks, you can probably gather that I'm doing an overhaul of the 'modern' version of the Golden Girl today. Having evolved into the Golden Woman, she was a member of the V-Battalion for a time, at least until her untimely demise on some unknown mission.

July 15th, 2013: as it so happens, the Kid Commandos only have two members unique to it: Golden Girl and the Human Top. I've decided to clean up what I had for the former today, which didn't take all that much work, truth be told. But then I did work a bunch of overtime so that's probably a good thing overall - need money for software!

July 14th, 2013: today was a relatively minor day as far as Technoholic updates go, as I didn't produce much 'content' to speak of. But what I did was tweak the roster page for the Kid Commandos group. I wasn't liking what I had there so I inflicted a rewrite or ten to make it match my current sensibilities a bit more.

July 13th, 2013: having wrapped up the third Golden Age Mighty Destroyer, I went ahead and cleaned up his current version. Astoundingly enough, he hasn't been killed off in some horrible fashion as of yet - unlike almost everyone else I cover for this part of the 13. You can find his modern versions in the Marvel Universe Miscellany.

July 12th, 2013: the last member of the Crusaders that required cleaning up and/or modernizing, Dyna-Mite, has now been corrected. This is of course the man who became the third Mighty Destroyer, one Roger Aubrey, who despite being the consummate continuity snarl, actually wound up having an impact on the modern Marvel Universe.

July 11th, 2013: having completed the Timely Heroes version of the Spirit of '76, I thought I'd build up his modern version today. Of course, he died shortly after the end of World War II, being killed by one of Horton's android abominations, so there's that. But at least this third Captain America is now modernized!

July 10th, 2013: moving into the more historically significant portions of the Crusaders' roster, I have cleaned up my entry for the Golden Age version of the Spirit of '76. As was the case with most of the Crusaders, this didn't require a whole lot of work - but then, I wrote most of these later than my other Timely Heroes.

July 9th, 2013: so in case I wasn't being clear when I was going on about nerd trivia yesterday, I spent the Technoholic day cleaning up what I had for Thunderfist. And today I continued that work by doing the same for Tommy Lightning! Which ends my foray into the Crusaders' 'low hanging fruit', sadly. On to the big guys!

July 8th, 2013: though I understand the Crusaders were utilized mostly as a way to cross-over with DC's World War II heroes without actually doing so, I still wish these guys (and girl) had been given another chance to shine in Marvel's comics. After all, who wouldn't want to see more of the loveable mook, Thunderfist?

July 7th, 2013: so yeah, the Crusaders. I resumed work on this after sorta kinda shaking off this migrainey thing that's been plaguing me for a bit, namely by cleaning up what I had for the Ghost Girl. I sorted out her talents and powers just a tad, and of course made her Edition 13 variation. Which was actually easy again.

July 6th, 2013: picking up the character work again, after that short round of work with the rules-y business, I've resumed activity in the Timely Heroes portion of the 13. Grabbing another roster to clean up, I've started on the Crusaders, beginning with a clean-up of Captain Wings. Luckily, he required little work, really.

July 5th, 2013: since I've gone to all the the trouble to realign all of the Universal Heroes stuff written thus far into a singular narrative (with the dim prospect of an actual pdf or something in mind), I've made a link to it public. It's the exact same material, of course, but it's just rearranged - for the better, I think.

July 4th, 2013: I've moved some of the ancillary bits on each power description around, but it seemed to be a big jumble, so I did a little bit of formatting and reconfiguration to make the power listings seem more... organized? I'm not sure that's the right word but I think I made it look a lot better this time around.

July 3rd, 2013: now that I've assembled every special ability from the Manual of the Psi, the Book of Magic, and the Textbook Character Treatise into a singular Powers document, I have to start tweaking it some. I started this process by moving the 'related powers' block into the space after the type, cost, and duration blurbs.

July 2nd, 2013: so it took a good long time, but I've finished up the creation of the gigantic Powers document for my Universal Heroes rules stuff. This last, fourth day of work on such involved me stealing the last half of the data from the Manual of the Psi's Powers document and splicing it into this one. On like, uh, no sleep.

July 1st, 2013: completing part three of the crafting of the massive Universal Heroes Powers document, I've spliced details from half the same document from the Manual of the Psi. This is mostly discipline and maintenance information, as was the case with the Book of Magic's spells, but it has to be done manually. So manually. Sigh.

June 30th, 2013: resuming yesterday's work of the ages, I have finished splicing details from the various spells from the Book of Magic into the new Univeral Heroes Powers document. This mostly involved adding the spells not shared with the Textbook powers document, along with details like spell types and durations.

June 29th, 2013: picking up work on my still-secret goal of consolidating all of my rules into a more efficiently accessed package, I have begun to splice data from the Book of Magic's Spells document into the eventual Powers document for the Universal Heroes' 'all in one' directory. Got about half of this work done before I crapped out.

June 28th, 2013: finally got around to wrapping up my collection of 'example' B'ntri to go with their generic entry, namely by writing up the smack-talking, psi-slinging mercenary known as Murdermouth. So until more of these weirdos show up during my need to catalog Variant Earth 13, I guess they're all sorted out for the time being.

June 27th, 2013: having fine tuned the Timely Heroes version of the Vision, I have taken the time to modernize what I had for him - not having done that before. And while he's got some 'play' of late in the various Alex Ross Golden Age projects, he's since met a sort of bad end at the hands of Legion of all people. Stupid Legion.

June 26th, 2013: I have rounded out the roster I currently have completed for the Battle-Axis by cleaning up what I had written for the Golden Age Vision thus far. Which apparently was rife with spelling and grammatical and other errors. Thanks for telling me? Either way, he's all sorted now, so I hope you enjoy the new him.

June 25th, 2013: apparently forgetting that I'd already produced a 'modern' version of Doctor Nemesis, I went ahead and cooked up an all new one from my (heavily) modified Golden Age version. Which is good, I guess, as the character's abilities seem to have changed slightly since I first wrote him up. Oh, What Has Science Wrought?

June 24rd, 2013: rounding out the primary roster of the Battle-Axis once more, I have rehabilitated what I had for Dr. James Nikola Bradley: Doctor Nemesis! Of course, during this time he was going by Doctor Death, so there's a bit of weirdness involved. However, if you want him one of you Golden Age adventures, here goes!

June 23rd, 2013: I've rehabilitated the Human Meteor's character descriptions today. Though in truth, it might be more accurate to say that I've rewritten him from the ground up, discarding the Marvel version of his origin, and replacing it with that from his original, twenty-five issue run. Which was quite amazing in the 1940s!

June 22nd, 2013: apologies for the lack of anything concrete today. Saw a horrible accident a hundred or so yards from where me and the sexy other were sitting during a local event, so I wasn't up for much. I poked about in some in-progress rule stuff, and made a bit of progress, but that was all. Perhaps next time?

June 21st, 2013: so, I lied. I thought Doctor Nemesis was going to be the first entry of 'modern day' versions of my Timely Heroes (and Villains, and Whatevers) to be moved over to the new Marvel Universe Miscellany, but as it turned out Spider Queen was. Who knew she was used in a comic just two years ago? Well, not me anyway.

June 20th, 2013: taking a break from my new-fangled rules alignment, mostly for the sake of sanity, I've returned to the Timely Heroes overhaul! I resumed work on the Battle-Axis by revising my entries for the Spider Queen, though recent events tell me that it is time that I add a 'modern' version of her character in as well. Huh.

June 19th, 2013: so I haven't really finished my Technical Reference - far, far from it - but I have gone ahead and thrown what texts I have written thus far into the 'new' Universal Heroes directory. This mostly so the link continuity still flows in the thing, and because it's easier for me to proofread this stuff at work. Enjoy?

June 18th, 2013: while I hadn't brought the various accessories from the Textbook Character Treatise, the Book of Magic, and the Manual of the Psi over previously, I have done so today. This required minor revisions to their link structures of course, but this wasn't such a big deal. And it covers the missing Powers document. Yay?

June 17th, 2013: the Manual of the Psi has been copied over into the new portion of the 13's custom rules dedicated to it. While the Powers document isn't there yet, as is the case with the last two, I have crushed the other four documents into a singular page, which bears the name of the actual rules reference. Looks good, I think!

June 16th, 2013: like I did yesterday, I copied another rules reference into the new, Universal Heroes directory. This is the Book of Magic, which got the same basic treatment. Combined the non-spells pages into one document, and reformatted it a bunch in order for it to read well as a singular, if immense page. Liking this so far!

June 15th, 2013: I have copied the text of the Textbook Character Treatise into the new Universal Heroes section of the custom rules. I've reformatted everything ever so slightly, and made it more legible since it is now one document to hold all four of the previous pages. Sans the power roster, of course, which is not ready yet.

June 14th, 2013: with the basics worked out, I've copied all the bits of the Core Rules into the new section for my Universal Heroes rules - it'll be the prototype for all this work, after all. This didn't involve too much work, though I had to cram a bunch of 'room' in-between the Character Generation and Power Customization documents.

June 13th, 2013: so I had an epiphany regarding how I wanted to present my custom rules systems, which I believe will be worlds better than what I have before. So I'm building the 'new' rules section here on the sly, so I don't interrupt your use of them at the moment. So right now, I've just set up the directory structures for it all.

June 12th, 2013: continuing my dredge through the Battle-Axis team roster, I've gone and rehabilitated what little I had for Percy van Norton: the Strongman! While his Marvel debut butchered his already awesome origin, gaining super-powers from reading a book about Yoga exercises, he's otherwise about the same. And still obscure.

June 11th, 2013: with my work in the All-Winners Squad directory complete, at least until I actually revise my Invaders descriptions anyway, it's time for something new! Thus, I began work rehabilitating what I had extant for the Battle-Axis so far, beginning with Volton. And boy, did he need a lot of little tweaks here and there.

June 10th, 2013: so continuing to work on those members of the All-Winners Squad that were delegated solely to that directory, and not the Invaders one for some reason, I have wrapped those two folks up by rehabilitating the Blonde Phantom's entry. And wonder amongst wonders, she hasn't been killed off recently. Hooray?

June 9th, 2013: resuming work on the Timely Heroes portion of the 13, since I now can, I have rehabilitated what I had for Fred Davis Jr. - the second Bucky! I have updated his skills, quirks, and history. The latter because he has recently been murdered in the Winter Soldier comic. Sigh. See? Everything I touch totally dies!

June 8th, 2013: so I've rehabilitated and moved all the characters formerly resident in my Odds and Ends portion of the 13. Thus, I've gone ahead and closed that out officially, for good. I think I've removed every link to it from the site proper, and have now deleted its directory entirely. But again, all this stuff has a new home!

June 7th, 2013: getting back to the refugees of my former Odds and Ends section on the site, I have moved Treecko, that villainous Pokemon featured in my Variant Earth 13 e mail game, back to the Tenacious Ten directory. He's not directly linked to from there, only accessible from the Master Roster, but at least he's still here, right?

June 6th, 2013: oddly enough, I've added a third Greek god to my Myths and Legends thing - assuming it keeps that name over time? He is Khronos, a primordial god who is credited, alongside his mate Ananke, with the creation of the Olympian multiverse. He's a big fellow - and the first Edge 5 character I've made for Saga!

June 5th, 2013: so I only had one other deity to rehabilitate for the Myths and Legends deal for the time being, that being Nike, the Greek goddess of victory! Sorted out a bunch of html gaffes, grammar failures, updated her power roster, and gave her her Edition 13 variation. Which sorts out all but one member of the old Miscellany!

June 4th, 2013: so I've got this whole Myths and Legends thing at least skeletonized out, right? Thus, I've added the first of two Greek gods I've already covered in my previous MSH works: Asclepius! He's been overhauled to match the new rules, given an Edition 13 variation, and of course had a bunch of grammatical stuff fixed. Ugh.

June 3rd, 2013: having access to my own site again (thanks, GoDaddy, I think?), I've gotten down to the process of building up the infrastructure for another, eventual someday portion of the 13. This will be my Myths and Legends thing, which will intially house a cornucopia of Greek deity descriptions. But you got to start somewhere?

June 2nd, 2013: well, I didn't really manage anything of use today here at the 13, since I spent all my Technoholic Time ™ arguing on the phone with GoDaddy, since I was getting strange, 401 errors when trying to update something. And then couldn't view anything. Which is funny, since they promise such high up-time constantly. Beh.

June 1st, 2013: with seconds to spare, I wrapped up my revisions to the initial roster for the new Marvel Universe Miscellany, namely by sorting out Marvel Boy 8. He was riddled with html, spelling and grammatical errors, and none of you told me about any of them. Sigh. But at the very least he (and this portion of the 13) is now current.

May 31st, 2013: continuing my effort to finally streamline the folks in my newly reborn Marvel Universe Miscellany, I've revised what I had written thus far for John Wraith: Weapon X teleporter extraordinare! I fixed a ton of spelling and grammar errors nobody told me about, and added his Edition 13 variation. So at least he's better now?

May 30th, 2013: so I've got another Elder of the Universe for you, this time the Trader! Today I cleaned up his powers and gave him one that one version of my research says he should have. Also cleaned up his text ever so slightly, not to mention the fact that he now has a 4C System: Edition 13 variation as well. Bask in the commerce!

May 29th, 2013: worked up a tweak of what I had for the second, android Red Raven today, revising his power descriptions as I had the third previously, and of course giving him his Edition 13 variation. In the course of this work however, I discovered that Marvel has just killed that third Red Raven this month. Sigh... everything I touch dies.

May 28th, 2013: why hello there! I've upgraded another of my Miscellaneous Marvel Universe folks, this time covering the third Red Raven! This primarily involved me tweaking the grammar of her character descriptions, revising the nomenclature of her powers to fit the newest rules I use, and of course building her Edition 13 variation.

May 27th, 2013: what do you know, I've got another character from the Marvel Universe Miscellany all cleaned up! This latest victim is Lifeguard, who was previously just the Australian lifeguard Heather Cameron until her mutant powers (and secret Shi'ar royal heritage) got her inducted into the so-called X-treme X-men for a couple years!

May 26th, 2013: have cleaned up another of my Marvel Universe Miscellany characters - halfway done, now! This latest overhaul was to Kid Zeus, the reincarnated form of Hercules' father, who was reborn as a ten year old weather controller after drinking water from the river Lethe. Though his history needs some further expansion.

May 25th, 2013: covering my second public Elders of the Universe descriptions, I have considerably tweaked what I had for Father Time. I have seriously overhauled his power description, since all of the various 'time' powers have evolved since I originally wrote him. He's now hunky dory however, and ready to mess with your characters!

May 24th, 2013: hitting up another Marvel Universe Miscellany article, I've sorted out my work on the Astronomer. This mainly involved renaming a few powers, fixing his quirk, and adding his Edition 13 variation. Though I relished the ability to actually apply a Beyond rank to a character - something I very, very rarely get to do.

May 23rd, 2013: continuing my work to rehabilitate the rather small Marvel Universe Miscellany, I've taken on another highly obscure (even for this site) character. Today's work sees me cleaning up what I have extant for the second Angel, the original hero's brother, who literally stole his public persona and fought crime with it!

May 22nd, 2013: I have the new Marvel Universe Miscellany going now, and for my first push on this new, small portion of the 13's latest overhaul, I am cleaning up my description of Rusty Collins: the Firefist! I did not update his background, since he may or may not currently be dead (it all depends on Necrosha, which I haven't read).

May 21st, 2013: so I was gearing up to work on the Timely Heroes thing again, but realized I had to finish up something else before I could even start that. This was the conversion of the Odds and Ends portion of the 13 to the Marvel Universe Miscellany, which I have done despite it taking a bunch more time than it ought to have.

May 20th, 2013: since I've been lax in my addition of new things to the 13, I have returned to the Variant Earth 13 reference and completed my work on the three of four 'required' B'ntri sample characters. The latest is the Inveterate Invertebrate, a mostly normal B'ntri who showed up in Agency 13 issue 6 - and was ultimately killed there!

May 19th, 2013: while I hadn't intended to get going on the G.I. Joe revisions quite so early, I sort of ran out of the 'spare' updates I had handy, so here goes. This time 'round, I have given you an updating and streamlining of Agent Delta, a retconned original G.I. Joe who may not even exist, now that his comic book timeline is 'disavowed'.

May 18th, 2013: having wrapped up the Adventurers portion of the new Timely Heroes reference yesterday, I thought I'd do the same for its Fugitives today - all one of them! Yep, I've streamlined the work I put into Wing Po thus far, having also added his Edition 13 variation as well. Because that's what I've been doing this year so far!

May 17th, 2013: barely in time to keep up my update-a-day thing for another, uh, day, I've refined my description of Zephyr Jones for you! I've added his Edition 13 variation, not to mention fine tuned his historical profile. Which of course wraps up the small roster of adventurers from the Timely Heroes reference I've covered thus far!

May 16th, 2013: picking up where I left off yesterday, I slightly revamped another of hte Timely Heroes adventurers. This second revision was to Zara of the Jungle, tightening up her character description, adding an Edition 13 variation, and fixing problems with her character imagery - along with those for Dave Dean and Zephyr Jones.

May 15th, 2013: having done the requisite nerd research, I have started my tweaking of the Timely Heroes, er, heroes. Beginning in the Adventurers section, I've added an Edition 13 variation to Dave Dean, the Deep Sea Demon or whatever. This, of course, after slightly tweaking his text in the other two variations, that is. Check him out!

May 14th, 2013: apologies for not having an actual update today, but rest assured I am spending plenty of time on the Technohol here. You see, I had to do a lot of 'nerd research' for a rather large overhaul of the Timely Heroes portion of the 13. While it was a whole lot of sleep-inducing reading (given my work schedule), I'm ready to start work now!

May 13th, 2013: since I apparently forgot the specific rules for one of my own powers, Tentacles, I went and modified what I had for the 'generic' B'ntri species profile. Added it into the Additional Limbs power, and then removed the completely redundant Plasticity power and Wrestling talent. Well, redundant unless one wished to specialize or something.

May 12th, 2013: oh, hey there. Went ahead and completed work on another example B'ntri for your gaming digestion today. He is the Grim Determinator, one of the B'ntri referred to in the Variety Show's character descriptions - or at least the Mhunghus', at least. He's a powerful spellcaster in addition to being able to eat your face in seconds!

May 11th, 2013: spent a good long time today finding all (?) the Variant Earth 13 files that incorrectly spelled B'ntri as... a couple other things. Also changed all the instances of the Society of Eludicated Brethren to the Society of Explicated Brethren. This is mostly a copyright concern, since I'd inadvertently lifted the name.

May 10th, 2013: as I'd finished two (admittedly small) factions from the Robots in Disguise series these last couple of days, it seemed a good time to render myself current where those text file archives are concerned. Thus, I built all new ones for both the Maximals (all one of him) and the non-Transformers from this cartoon.

May 9th, 2013: hey, so it's a new Technoholic month! To ring in this auspicious occasion, I've wrapped up all one of my Maximal character revisions for the Robots in Disguise reference! He is of course Optimus Primal, who you can use in a Beast Machines campaign if you just file off the 'ghost' bits of his description. He's awesome that way.

May 8th, 2013: it's the end of this first Technoholic month of Year 16, and I've taken this opportunity to wrap up my work on the non-Transformers in my Transformers: Robots in Disguise reference's overhaul. This was done by completing my upgrade to T-AI, the Autobots' base AI and support tactician. It's a weird entry but what can you do?

May 7th, 2013: racing at a breakneck pace through the Transformers: Robots in Disguise reference's non-Transformers, I've sorted out the third and last hu-man from this part of the 13. He is Koji Onishi, the side kick of the Autobots throughout this series. Because every Transformers story needs to have hu-mans in it somewhere, apparently. Beh.

May 6th, 2013: continuing my work on the rather limited roster of non-Transformer characters in the Transformers: Robots in Disguise reference, I have slightly overhauled my description of the Human Plot Device, Doctor Kenneth Onishi. I streamlined his text and grammar just a wee bit, and then added his Edition 13 variation. Enjoy!

May 5th, 2013: swinging back to the Robots in Disguise thing for a couple days, I thought I'd knock off fixes to the not-Transformers portion of this rules reference. I started by fine tuning what I had for Kelly, the perpetual victim of the Autobot's boobery during the RiD series, seriously sorting out a wide variety of grammar problems her entry had.

May 4th, 2013: since I'm in-between thing in the Robots in Disguise overhaul, I figured I'd go ahead and add another character to the Variant Earth 13 reference. She is the Terrible Thingus, my first 'example' B'ntri character, and an atypical one at that. She's an alien with magical knowledge, cybernetic implants, and biological grafts. Oh myyy.

May 3rd, 2013: having completed my work on the Robots in Disguise Predacons (again), I figured now would be a good time to revise their text file archive. Wouldn't want to leave the old versions of these folks laying around, now, would we? I did this for the Autobot files again as well, since apparently I couldn't spell Sky-Byte's name right back in the day.

May 2nd, 2013: though he has like thirty powers or something, I finally broke down and overhauled my description of the Predacons' ultimate commander, Megatron - at least, as far as those villains operating on earth were concerned. Megatron is now Edition 13 friendly, and has cleaned up texts and powers, so I guess it's time to start another faction.

May 1st, 2013: with all that old stuff that I thought I was already done with cleared out yet again, I'm going out on a limb and fixing up another Predacon description from my Robots in Disguise character reference. This latest fellow is my favorite, Sky-Byte, who got the usual treatment. And I finally managed to spell his name right this time. Robble Robble.

April 30th, 2013: I guess I can wrap up this month by clearing out all the fixes to the fixes to the fixes needed for my Saga descriptions of various Transformers. This last batch involves the Generation 1 Autobots known as Brawn, Gears, Hound, Hot Rod, Huffer, Ironhide, Sunstreaker, and Trailbreaker. Which is all of these folks I've covered so far.

April 29th, 2013: well, in case you weren't sure it was coming, I went ahead and updated the Robots in Disguise Saga Autobots archive for your gaming pleasure. Now you can download this entire faction for use in your MSHAG games if you wish, in a convenient text file format, in these characters' most up to date descriptions. I'm awesome, right?

April 28th, 2013: it's time to wrap up the Robots in Disguise Autobot Saga Character Description revisions. So, I've gone ahead and performed said revisions on Grimlock, Heavy Load, Hightower, Landfill, Omega Prime, Prowl, Side Burn, Ultra Magnus, Wedge, and X-Brawn. All I have to do now is get down to it and update the text file archive. Sigh.

April 27th, 2013: it's day two of our big Robots in Disguise Autobot Saga Character Description tweaking. This time around, I fine tuned what I had for Crosswise, Hot Shot, Ironhide, Midnight Express, Mirage, R.E.V., Railspike, Rail Racer, Rapid Run, and W.A.R.S. That's twenty-one down, with only ten more to go - and then we'll be all supergreen ™ once more!

April 26th, 2013: so yeah, I'm (again) revising my Robots in Disguise Saga ability scores for the Autobots. Apologies! But I think what I've got for Brave, Cerebros, Daytonus, Fortress Maximus, Optimus Prime, Prowl 2, Sideways, Side Swipe, Skid-Z, Storm Jet, and Tow-Line are a bit more accurate, show-wise and otherwise. Hope that didn't mess anyone up too much.

April 25th, 2013: it occurred to me that, upon completing my revision of Masque for the Variant Earth 13 E Mail Game thing, that I forgot to add his Creative Commons disclaimer. I'd actually cleared that with Masque's creator, but I hadn't actually put it in 'print', as it were. So I went ahead and added that to his Edition 13 description. Sorry again!

April 24th, 2013: so you know how it goes, just when I think I've got a handle on how I want Transformer statistics to work in my slightly modified Saga rules, well, something better occurs to me. So I went back and modified all the Saga entries I've built for the Predacons so far to line up with this revised conversion process. Sorry 'bout that!

April 23rd, 2013: I apparently forgot just how involved Cryotek's character description really was. While attempting to do overtime all week, I've been struggling to update this fellow, and just finally got it done today. Arg. But at long last Cryotek is good again, as is his weird minion, Chro - who required considerable overhauling. Bleah!

April 22nd, 2013: while I didn't cover my favorite Predacon today, I nonetheless began my work on the three 'larger' Predacons from the Robots in Disguise line of Transformers toys. This first foray into embiggening is Bruticus, who I have given the usual treatment. You know, streamlined power roster, smoother descriptive text, Edition 13 variation, etc.

April 21st, 2013: I took a small break from the Predacons to write the 'flavor' text for my Variant Earth 13 B'ntri aliens. This one was in the form of a cursory report filed by the adventurer Charlie Chicanery, who the Agency hired to travel to the B'ntri home world to see what she could find out. Which gave me the opportunity to write Charlie again. Yay!

April 20th, 2013: we're off to a good start on the Robots in Disguise Predacon roster. Today I cleaned up the descriptive text and power roster for Dark Scream, and of course worked up his Edition 13 variation. That covers all three of the 'smaller' Predacons, so I figure I'll start up on the bigger fellows next time. Which, yes, includes my favorite Predacon of all!

April 19th, 2013: continuing my work to overhaul all seven of my Robots in Disguise Predacon descriptions, I've cleaned up Gas Skunk today. This fine dandy has received an Edition 13 variation, along with streamlined descriptive text, normalized ability scores and statistics, and of course a cleaned up power roster. Almost done with the little guys, now!

April 18th, 2013: with the tedium required to make them work, I have begun producing updates to my various Robots in Disguise Predacon character descriptions. The first in line for the 'treatment' was Slapper, who received a streamlining of his descriptive texts, power roster and ability score ranks, and of course an Edition 13 variation on a theme.

April 17th, 2013: gearing up for an upgrade to my extant Robots in Disguise Predacon entries, I've done a bit of work on the infrastructure going on in my new Transformers directory. I had to build the index pages and such that these seven villains will require to properly live within their new home, so I have done so - it's not glamorous, but it was necessary.

April 16th, 2013: so I've got all the upgrades to my various power listings I had in mind complete. Thus, it's time for some new content, this time in the form of the B'ntri. These horrible super-carnivores are the subterranean spawn of an unknown rogue planet adrift in interstellar space, and have left their world to eat anything novel that they can get their tentacles on!

April 15th, 2013: the last bit of powers work I'd been contemplating for a while was returning Hyperlinguistics to the Mental Powers roster for the Textbook Character Treatise. I did this because I also moved Quintessential Variation out - though I left it listed for now, as a 'Deific Power'. As you can guess, it'll eventually be placed in the Deionomicon. Eventually.

April 14th, 2013: the flip coin of the work I perpetrated yesterday, I've gone and added a reduction in lifting ability to shrunken characters in the Shrinking / Self power. Going along with the damage penalty smaller characters have, this doesn't reduce their Strength or Brawn (along with Health) so much as their ability to move mass unaided.

April 13th, 2013: something I've been meaning to do for a good long time is add a blurb about how one has a higher effective Strength, for lifting purposes, when using Growth. I assumed it was assumed, but ultimately decided that the text didn't really support that, so I went ahead and added some texts to each version of the power to specify that.

April 12th, 2013: another change that I've been needing to make, since it was a) a bit too costly, and b) overpriced for sure, I had to tweak what I had for the longevity power - both in my power roster 'shell' documents and the actual longevity text file. Of course again, you won't see much of this work for a short bit, but it needed doing. So there?

April 11th, 2013: in the spirit of cleaning out my 'to do' list of corrections, I've spent some time tinkering with the many and various versions of the elongation power in my rules (yes, there are more than two). Fixed a couple of pronoun problems, and sorted out a weird issue with a not-yet-public version of this ability as well - you'll see it soon enough though.

April 10th, 2013: as I tend to do come a new Technoholic year, I thought I would do a bit of 'spring cleaning', taking care of some long-standing yet minor issues floating around. The first is a round of corrections to the Core Rules (both versions), sent in by Technoholic reader McSwain LeRoy. Thanks for the fixes to my atrocious grammar - they're greatly appreciated!

April 9th, 2013: every time this date comes around, I lament the fact that there's so much left undone despite the ridiculous amount of time I've spent here on the 13. While I've indeed made good progress over the last three hundred and sixty-six days, I still have an astounding amount of work to do before I can consider my work here 'done'. Sigh.

Rest easy however, for I'm not just whining here today. Not just, anyway. For today I have also completed my work on the Warriors of Thor, namely by adding Yesterday's Yvonne to the roster. She's a completely normal human example of this group's membership, which is harder than it sounds for me. No magic spells, no high tech hammers, just her. Enjoy!
